Thanks to Kevin and the entire crew at Willard s! They were nothing short of phenomenal! I had a major mishap with my Highlander right before Christmas not how I wanted to spend Christmas with my 3 kids and no vehicle. Kevin worked his magic and delivered me a Christmas miracle! He made a bad situation better and I m so thankful for it! Everything they did was top notch! This experience has shown me there are still good people in the world they work at Willard s garage!

Highly recommend you never take your vehicle to Willard s. They diagnosed a problem for one of my vehicles five different times and it was wrong every single time. They are lazy and obviously don't care enough to take the time to figure out what is actually going on. Steer clear of this shop please.

What a great Shop they Know Motors homes and they can get them out fast and right. They fix all my cars and pickup. Friend staff and great service. Willards Garage rebuilt the transmission in my 1956 Studebaker President. The car runs great.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Great experience. I took my car in and their estimate was hundreds of dollars cheaper for my breaks. The owner is a great guy and I was 100% confident that I was not going to get taken for a ride - except for the one they gave me to and from the office while they worked on my car. Took my rv to willards on June 8th, it was throwing check engine code p0131 and p0151 bad o2 sensors. Willards called me and originally said the o2 sensors were good and that they would investigate the problem further. 45 minutes later they said the o2 sensors were bad. I thought that was odd. Told them to fix it and picked it up 4 days later paid the 793.14 bill. I ask if the issue was resolved completely and Kevin assured me that it was. He gave me the analogy of them finding the source of the "infection " and taken care of it. We headed out the next day and made it 188 miles to Whiehall and the check engine light came on and threw the same 2 codes. Limped my rv to Treasure State Truck and Auto Repair. They found the actual infection the mass air flow sensor. The cost was 195.30 plus 74 for parts. I completed my trip from Whitehall to Seattle WA and back home to Arizona without any problems, infection eliminated. Yesterday I get a text from Dan the owner of Willards asking me how the repairs his shop did went. So I replied emailed them copies of the repairs done in Whitehall. Now remember they contacted me to check on their work. I expected that they would offer me some sort of refund but today Kevin tells me they did nothing wrong. I guess my rv got a 2nd infection. Treasure repair shop said it was "odd" for 2 o2 sensors to go bad at the same time and that the problem was before the o2 sensors which made sense. I would never take my vehicle to Willards Garage they talk a good game but their work is not good.

Update from last review: I had some major repairs done on my Explorer today (03.16.23) and the service is just as excellent as it's always been. I would still (and do!) unequivocally recommend them to anyone needing great, honest auto repair. I plan on driving my Explorer another 200,000 miles and am grateful to have Willard's as my mechanic place to go. The best in Billings!I would trust Willard's Garage with my grandmother's car! Marty and the rest of the crew are amazing. They have the latest in diagnostic technology and I always get a printout of all of the work they performed. Just good folks!!!Service: Auto maintenance

My diesel engine was a mess and another garage turned me away, I knew Willard s would take good care of me and I m sorry I didn t go there first. They welcomed me and my truck back, made thorough and complete repairs that I know they will stand behind. They communicated every step of the way. Awsome, Polite guys, my ignition went out in the on position, there go i could not trun my truck off. Called around in the morning and understandbly its 4 of july nobody could get me in for a week. I live 30 mins away from billings. They got me into today not thinking they'll get the work done till Wens/Thursday. They got it done today. Thank you again guys!!

