Fast, efficient & friendly! Fast and efficient is never something I would use to describe Walmart in the past. I was gifted tires from Walmart with road hazard warranty last year. When I got a flat tire a few days ago I was honestly dreading dealing with this center due to all the bad reviews Honest Review : It only took about 20 minutes in and out for them to give me a new tire & it was under warranty! This team needs more props! Thanks Wal-Mart Auto Center!

First I was met with rude employees who obviously thought they knew better than me. In addition, I was quoted 30 bucks to install two tires but when I got rung up I was charged close to $60. I brought my second set of wheels and tires in about 45 minutes before closing. I was not expecting to get them done the same day, but according to the very nice employee at the register the techs were stingy and I couldn t leave the tires overnight. He apologized for the inconvenience, but as someone who works in the service industry as a mechanic, making a work order and holding items overnight is very common. The fact they weren t willing to work with me was frustrating, especially after running around town all day. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

These folks took great care of me today after I had a run-in with a pot hole. Can not thank them enough for their friendliness and attentiveness to my vehicle on a Sunday morning. Highly recommend!

I called last week and the lady told me they would most likely have my tires Thursday but she can t order them for me.. Makes no sense considering Walmart is the only one that carries them. So I called this morning.. She is telling me they are out of stock but the website clearly states they have some in stock in Bozeman. She is just too lazy to do her job and look. I have been getting the same tires from them for years and never had a problem. She is the worst!! Doesn t even deserve the star. I have been waiting all week and now I have to make an appointment somewhere two weeks out.Service: Tires

Utter incompetence! On Oct. 8th I scheduled a simple tire change for Oct 14th. Two days before the tire change, I got an email saying that they don't have the tires yet, so I had to reschedule. I rescheduled it for Oct. 21st and 1 hour before the appointment I got the same email saying it has been cancelled by them. I call the auto phone extension for a solid 15 minutes and get no response, not even the ability to leave a message. I called about 4 other store offices and finally reached an inventory worker who checked on my order and told me that the tires actually were in stock, who would've guessed. She tells me that tire changes operate on a first come first serve basis and that I should just drive to have them changed. So, I drove to Walmart at my appointment time that was just cancelled. I got there and talked to the first mechanic I saw, and they referred me to the front desk of the auto department. I talked with the boy working there and he has no idea what the appointment scheduler even is. He brings in the lead mechanic to talk with me and he says that the online system doesn't work and that I'll have to schedule another appointment. So, all in one day Walmart employees said there was no need to schedule appointments, there was a need to schedule them but only in-person, and one didn't even know they existed. How freaking hard is it to build a tire changing system that works! In all of this, I didn't receive an apology from any of the employees or the company. I am now waiting 14 days from when I scheduled initially, JUST TO CHANGE TIRES! This process takes 30 minutes. I should have just gone to Firestone or Jiffy Lube looking back at it.

Adequate service but they need to update the hours of operations to reflect their actual operating hours. As I arrived at 6:45am based off of the google hours of operation which state an open of 7am not 8am as the door sign indicates.

So I came in not expecting much. But they have taken care of me to go on my travels! The polishing on my headlights is awesome and worth every penny! They were quite helpful and I love the staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Makes my stop easy. I will stop in again for sure. Even checked my spare tire pressure even though that is a major pain. Thanks!

Took my 2011 chevy cruze in for an oil change yesterday and they forgot to put my oil cap back on . After running errands she started acting funny and realized they had NEVER put my oil cap back on when I looked under my hood I found everything covered in oil. . And my oil basically all drained ! thankfully I caught it before any major issues . Will definitely never be going back to them or recommending them save your time , car and money and stay clear . The only reason I m giving one star is Google review is making me.

I was a little hesitant based on other poor reviews, but I had no other options this day. I was very pleased by the level of service and attentiveness of the staff. My oil change was completed in less than 30min. I would use them again.

