Though I appreciated the courtesy and kindness of every person I came in contact with, I have to recommend you go elsewhere. There is something sketchy going on behind the scenes whether management knows it or not. I have documentation they gave me telling me everything in the car was good and checked. Just to make sure I took it to a mechanic before making a decision to buy or not. The mechanic found 19+ glaring problems with the car. He said the dealership DEFINITELY knew about the issues and instead chose to hide them. The documentation the dealership gave me about the condition of the car was completely wrong. My mechanic laughed when I showed it to him after he inspected the car. He said not only did they lie in the documentation but we would have had to spend an additional $2000-$3000 on just repairs to make it roadworthy.I respectfully confronted the dealership management and was given no explanation. I told them I was disappointed with the lack of integrity and I asked if they'd reimburse us for the inspection since theirs was entirely wrong, and they refused. If they had taken responsibility and made it right, I may have had a different view. But nothing was done and no explanation was given. Do not trust this dealership with your money, take your business somewhere with more integrity.I'll attach the documents here. Colorful form is from the dealer, the other is from the mechanics.

I just bought a 2024 forester sport and I love it! Jon knew what car I would like based of the descriptions I gave him on the first day. I wanted to feel certain that was the right choice so I went back later that week and we looked at practically every new Subaru from outback to cross trek to the Forester premium. I ended up getting the first car he showed me. So I could have left with a new car the first time I went in but now I have no doubt that this was the Subaru for me. Jon knew not only about the cars and their features but also hooked me up with my Subaru so I have control on my phone, he also set me up with a great insurance company. I was worried about my rate when trying to get a quote but at 21 years old I m paying $135 monthly on insurance. Also shout out to Maria. I left the lot understanding my new car. We had to cover everything as my previous car was a 2010.

Loved working with Bryan (Goose)! He made my buying experience wonderful and helped walk me through the process without any pressure. Parts needed to be ordered for the vehicle I got and they made sure to do a temporary fix for me to be able to drive the car in the meantime. My car is completely good to go now! Goose kept his word and made sure I was comfortable with my buying experience even several months after. Amazing guy and I would highly recommend him!

Although I did not purchase a Subaru, I wanted to share this review because this may have been the best service I have ever encountered with a salesman in my life. CJ did a tremendous job remembering EXACTLY what I was looking for and catered his pitch to fit my needs perfectly. I was so appreciative of his attention to detail and he came across as a super nice and genuine guy. Gallatin Subaru is lucky to have such an outstanding salesman!

I can't help but to share our experience at Gallatin Subaru, even though we didn't purchase a vehicle. My husband and I have been looking for a vehicle that can haul a camper and fit a good amount of people. We heard the Ascent can tow up to 5,000lbs, so we became very interested as it seemed to meet all our needs. We worked with Alex who knew everything about the vehicle but freely admitted that he'd rather we talk to Sean about the real towing capabilities. Because Alex and Sean were so honest, my husband and I didn't make a purchase, which we now know, through not only Gallatin but other dealerships as well, we would have deeply regretted in the long run. Gallatin Subaru has very knowledgeable, and most importantly, HONEST salesmen. I absolutely recommend going there and when the time comes, we'll be back to purchase from them.

Has some issues with my high mileage outback, Jake J. And the service team did a diagnostic and recommend a cv axle replace. It would have not been a surprise to have needed it on both sides yet they didn t oversell me. The fix corrected all the clicking noises and my steering is tight and correct. Nice to know their team has integrity ! Great service team Subaru! My 5th Subaru I ve owned .

I wouldn t go here if I didn t already have a service package I purchased at a Subaru dealership in Texas. Took my car in for the maintenance (that is included in the service package!) not only did I receive poor customer service. But they also said there was nothing needed aside from the oil change, only to receive a call a few days later asking why I denied the maintenance they suggested and was included in my maintenance package. I didn t deny it, I wasn t told about it! Now I ve lost trust in their ability to accurately access my vehicle and its needs. They also need to work on their customer service, the person who pulled into the service bay after me was serviced first and I was not greeted when I arrived.

