Kurt is a great guy to go to for service. We were in a pinch, being from out of town, not familiar with the area and towing a new to us trailer. He was able to quickly adjust our hitch height and gave great advice on easier hitching techniques, recommended upgrades without being pushy and even suggestions on solar improvements. He was even dog friendly! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Kurt if we're ever in Billings again or recommend him to anyone needing prompt and professional service.

Kurt is the man to go and see with all your trailer needs! We had a leaf spring issue on a trip across the country and Kurt got our trailer straight in and was under it checking out the probable within minutes. He fixed up the broken shackle quickly and had us on our way with great advice in under an hour! My wife wants to drive back from VA every time we need work doing to see Kurt!

RV broken? Then this is where you need to take it! Kurt and his son are an excellent team each bringing their specialized knowledge to the business. Not only are they experienced and proficient, but they are actually passionate about RV s and upgrades. They did an excellent job on my solar install, and furthermore, they thoroughly explained how it works, even using a more sophisticated install on another unit to showcase what is possible.I ve been taking my RVs here for about four years now and Kurt is always able to pull through. Even when the big dealers are backlogged for months and/or give you the run-around on what the actual issue is, or repair it in a sub-par way, Kurt is able to get to my RV in a timely fashion and fix the actual root problem right, the first time. It is hard to plus Steve Clark's review below, but I will try. We were two days into a one month trip and our toilet in our fifth wheel broke. We were 1350 miles into a 2300 mile destination for work. I had no time to waste. I called Kurt and I couldn't believe he said come on over and we will look after you. Literally, I was there in 45 minutes later and the new toilet installed in 40 minutes or less. Not only are Kurt and Matt the greatest I have ever worked with, they do not over charge and by all means they could for the level of service they provide. If there was a sixth star I would have highlighted that. I only wish I lived near Kurt for anything that happened to the trailer in the future!

When you're 2000 miles from home and broken down, the last thing anyone wants to hear is "we're too busy to get to you ". Kurt and his son Matt definitely understand this. Even though they were booked solid for months, they offered to help us. In a matter of minutes, what we feared was a disaster, they had repaired and had us on our way. I am eternally grateful for these people's generosity and sense of integrity. It's really nice to know there are still folks like this in the world today. Thank you again gentlemen, it was a true pleasure in making your acquaintance. May good luck always smile upon you!

Kurt is a problem solver and hard worker. His customer service is excellent. While traveling, we had an RV issue. We called multiple RV dealers and repair providers. None could help. Then we called Kurt and he was able to provide the help we needed. His work is exceptional. Highly recommend Kurt's Repair!

This father and son team are incredible! We needed a quick repair on water pipe for gray water. They said to drop it off and they would do the best they could to fix it in time for our trip. That was Tuesday. This is Thursday. We are on our way home with a job well done on our camper. These two are extremely nice, kind, understanding, and capable. We highly recommend Kurt's Repair. Will definitely return for their help if the need arises.

We had a microwave that was coming loose and out of its support bracket. Kurt took a quick look and said he would take care of it right now! Within 10 minutes he secured the microwave with new and better screws and we were on our way! We will definitely come back if we need anything else fixed!

The guys at this shop are AMAZING!!! They got us in on an emergent RV storage compartment collapse where our solar batteries were - they completely astonished me how they built a whole new undercarriage basically and did it same day these guy s truly are a great example of caring for the customer and what they do!!! Thank you is not enough for saving our day!!!!

My family and I are moving to South Alaska from Texas and we bent our cargo trailer axles going through a snowstorm in Central Colorado. I couldn't even find someone to work on the trailer in all of Wyoming or most of Montana. I called Kurt and even though he had other projects he fit us in. He and his son had us back on the road in a day and a half and the service was extremely affordable. I will be making future trips from Texas back North with a trailer, I will be back through Billings for maintenance at Kurt's on the way. This is a great family shop and I would recommend it to any travelers I meet! Thanks Kurt!

While Kurt's couldn't actually perform any repairs to our coach he did recommend a mechanical shop that could. They steered me straight so I'm sure he will do the same for you. Thanks for giving us the H U for the Hot Rod Garage.

Kurt s work and attention to detail are amazing! I was taken care of in a timely matter dealing with some waterlines and a leaky old roof on a camper. The cost for the work was extremely fair and I am definitely going back if I have any other work needed.

Had a number of RV issues while driving through Billings. Called Kurt and he said he could take a look the next morning. 4 issues all addressed (well, one wasn t solved, but strong attempt with a good next step suggested) in one short visit, which was AWESOME. Kurt and his son were super nice and you could tell that they really wanted to get thing right. Much appreciated, and although I don t hope to have RV issues again, but if I do, hope I m near Billings!