I was recently in a car accident and I experienced excellent service from Craig and Dan. They gave me a comprehensive repair estimate and even worked my with insurance. I decided to buy another vehicle and they did a full used-vehicle examination and report, including notes about when to watch for issues at certain mileage. This made me feel comfortable buying the vehicle. They were timely, friendly, and reasonably priced. I d recommend them to anyone!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

We were traveling through Montana and needed our 34' coach serviced. We called here a couple days before arriving in Billings and made a appt for Friday, June 17, 2022. We arrived on Thurs late, just before they closed for the day. Before they left they hooked us up to electric, filled our water tank, and then left us for the night. They were SUPER DUPER!! The mechanic that took care of us on Friday was professional, courteous, and did excellent work. Thank you Willard's for a great on the road experience!!!Service: Oil change

While driving through Montana our RV breaks began having issues. I called Willards and not only did they get my RV fixed in less than 24hrs, they also let us plug in to shore power at their location so that we could camp the night before they were able to work on our rig. These dudes are solid and super wonderful to work with. Also, their shop is pretty damn cool. Thanks, Craig, Marty, and Daniel for being the best! My truck suddenly started making crazy sounds while driving cross country. Called them when I was 10 minutes away and they got me in right then, and had my axle and bearing fixed and ready to roll in 2 hours. They even gave me a lift into town so I wouldn t have to hang around the shop and wait. I have waited WEEKS to have work like this done at other shops I cannot express how grateful I am for the Willard s team :)

I just moved to Billings a few months ago and saw all of the wonderful reviews that Willard's Garage had and decided to give them a try. These guys are amazing! They're all personable and took the time to get to know me. They care about their customers and don't try to scam you. I've been to dealerships that overcharge and don't give you accurate pricing, but at Willard's they detail the cost out for you and explain things to you. Thank you for taking care of my car!

In late July 21, our rental motorhome had a fuel tank leak in Billings MT during our trip from NH to Yellowstone. We called at least 30 garages and no one can fit us in. Finally, we called Willard s and spoke with Dan. He was super helpful and got his crew to fix the leak the same day. Good customer service is hard to find nowadays but there are plenty left at Willard s Garage. Thank you, Dan, Marty, and the entire crew at Willard s.

They are very trustworthy and professional.i just love there honesty I'm taking a second vehicle to them on Monday.Well I picked up my second vehicle they did a remarkable job.i just love Marty he kept everything right in budget and is very friendly.and the Mechanic's are great at what they do.would recommend 100%. I only recently discovered Willard's, but I am so glad I did! When my car wouldn't start, they got to it quickly and asked me before doing anything, even making suggestions for more economical fixes. Jack also gave me some pointers to extend the life of my car. At no point did I feel judged for driving an old vehicle, which is something I've felt other places. I'd highly recommend this place for trustworthy service!

These guys are great. Brought my truck in for an oil change and check, I had clunk in the front end. Turns out a bolt had come loose (I think it was on a tire rod). They tightened it up and checked the alignment, no charge! They gave me a nice printout showing the alignment was good. I'll be back and I recommend them.

Been at same location for a very long time. They keep a great service record of all my cars. They get me in and out very fast. They stand behind there repair. They can work on all the nee cars and trucks. I just did my 100k service on my 2005 chevy 2500. Fluids flush new belts and hoses. Als we put breaks on now it like a new truck again

These guys are great. I needed new tires after the hugh snow storms we had in December. I called late friday afternoon, probably around 3 or 3:30. Not only did they have a great price on the tires (yes I did call around), but they got me in before 5 and had me back on the road by 5:30. So far these tires have been great. I haven't gotten stuck in the snow since.I've had other repairs done here and have always been impressed with their knowledge and service.I believe they do good work for a fair price. Personally I hate having to have my car worked on, but when I do, this is where I go.

My daughter and family recently moved to Billings from Denver and had been experiencing nagging problems with their Jeep. The Denver shops they had checked with were not very helpful, so I was referred to Willard's in Billings- who made repairs quickly and for a fair price. Great service, very helpful. Pulled into town with a Jeep issue. Only had a few days. They took it right in and found the problem. Took a few days but they didn t give up! Back on the road in no time. Thank you!