Never, EVER, buy from Gallatin Subaru.In 2023 I purchased a 2014 Crosstrek, and was told it was "inspected and mechanically sound." In the 11 months since buying, I've had to fix:- The A/C- The battery (3 times)- All four windows not working- Spark plugs replacement- Oil leak- Another oil leak- Both front control armsI've saved all the documents in case anyone is inclined to not believe this. The dealer will tell you that there was no way they could have known about all the issues, but I refuse to believe that. All this has added up to around $6,000 of necessary repairs and a priceless amount of inconvenience in less than a year. After all this, they had the audacity to offer me a whopping 35% of what I bought it at to trade it in and buy a new car, as if that was some sort of compromise. No thanks. Never believe anything this awful business tells you about the condition of a car before you buy it.

I have owned 5 Subaru's, but this is my first experience with Gallatin Subaru and I have to say I will never go back to the other dealer. From the first contact with Ian DeRoeck, to him sitting in the car with my son and I making sure I knew all the features, was an amazing experience. Ian is very knowledgeable of the dealership, inventory, and our car's features. His outstanding professionalism will keep us coming back as well as telling all my friends of the service we received at Gallatin Subaru. As my son said "Ian rocks".

I had a great experience purchasing my new (to me) Forester Sport! I worked with Cameron and he was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. It had been over 10 years since I had gone through the arduous process of car shopping, but Cameron made it super easy. From the initial test drive to the final signature, Cameron went above and beyond. And, because they don t work on commission, I never felt pressured! Thanks Cameron, I am LOVING my Forster!!!

I have had a horrible experience with Gallatin Subaru. Through the process of buying a car from them i have learned that they are not good at communicating with their staff and therefore bad at communicating with their customers. I bought a car that I was told would be ready the following week, however the day I was supposed to pick up the car when I was told that it would be ready the next week. It was also not true i had to go through that for about a month and a half and then when it was finally "ready" me and my mom went to pick it up and were appalled at the condition of the car. The car was far from the condition they said it was in and had not been detailed. This led to a grueling 4-hour process of them "figuring out" what to do. They changed the car I would get, which they promised to pay for any maintenance needed and a detail. To their credit they did pay for the maintenance, but it's been about 2 months and I have yet to confirm the detail because I haven't received confirmation from them. The photos are what is considered "ready to take home". The star was required for me to post this.

We are moving from Cincinnati, OH to Bigfork, MT and needed to buy a pre owned vehicle online that would be ready when our flight arrives. We found what we were looking for at Gallatin Subaru and started the process with a call to the Sales Manager. He politely pointed us to our sales person, Cole. We have received excellent care from Cole. He has been friendly and professional and took the time to provide us with an up close, personal FaceTime tour of the of the SUV and was careful to point out the minor imperfections that show on the body of the car. Gallatin Subaru s one price approach eliminated the traditional, unpleasant negotiating tactics that many dealers still put people through. Cole facilitated the entire purchase process and handed us off to Dimitrios in Finance. Dimitrios was pleasant and efficient. He offered the additional warranty products but was not overbearing. We happily give a five star review to Cole and Dimitri. The Gallatin Subaru management is fortunate to have them both on their team. We can t wait to take (free) delivery of our used vehicle later this month!

Gallatin Subaru has excellent customer service. I had an oil change done here and the oil filter wasn t tightened all the way causing my car to leak oil. Despite my original frustration with the dealership, Ryan Culligan the service manager was fast to help. The dealership paid for a tow truck and serviced my vehicle free of charge the same day. Everyone makes mistakes, but it s not often that dealerships own up to mistakes anymore. Safe to say Gallatin Subaru does an awesome job helping customers in time of need.

We had a fantastic purchase experience at Gallatin Subaru. Our salesperson, Ian DeRoeck, was patient, friendly, and clearly interested in meeting our needs/wants. He went the extra mile to find us a vehicle that was a good fit for us and he was clearly supported by a good management team, many of whom we met throughout the process. The purchase process was pleasant, and all the dealership staff were service-oriented and exceptionally friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Great experience renting a car via Subaru of Gallatin. We were running into issues finding a rental in Bozeman, and I was surprised to learn I could rent a car from a dealership. I worked with Chris Froelich on securing my rental for a great deal! When we arrived, Chris took great care in getting us in and on our way in a nicely appointed Subaru Outback. The car was fun to drive on our roadtrip across Montana, and the team at Subaru left a positive impression. Highly recommend!

