Steve is the kind of manager you hope you meet when going to an autoshop. Honest, helpful, and straightforward. The work on my van went beyond store hours, but the crew stayed late to finish. Big thanks to Jared, the mechanic who worked on my van. He had a great attitude, stayed late, and made sure everything was done correctly. Top quality staff here! Definitely, consider Firestone when looking for an autoshop in the Bozeman area.

The employees are very awesome here! We had outstanding service as customers from Colorado. We lost a tire in the middle of a snow storm on our road trip back home. They did an outstanding job with our repair and did so in a timely manner. Their kindness was greatly appreciated in our stressful situation.Thank you Firestone Tires!

Always home-town friendly and quick turn-around time at this Firestone. I can only speak to service on tires (new install, repair, maintenance); I have taken three different cars to them over five years and they have consistently delivered a five-star job.

I have never had such a horrible oil change experience. Not only does making an appointment mean nothing (front desk lady said everyone showed up at the same time for their appointment - isn t that the point of an appointment?) she was so incredibly rude. When my fiance asked if we could sit and wait for our car instead of leaving and coming back, she said well that s not dropping off, that s waiting. I can understand that staffing shortages cause stress, or having an off day in general, but treating customers with such disrespect is unacceptable. What s even worse is that the oil change was $190. Do NOT waste your money here, when you can get a quicker, better oil change for $100 at Lube Alley (took our other car there, spent two less hours there without an appointment, $90 cheaper, and outstanding staff). Unless Firestone is going to offer to pay back the money that we were practically robbed of, then don t bother leaving a we re sorry to hear about your experience comment, Firestone. When you have this many one star reviews, it s clear that something needs to change within the business, stop wasting time writing apologies and look at the way the business operates. Such a waste of time and money.

I scheduled two appointments to get an inspection on a used car I was hoping to buy. The first time the seller and I went there for our appointment, they were closed due to staffing shortages -- their business hours online and the email confirmation I got did not explain this. We scheduled the second appointment during the business hours posted on the door, but when we got there, they told us they had no record of our appointment because that time had already been booked. They had automatically rescheduled us for a month out without any notice.I understand they have staffing shortages and limited availability, but I don't think that's what gave me problems. Clearly there's a problem with their appointment confirmation system and communication in general. I decided to stop wasting my time and pay for a mechanic to inspect it.A month before all this, I was taking my previous car to Firestone to have the alignment checked. Right before I got there, my control rod/front axle broke and I just barely made it into the parking lot. One of the employees was kind enough to help me push it into a parking space. I asked one of the employees for a recommendation for which mechanic to tow it to (I don't remember which shop it was), and I went with their recommendation. I only found out the morning after when I drove to the shop that they only work on diesel vehicles, so I had to call a second tow truck to bring it somewhere else.Overall, the Firestone employees I spoke with were friendly, but my experience communicating with them and their system was not good and I wasted time while trying to repair my car and buy a new one. If you're going to have anything done at this shop, maybe reconsider it. If you decide to work with them, don't trust their appointment confirmation and talk to a human to make sure you get your time slot.

We had come to Bozeman to pick up a little dog for a dog rescue we work with a couple weeks ago... And our truck's differential went ka-put. We got towed and chose to bring the truck to Firestone. Open late on a Saturday afternoon.Steve has been amazing to work with! Working with our warranty company (which was not a fun or easy thing)When we drove back up here to get the truck, our other car was acting up. . Steve got us right in .. and checked out!!He's wonderful and made a really cruddy issue as good as it could possibly have been!No pushy up selling! Just a very positive experience, start to finish.

Had a great experience at Bozeman Firestone Automotive. Staff was helpful and thorough as they diagnosed issues with my old truck. Service was prompt and professional. Special thanks to Steve and his great communication as he and his team worked on my truck!

We are from out of state. Our differential blew up. When my wife brought the truck to Bozeman, on dog rescue business.Steve dealt with me over the phone with what we we dealing with. Having knowledge of the automobile repair industry. I anticipated getting the runaround because we're from out of town. But no! Steve is the most honest automotive service person I have dealt with. We in fact bought two sets of tire's in in addition to the major repair previously mentioned

I've been a Firestone customer for a number of years, using them for seasonal tire and oil changes. They have always done a decent job and had reasonable service - not exceptional, but definitely good enough and they were convenient. This season I made winter tire change appointment a full month in advance and received an email confirmation, I showed up to my appointment 20 mins early and the woman at the counter told me they had no record of my appointment. Showing her my email confirmation she disregarded it saying it didn't matter and she couldn't help me because I wasn't on her system; further she wouldn't be able to do my tire change "even if I did have an appointment" because my snow tires weren't purchased from them - even though this very Firestone put on and took off those exact tires the previous season. I realize the scheduling error was unlikely her fault and mentioned so, still she was completely unwilling to assist me or even reschedule the appointment. A very disappointing experience, and as a result I will be taking any future business elsewhere and would encourage others to do the same.