For a while Walmart was a go to for oil changes. Cheapest in town and from what we know did a good job and did checks on simple things around the car. Until about a month ago. We have a 12 yo car with high miles that we took in for an oil change. We started noticing an oil leak in the last couple weeks. Took it to a different mechanic to find that the Walmart mechanics had stripped the threading to our oil pan and tried to seal it with a silicone sealant that clearly didn t work. They said that they ve seen this happen to quite a few other people that have gotten oil changes at Walmart. I understand that it s an older car with lots of oil changes however they didn t point it out when we picked up the car. Only a small note on the paper. That we didn t see until we scoured the receipt paper. We re now faced with $600 to replace the oil pan. That is the end of taking our cars there. May not be your experience but I m not risking another $600 fix.Services: Tires, Oil change

GREAT experience at the Bozeman Walmart Auto Center. Dave was so sweet, caring, and fun on the phone and in person. They were able to squeeze me to get my battery replaced in when I was in a pinch. They took great care of me and even went the extra mile to change my air filter because they noticed it was really dirty. Will be going back to them because you can't beat that service and the price I paid. The whole team was great. Definitely deserve raises.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical

Everything was going good, I showed up at 8am, got everything set for my car and then went and did my shopping. I waited until almost 1pm for them to call my name. After waiting 5 hours I went up to the desk and asked if my car was ready. The service manager Dave said he had called my name over the store intercom. Which isn t true, the entire time my car had been sitting outside he had spent that time talking to people he knew in the store. When I said he never called my name he replied well you were probably just playing Facebook . Very unprofessional comments to make and also I did not appreciate that he tried to argue with me over calling my name.Service: Tires

I ordered $900 worth of tires from Walmart website. After I ordered I was offered a link to schedule install. After a tried I was given a number to call I was told by local wal mart I can only schedule After tires arrive. Tires arrived yesterday. I called an was told I can't schedule and that it's first come first serve. Fair enough except the website and previous calls implied I could schedule. I asked to have the tires returned for a refund I was told that Walmart and walmart.com are separate companies (BS) and that I'd have to process a refund through the website. Absolute joke.

The system is screwy and says they open at 7 when they actually open at 8. The lady running things this morning had to put up with a lot from a lot of customers and was so nice and friendly throughout. She happened to come in early to catch up on paperwork and saw me waiting at 7. Instead of just ignoring me she helped me get things arranged so that when the techs come at 8 my car would be ready. She showed sympathy and compassion for the circumstances that put me at her door an hour before opening. Angels are real!

The only place I trust with my car. I'm late with this review, however, these are my go to, trustworthy, decent, and kind human beings ( & only one rude one) the management here is superb, the employees are wonderful. They were put to the test with integrity and passed. If anyone had a bad experience, I'm sorry for them, it's the isolated situation. They are good people here.

Minimally competent staff. Went to get tires mounted and was told I'd they could get started in 15 minutes, after the car ahead was done. 30 minutes later the tech was still trying to balance 1 wheel. 2hr15 later they successfully finished mounting 4 tires on the car ahead and began working on mine. Cheap labor rates, but it shows.

Dav and his crew at Walmart auto and tire center are great. I've been to a bunch of Walmarts and I'm always at least somewhat disappointed but not this one. They are really professional, polite and good at what they do. Thank you Dav and crew for doing a great job!

Over torqued the oil filter housing on my 2018 dodge caravan cracking it resulting in an oil leak. Also over torqued and stripped the oil plug, and reinstalled it with some sort of epoxy. So the van required an extensive repair to replace the oil filter housing/oil cooler along with a new oil pan, but I saved $10 on my oil change.Service: Oil change

Absolutely zero customer service. I brought my car in for an oil change and new tires. The counter person asked me what size tires I wanted and I told him that I wasn't sure what size tires my car needed. He refused to help in any way. I asked if he could recommend anything if I gave him the make and model, or just use the same size tires already on my car. He said no and would not tell me how to figure out what size I needed. I don't know much about cars, so I brought it in because I needed help. If I knew what kind of tires I needed I would have just done it myself. Also, the wait is incredibly long. The woman in front of me asked how long it would take for her oil change and they told her about 2.5 hours. Her car and my car were the only two cars in line. I can only recommend this Walmart auto center if you want zero help and a dreadfully long wait. Take your car elsewhere.

