Dark Horse installed a high quality ICON suspension lift, wheels and tires on my 2020 Tundra. Josh helped me get everything going and made some great suggestions as well. Super happy with the finished product. The shop and showroom are spotless and the price was very reasonable.

Excellent work on multiple projects. Never had any of their work fail on us (regears, lift kits, axle shaft upgrades), always exceptional work. They also solved a tricky Jeep engine problem for us that stumped multiple other mechanics in town. Really good at listening to what we're trying to achieve and then suggesting options that have worked out well and weren't over or under kill.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Dark Horse Customs. Scott and David explained the issues with my car very thoroughly and presented several options to fix them. These guys clearly know what they're doing. I won't hesitate to bring my old 4Runner back when another problem arises. 5/5 no doubt!

Had the best experience with Dark Horse! My vehicle was tinted very dark when I purchased it and made it dangerous to drive especially at night. Josh and the whole team were incredibly kind, welcoming and lovely to work with. They have exemplary customer service and were very efficient. My car was ready to go within one day. I couldn't be more happy with the results and feel so much safer at night. Thank you guys!!

I needed help setting up a piece of equipment and had trouble finding skilled assistance anywhere in town. Dark Horse customs was extremely professional and generous with their time, experience and equipment. They are a gold standard for small businesses in the Gallatin Valley.

I went in and talked to they services writers at the front desk about some work I d like done on my vehicle. They informed me that they would like to inspect the vehicle to get an idea of what would be required and how long it would take to schedule it for service. I had my truck towed there so they could look at it and they called me saying I hadn t scheduled an appointment with them and refused to receive the truck and sent it back to my house. They claimed no one had talked to me. This was a huge waste of time and money and I have not received compensation for either.Edit: After writing this review I went in to Dark Horse to try and resolve this issue. I talked to John at the front desk who is who I talked to previously. John retrieved the sales manager and the sales manager informed me they do not do drop offs and that they wanted me present with the vehicle both things that I was not informed on upon my first visit. They also claimed they wouldn t have time to diagnose the problems I had mentioned in my first visit, which makes me wonder why they would resquest I bring my vehicle in the first place. I called to inform them that the vehicle was being towed in and I had a very brief conversation with Jami which basically was okay sounds good . This whole experience was frustrating and cost a full days wages. I would not recommend Dark Horse Customs as they seem to lack professionalism, communication skills and integrity.

Absolutely excellent people with whom to do business! Friendly, knowledgeable and very polite when they ask "why would you want to do that". Yes, I had a very silly idea and they steered me to the perfect solution. And then did an excellent job customizing my new F-150. If you need something special for your rig just call Dark Horse Customs, they know what can and what should be done.Months later: still so very impressed with what they did to my rig! And so very glad they talked me into spending my money on a new rig and customizing it rather than restoring an old rig :)

Dark Horse Customs did an absolutely phenomenal job selecting and building a new engine for my truck. Couldn't be happier with the final product! The shop has a friendly atmosphere with people who genuinely want to help make your project come to life.

I have had great experiences working with Dark Horse Customs on many different projects. I have had them do welding fab work, bumpers-winches-lights on a couple of rigs, atv bumpers with light bars on a Can-Am outlander 1000, flatbed swaps, lift kit on a truck, steal safe shelves and last help with the setup of my new work van. I would recommend them to anyone!

These salesmen have made the biggest difference in my vehicle and buying experience. They are so professional and take great pride in their work. Chad and Shawn have been great to me and my vehicle. All of their services are quick and painless. I would recommend them 10/10.

I did a little work on my Polaris rzr (after flying it threw the air like Ricky Bobby). I had Dark Horse do an alignment for me and they did a great job. Thanks Josh! I appreciate your great service and the work the guys did on my machine.

Took my old 4runner here after hearing recommendations from friends. They have been awesome to deal with, fair on price, and helped me work through some ideas to get my rig exactly how I want it. Outstanding local business!

Called a few weeks ago, spoke to Brint (spelling?) and he sounded enthusiastic about my build. Said he would have a quote to me by that Friday.... Crickets!!! Three weeks later nothing. No quote, no call, no email so NO BUSINESS from me.