Integrity and great service. Driven to and from my hotel where I d had to check in to stay warm in -24 degree night! And not charged for unnessesart work or parts.I have to share my experience for today. I am doing a trip from Ontario. Canada back to Grand Forks BC and traveling along the I90/94. I d pulled in last night to an old Flying J lot at the I90/85 intersection. I parked and rested up for the night. As the temps dropped I turned the engine on to have the unmistakable smell of antifreeze. After setting up in the Super8 for the night to stay warm I woke up in the morning and started to locate an open auto service centre to fix my blown water pump. After not locating anything in town I called Firestone in Bozeman. They said they would be able to take a look at my truck. I limped the truck over to the shop and indicated that I thought the water pump had let go. I was met by Fenton and Steve at the front desk. Explained my issue and they said they would take a look. They got me checked in, did a search for possible parts, and said they could take a look. The 2 of them were extreamly helpful and listened to my thoughts. Both were very informative and helpful. The parts were sourced and work started. This is where I asked if there was any way for me to get back to my hotel for the rest of the day. Steve had Fenton run me back to the hotel in Belgrade. They said they would update me with the findings and if parts could be located. I was prepared to now stay until Monday to have the work done and have the expense of a three night stay in a town that I did not know. lol.Not only did I get a call that the aorta were available and a pump was coming I received another call stating that when they were breaking down the job they found that my alternator had been sprayed with antifreeze and needed replaced. My first thoughts were, here we go . We had a discussion and came to an arrangement that they would continue with the pump replacement and order in the alternator. My alternator would be left to dry out and see if it needed replaced once they got to that part. A call later came and I braced myself for the impact! Good news! Alternator was ok and no replacement was required. They were putting things back together and would call when done. That call came back 30 mins later. All done.Long winded explanation but the crew here, in my mind, went above and beyond to repair my vehicle quickly and did not put in anything that was not required.Integrity is a hard thing to find these days and this shop has it.Too marks for the staff and excellent work done on someone that was traveling through town.Highly recommend this for last minute breakdowns where you will not be ripped off or over charged.

The front desk lady, Melissa, couldn t be ruder. I took my car here for a flat repair, I was second in line and she was super rude to the lady she was helping in front of me, I should ve left at that moment but I was desperate. I drop my car off and they call me a few hours later to tell me my tire was beyond repair and that they put my spare on but had no time to put my other set of tires on, which is fine, everyone is busy. I go to Les Schwab 2 weeks later expecting to buy a set of new winter tires and they can t find any sort of leak or issue with my tire, come to find out, I don t think my boyfriend filled it all the way full when putting my winters on. I call Firestone and speak to Melissa for paper work that confirms they could not repair that tire and apparently it s not in their system and they could not help me while being SUPER rude to me over the phone. Anyway, go to Les Schwab, they will take care of you and the customer service is great. Firestone is no help and horrible customer service.

My experience with this store in Bozeman was exceptional. From my initial interaction on the phone discussing the different tires to accommodating me coming in late in the day despite all the service bins being full they were understanding, doing everything they could to address my needs. I was attended to by a gentleman who was great and even pulled the tires out for me to see before they put them on the car. I was just another person In his long day, but I felt special. There was also a woman there helping people, and despite a full waiting room, she was extremely pleasant with everyone and addressing everyone in a professional manner . I m sure it helps when all of the customers are also pleasant. Even she was busy doing what she does, she did take the time to even check on the customers in the waiting room and let them know where things were, and offer a professional and personal touchIt was so nice to see a can-do attitude in the world that often demonstrates the opposite. The quality of service provided here was exceptional and should be acknowledged especially during this holiday season when everyone is pressured for timeBrad Aylor Bozeman Sport spine and regenerative medicine

My daughter took her car in with an afternoon appointment for an oil change & they stated it would be $110. She calls me nearly 3 hours later saying they haven't even gotten it in yet. I'm 3 states away and called Firestone myself to make sure she wasn't being gouged because we never paid over $60 for previous oil changes. I wanted to make sure my college age daughter wasn't being taken advantage of. Melissa offered a $10 coupon. She claims she sent my daughter an email (she never received it) stating it was a drop off time not an appointment. Ok, so it's $99 4 hours later. Fine. Then my daughter calls me afterwards and says this Melissa talked about me and her to a coworker while my daughter sat in earshot. Then Melissa returned a phone call and talked about us on the phone call too. All while my daughter was in the waiting area, waiting on her car! Melissa told my daughter that i said things I did not. Now we even wonder if they actually did the oil change. And they didn't remember to reset the oil light either. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism at the front desk. Now we know where NOT to go for an oil change in Bozeman. I guess it was kind of them to let us know new tires are needed. They gave us a free quote. Thanks, we'll go to Costco.

