Took them my 14 GMC for exhaust and let me tell you, I'm glad I did!! Sounds amazing only took them about an hour. The price was perfect excellent value. This is the best repair shop I have been to! They got me in right away in fixed my issues in a day. They are fast and friendly! I wanted a certain sound & size exhaust system installed on my 1968 F100 Ford pickup with a 429 engine. Ryan listened to my request, agreed with me on the components I wanted and did an excellent job installing it. The detail of installation, the support hangers to support the exhaust system, the whole package is exactly perfect. No other exhaust shop in town would do what I wanted. So I bought a used Toyota FJ Cruiser. Absolutely love this car, however it came with a pretty wimpy looking exhaust. I just googled an exhaust place. And luckily I find Shafer's. Ryan is a great mechanic who specializes in exhausts it seems like. For $300 he replaced my muffler and welded on a new exhaust tip and it took about 2-3 hours, pretty fast. He only charged $100 for service because the parts were $200. I'm only in Montana for a short time for work, but if I lived here I would always take my car here for service because Ryan does a great job, and he's a hard working good guy. Couldn't ask for better service here. Glad I could support a local small business.Service: Exhaust

My parents and I had Ole Shafer (and his dad before him) do almost all of our car and truck work. We decided to give Ryan a try and Ryan has been great. We've sent friends to him, too. He is fair and reasonable with his prices. Is very trustworthy. I discovered a stolen catalytic converter this morning, and after a few phone calls, I caught wind of this place.I talked to Ryan and had a new cat welded in and ready to go within just a couple hours, and at a great price. I Googled Shafers Auto and called. The guy answered and I made an appointment for my exhaust on my Jeep GC. Took the Grand Cherokee to him and told him I wanted it to have a rumble and he told me that I should only do one side of my exhaust rather than both sides because it might get too loud when driving for more than a few minutes.I'm soo happy I listened to him because I am happy with the job he did and how my Hemi sounds. I don't think I would have thought about the sound effect driving for hours.I literally asked a few other shops on prices to get my exhaust done and Shafers Auto saved me $200. Plus he helped me with my other vehicle that had a exhaust issue as well when I gave him my GC. Soo now I have both SUVs running better and sounding better because of him.I SAY THANK YOU. You can trust him to do right by you. And not charge you a arm and a leg for quality service.Service: Exhaust