Went in for a general inspection and they came back to us saying that our Subaru Forester had a crack in the exhaust and needed an entirely new exhaust system ($3,800). We took it to D&B exhaust for a second opinion and they looked it over and not only did they say there was no crack, but they also said it was running great as is. Long story short, do not take your Subaru here for maintenance, use one of the other auto shops in the valley!

Today we went to Gallatin subaru and worked with Jon!! He helped us get out of a pretty shady situation and got us into a brand new car!! The time and attention and focus he gave to us was more then a 5 star experience!! We now own a 24 subaru crosstrek sport and could not be any happier then we are now with it!! SCAM ALERT - Went to get a rattling near my engine checked out and was told to spend over $6000 in repairs. Subsequently, I got it checked out at two other repair shops that specialize in Subarus and was told Bozeman Subaru is trying to pull a fast one. A heat shield had come loose and after it was clamped down the rattling went away. Everything else was fine. Everyone needs to be careful about the shady business practices here.

Service department falls short of even the lowest of expectations. We ve historically had bad experiences during minor vehicle issues - no accountability on having a loaner available, no accountability to completing work on time, and intermittent communication.Recently we had a larger issue occur (transmission replacement under warranty) which was brought in 5/18 and just finished 7/27.8 WEEKS! Even with a respect for paperwork, diagnostics and so on - there s is absolutely no reason a work order noting a 6.5hr repair should take 8 weeks to complete. To boot, every time we checked in on progress, they said next week and that was week after week.Recommend taking any notable work needed to the Butte team, and if there s any frustrations you have with Gallatin - contact Subaru NA and their customer advocate team to get involved.

I m typically hesitant when it comes to dealerships due to aggressive sales tactics. Jon completely changed my mindset. Everyone who works there is super laid-back and listens to your concerns. This was the easiest vehicle purchase I ve ever made!

Dont take your car here unless its something simple like an oil change, brought my car in for them to reprogram a new ecu, just for them to tell me it was vin locked (which they knew before hand since they dont even make new ecu's for my year of car and they still told me to bring in the car) and then reinstall my old ecu and tell me it doesnt work, didnt even attempt to reprogram it or anything, and then they proceed to charge me over $500 and tell me it took them over 3 hours to do ( Installing an ecu takes a maximum of 15 minutes). I would honestly just take your car to somewhere that actually knows what they are doing if you dont want to get ripped off ( any other subaru dealership in the state)..

Couldn t be more happy with the 2018 Golf I purchased online. Dimitri was great to work with and went above and beyond to answer any questions and even shoot a video of the car detailing all the features. The finance department sent the paperwork overnight and everything was complete in a couple days. I flew out from California to pick up the car and it was perfect. Thanks again for the great service!

I am over the top happy with the experience that I had at Gallatin Subaru when I purchased my Crosstrek. My salesman Dimitri Imbrunetti was AMAZING! He found me exactly what I was looking for and was so professional and knowledgeable!! He was even there to greet me when I came in to have my vehicle serviced the first time! In this day and age outstanding customer service is hard to find so I would score him a 10 if possible!! Thank you Dimitri! I love my Subaru Crosstrek!!

I don't tend to leave negative reviews as there is already enough of that in the world but my experience here cost me so much money that I feel I should share it.My Subaru Forester went in with an OBVIOUSLY broken clutch, it was unable to drive as it wasn't able to change into gear so I had to get it towed there. They proceeded to tell me that it needed a new clutch (wow who would have guessed) and quoted a $2500 replacement. Now, I'm no expert on pricing and mechanics but a quick google search revealed that this is an absurdly high price for a clutch replacement. So naturally I decided to get a second opinion. Little did I know, they charge to diagnose a problem with a car and I had to pay $200. A monkey would have been able to determine the clutch needed replacing so I can't be sure as to how they justify charging for that. Shows they squeeze money out of every situation. Oh and they offered a measly $100 for a trade in, HA!So anyway, I ended up getting it fixed for $1400 at CA Auto, a highly recommended, honourable mechanic.I must add that everyone we spoke to at Subaru were lovely and helpful and I'm sure are great people just following managements ridiculous policies.All in all, I should have trusted my gut and never taken my car here and I would recommend everyone to avoid this place.