Busy place in a small area. Since they are busy and in a cramped, small space, it is hard to get your needs meant easily.

The prices on tires brings me back, but the lady at the counter was rude. It might be worth the extra couple hundred bucks to not have to deal with her again. And one tire was half flat the next morning. Leaky valve stem core, I replaced myself.

Getting your oil changed even in the middle of a pandemic if something you still just need to do. The folks at Walmart seem just as overworked as all of the other essential workers, my heart goes out to you all. Today's experience was a pleasant one albeit they were busy and I had to wait while customers were on the phone with lots of questions and other workers were at lunch, totally my fault on the timing of getting my oil changed. Turns out I was missing a screw from an air filter, the part that covers the air filter and I had my oil changed at Walmart the previous time so somewhere between there and now I lost a screw. Not critical but they also did not want to take responsibility for it. Again it's just a screw. One of the workers even came out to show me which screw it was and what kind of get to replace the one that wasn't properly put back after the last time I had my oil changed at this Walmart auto care center. My recommendation is that you go in early and be prepared to do your shopping and still wait for them to finish your car . Lots of people are having work done this time of year. I would give today's experience 3 and 1/2 Stars. Definitely can't beat the convenience of having your car worked on while you shop for food clothing school supplies makeup and other things you don't need but just can't seem to live without.

The bozeman Walmart is the worst with calls. I was trying to call to inquire about tires today. I called the auto center at least 8 times and then I called another 4 times trying to reach any of the departments and got no answer anywhere. Absolutely ridiculous. Nobody is ever working. I hate this store!

This place was ok at first. They allegedly open at 8:00am. Don't believe the 24/7 thing that is for Walmart NOT the tire center! After giving them my business a few times, I realized I was always arriving when they were overwhelmed with business. I asked the individual at the front desk what he would do if he wanted to get there when the staff was not so backed up. He advised to come in around 7:30am. I took his advise and arrived as early as I could. One of their female staff members got extremely aggravated when I asked if I could make an appointment."WE ARE NOT OPEN YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!"When I tried to explain what the previous gentleman had advised me to do she told me I was misinformed. That was the straw that broke the camels back. They have lost my business ever since.

Came in for an oil change, we re traveling. The service was so quick! The lady told us about our transmission fluids being dry and filled it up. Let us know our wipers were probably in need of changing. And I m just now noticing our front floor mats were vacuumed!!!! (There was a lot of rocks and dirt from hiking and being on the road)!! I wish I would have noticed sooner to thank her! Little things like this makes great service!! Keep her around Walmart!

First, I ordered the tires online and Wal-Mart was supposed to call me when they arrived. They never called. The tire center is first come first serve, so I was there within 15 minutes of it opening and was told it will take 3 hours to install the tires and they would call me. 5 1/2 hours later I called, waited on hold for 7 minutes to find out my truck has been complete for some time. I go to pick up my truck and notified the cashier that I never got a phone call and that my truck was left in the parking lot, unlocked. You would think they would care but he completely ignored me. Don't support these clowns with your business, it only supports their neglect of customers.

An absolute waste of my time. I wanted to buy and install tires listed on their website but they refused to do so. I was told I need or order them myself online. What kind of customer service is this?! I can't even order tires listed on their web page through the tire department. The lady was very blunt about it and did not care. Talk about a turn off. I'll go somewhere else.

Accused me twice of taking my car to other places because they found things wrong, like oil being overfilled and telling me a plug/cap was missing (a cap that doesn't actually exist per the dealership, mind you). I assured them those issues were due to THEIR staff as I hadn't taken my car to any other location. It was merely a convenience to go there when grocery shopping. The convenience wasn't worth the risk to my car. Never went back.

The girls are really nice and it was much faster than I thought it would be. I get all my oil changes there now because they know how to re set my notice when I'm due for an oil change(I guess some places have issues with doing that) and they always do a great job.