Thanks to steve specially for going out of ways to help out and doing amazing customer service i have ever seen. Helped us out in a pickle during thanksgiving break. Our car broke down on our way to visit family. They were able to get us in the day before Thanksgiving and were able to finish fixing the car troubles by Saturday!Yes they were short staffed, but everyone did all they could to get us up and running as quickly as possible.A huge thanks to all who worked hard and extra to get us back on the road!

Booked an appointment for Tire Replacement (Only tire related item on their list of services their website) 1 week ahead of the appointment. I have been told that tire replacement is only if you buy the tires from them. For tire change, I should have selected the seasonal tire change from their website (which does not exist on the list of available services). Now, all shops are booked for at least a month, since the snow has arrived. Make sure you give them call when you book an appointment from their website, because you may think you have an appointment, but you may actually not.

I ve taken two vehicles here for oil changes in the last two weeks and both times I had to wait the entire day to get my vehicle back. The appointments were set at 9:00, they weren t done with an oil change until close. What is the point of an appointment if your vehicle won t be worked on until the end of the day anyway. If you can t staff the place, then take on less of a load.

I was brought in a day early for new tires, the service was fast and respectful. The employees helped to look for ways to save money in the long run and look out for my cars best interest. Thank you!

I was travelling through Montana for a move when my car started to overheat. Despite it being a Sunday, the team at the Bozeman location were able to fit me in and get me out the same day, with a succinct explanation of the problem and a solution to keep it from happening again. I'm incredibly thankful and satisfied.

In a time where customer service seems to be lost...the customer service here is most always top notch. I've yet to have a sub par experience. Steve who I worked with did a great job communicating what was being replaced and recommended maintenance that would need to be done.

Never talked to place where people were so unwilling to offer customer service. I asked about a discount that was offered through my employer and the response I got was "I don't understand why we would give you the same deal as employee pricing". I called the Great falls store and they knew exactly what discount I was asking about, they priced my tires with the discount and earned my business.

I can not say how pleased I was with the service at this Firestone. Traveling through the area on vacation our truck experienced overheating. It was the 4th of July weekend. Called them on Monday when many other places were closed and Melissa said we will work you in our busy schedule. They could not duplicate our problem and did not charge for diagnostic fee. We drove around and went back again and Luis came out at the end of his day and did a second look. We made it home to Iowa and I would highly recommend this facility for service. Lynn.

This place currently has 1 employee and has only had 1 employee for over 2.5 weeks. They have cancelled my appointment twice that s I made 4 and 3 weeks prior for a service I ve already paid for. When asked what s going on, they say nobody wants to work in this town .I asked to speak with the west division area manager Michaela Stone to see when things might return to normal. She refused to accept my call and told her sole employee to not give out her number or email. Terrible leadership.Hey Firestone corporate, there are plenty of people willing to work in this town, they are just not willing to work for the low wages you are offering. It s very simple. Raise wages = attract workers. To the one employee Alec who continues to show up and take calls and field questions from frustrated customers, thanks for showing up and being kind, whatever they are paying you it s not enough.Avoid this place like the plague if you value your time.

I had a appointment for the next day they called saying they could do the work 8 days later. I brought it in they were unsure on the timeline to complete the work. Then failed to work on anything on my car because they were afraid. All they did was change my cabin air filter and tell me what needed done for $165 dollars. I recommend the one next to Walmart on oak (speedy lube i think) or just take it to the dealerships. DONT WASTE UR TIME ENERGY AND MONEY HERE.

This is the most pathetic excuse of a shop calling themselves complete auto-care. The front end employee, who I will not grace with a term resembling manager, failed to mention that a vehicle dropped off at 5 pm, would need to be picked up because they aren t open on a Wednesday due to staffing. Perhaps I might have noticed their hours if it weren t written in marker on a piece of copy paper like a teenager might put on the drive thru at a fast food place when the milkshake machine is broken. I missed a medical appointment and had to pay for an uber for another one, which as a disabled veteran is problematic. To really put the finishing touches, the front-end employee briefly took leave of her normal occupation of turning oxygen into carbon dioxide to charge me nearly $100 for an oil change. I d rate this place a 0 if there were such a rating. Shop local folks. Shop local. Firestone obviously is far below wage rates to attract anyone that s not absolutely unemployable.