Willard's Garage in Billings put new links on my sway bar and fixed my air conditioner motor for $405.22, but now I can't drive the Ford Explorer at all. The tire on the driver's front side is loose and wobbly. My battery was also run down and my car was left in the parking lot next to them unlocked. Willard's said that my car was having new problems because it was old and had a lot of miles on it. Then they told me that by fixing the sway bar links it caused the car to be worse than when I brought it in. He was rude and even made me cry. He asked if I wanted him to take the links off and give me the $38.84 back for the part. I want to be able to drive my vehicle like I could before they worked on it. He even said, "Well at least the air works, right"...if I can't drive the vehicle, it does not matter if the air works or not. If I had been a man, they would have never spoke to me in such a condescending manner simply because I asked them to fix what they had obviously failed to do correctly in the first place.Willard's was very kind and accommodating until I handed them $405.22 in cash and asked them to fix their mistakes. These are not honest people.

After another local shop jerked me around for over a month, I called Willard's. Willard's verified the problem, ordered parts and had my truck repaired in less than a week. And (unlike the other guy) Willard's was great at communicating where they were at in the repair process. Skip the headache of the competitor and just go to Willard's for great service and timely repairs.

My RV broke down while I was traveling and the only place that I could get it towed to was this garage. They charged me $93 to tell me as much about what broke as I told them never moved the RV from where the tow truck dropped it and wanted to charge $16,000 to put a rebuilt motor in it. They claimed the only motor available to put in it cost $9,800 so I had the rv transported back to Minnesota. For $4,000 I am having a rebuilt motor put in it here. Even with the transport back to Minnesota from billings Montana I am paying half what they tried to charge me. This shop is a bunch of crooks that take advantage of situations stay away if possible.Service: Engine repair

I would give 0 stars if I could. After showing up to have my a.c. condenser replaced we were initially very happy with the repair work done which cost us close to 1000 dollars. After another long day of traveling we stopped for the night only to begin our next day of traveling without air conditioning. Fast forward, after traveling another 40 hours and over 2000 more miles WITHOUT air conditioning with my 6 year old son and my wife, I find out that the a.c. hose that connects to the condenser was "mangled" by Willard's garage. They offered to pay for the repair but were very indifferent to the suffering of my son and wife. After all of the stress of getting this situation settled I was informed by the shop here back in Texas, that the compressor has failed. Now I could understand if my vehicles a.c. was on the decline and headed out but this is a 2014 Nissan pathfinder. The a.c. compressor should last 8-10 years minimum. In short we went in for a repair the job was botched causing 2000 dollars worth of damage and Willard's garage is telling me that I am out of luck. Beware of this shop as they will not take responsibility for something that they damage.

Yesterday I took my car into Willard's Garage and it was by far the worst mechanic experience I have ever had! THEY WILL SCAM YOU! My car battery had repeatedly been dying, so after replacing the battery and the alternator and still having no luck, I took my car into Willard's Garage so they could diagnose the problem. They didn't even do a diagnostic test on my car, they just told me I needed a new battery, even though that's exactly what I had just replaced. I felt completely taken advantage of for being a female and not having automotive knowledge. My car was in there shop for 15 minutes and they charged me $100 to test my battery!!! I feel scammed and victimized. They were rude to me and made me feel taken advantage of and they didn't even do anything to fix my car. But they did offer to give me another battery for $300. Do not waste your money here.

The guys are awesome. I have a lifted Suburban that had serious issues, they came up with a plan of action and did it. Jack gave me a quote on new tires and stuck to the quote. Lift issues fixed and New tires! They have addressed my concerns and they will be getting my business in the future.

What I found nice about Willard's is that everyone is nice. Having a very busy work schedule and a husband that is just as busy, I could call Jack, tell him our problem and in most cases have the correct fix. For a women it was nice to see that he would not treat me like I did not know anything. From our Class C motorhome to our Truck so far everything has been wonderful. Willard and Jack are the best and can trust them with all our automotive work. If they cant do it they will recommend a company in town that can. Thanks Willard and Jack.