Kurt is a very knowledgeable guy! He was able to assess what I needed done, give me an estimate and get the job done - a few weeks ahead of schedule! But wait - there's more..... He was well UNDER his original estimate! It is SO nice to know that the world still has some folks with old fashioned business morals and integrity. I will be using Kurt for all of my repair needs and you should too!

Kurt took care of my bearings last summer and charged a very fair price. I called him recently because I couldn't get my brake lights to work. Instead of me hauling my camper out to his repair shop, he suggested I check the fuse box in my truck. That was all it took. My two dealing with Kurt lead me to believe that I can trust him and that he will be fair. I will take all of my camper needs to him.

Great help with our motorhome, 30 amp electrical outlet had shorted out and melted! Just got us right in and replaced the plug in half an hour. We also bought a surge protector from them. Great service, fair price and I'm so thankful!

I was passing through from the east coast and the left rear turn signal wasn t working on my travel trailer. The owner told me to come on in as I was arriving into town at 3pm on a Friday. He quickly fixed the problem despite the extreme heat and working me in on a Friday afternoon. He saved my trip. And just a genuinely good guy.

Kurt is knowledgeable, dependable, honest and will accommodate out of town new customers to get them back on the road again, like me. Kurt was kind enough to come to the place I was staying and no charges. I ve taken my camper there a couple times besides having him install a fifth wheel kit into my pickup. Can t find a better independent repair service for your RV needs

Kurt is absolutely fantastic. I had a tire blow on my RV taking a bunch of electrical and body work with it, and Kurt had me up and running within a day. His price was half of what other shops quoted me, and they said I'd have to wait 2 weeks! If you've got an RV emergency, don't bother with anyone else.

Needed to have the motor on my Kwikee Steps, (3 steps,-model 25) replaced. I had the motor but found that, unlike the other Kwikee Models, the bolts holding the motor were not received by a machine threaded plate but had nuts that were inaccessible without removing the motor table.. Time to call for help.Called Kurt and told him my plight and that I would be passing through Billings in three days He said come on by. Dropped off the Motorhome, went and had a great breakfast on Kurt's recommendation at the Hit the Spot Cafe. Returned to a completed job paid for 1 hour labor at a reasonable rate and we were on our way.. He's a little of the main drag but worth the trip. Thanks KurtServices: Electrical, Body & Trim

Kurt helped us with our propane issues, he allowed us to bring our RV in the same day I called and diagnosed and replaced the regulator and was very reasonable with the fee he charged, he saved our vacation trip after traveling from Virginia. Our Motorhome was at Pierce RV in billings, montana for months doing warranty work and we were charged $323 for things not covered!! . We picked it up and water leaked from the slide and lower storage. We called Pierce and they said we can have you drop it off in 3 weeks and we need time to review and time to order parts without looking at it or rushing us in. Keep in mind our family member just purchased a used RV from them!!! I called all over Montana and only RV tech guy availible was a mobile person that could come out the next day. We needed this fixed because we needed to take a trip in a few days with our Cancer stricken mother to see family. Well we found Kurts repair. I sent him a text on Easter Sunday and got a repsonse to call the next day. Called next day and got an appt. He and his amazing tech person found were the leak was and not only fixed the leak but found many other connections lose.I highly highly recommend this place for RV work. I have family/friends with Motorhomes and will telll them to go here. I give him 5 stars!!This our second 5 star posting forKurts Repair. After fixing our leakingWater pump, our large single slide outWould not retract. Kurt parked it in hisLot and waited until we ordered a replacement part to be shipped 2nd day Air by UPS. the part arrived at his shop and he and his Ace tech installed the same day as delivery!I belong to a National Motorhome travel forum and many of these campers visit Montana.I posted kurts information on our siteAnd my fellow campers recorded his number and thanked us.

Kurt was super knowledgable about all repairs. He was very busy and still fit me in. I took an old vintage camper there and he did a great job. He was kind, patient with all my questions and very reasonable charges for his work

Excellent service! No middle man to deal with, you talk directly to the guys doing the work and they are more than happy to explain everything and tell you your options. The last place I went to was horrible. They charged a fortune, did subpar work, and had not even started the work the day I was scheduled to pick it up. These guys did some of the smaller work for no charge and went over everything they did with me after. Less than a week from the time I went to them until it was finished. I will not be going to anyone but these guys.
