We developed a strong smell of gas in our vehicle while on a skiing trip out to Big Sky from Minnesota. We contacted Canyon Auto and they were able to get our vehicle into their shop within one day. Their mechanic, Mason, was able to readily diagnose the problem and promptly get it fixed, despite some challenges with rust and other obstacles. He was very thorough and competent, and we were extremely pleased with his/their service. The vehicle was ready to return to Minnesota in a timely manner, and the cost of the repair was less than anticipated. Great work, guys!Dave L.

Andrew the driver (and owner?) was extremely polite, helpful and patient! Canyon Towing really came to our rescue for our stalled F250. Broke down on HWY 287 near the Hegben dam, and took us into West Yellowstone for repair parts. I need to get out of the snow. I called at at 11:30am and by the time they got to me was 3pm. As far as cost it was aaa. Thank god. When they did get there they were nice and cleaned up and fixed my car a bit so that was nice.

DISHONEST BUSINESS - DO NOT USE. Canyon Auto was supposed to inspect a vehicle for me and I paid them $75 to do so. However, they failed to properly inspect the vehicle and it broke down on my drive home and left me with a bill over $30k. Take your business anywhere else. Canyon Auto has refused to accept any responsibly despite their horrible inspection. These crooks should be jailed!

Had a flat and these guys were great. They patched the tire up while we snowboarded and even lent me a Jack and a torque wrench so I could put the tire back on. This was especially helpful a thousand miles from home.

I wanted share that Phil w/ Canyon Towing was awesome. I was stuck on the mountain and even after someone else helped get out ,he still came to make sure I got turned around and safely down to town. He went way up and beyond. Thanks again

This place is great. I was in a pinch to get out of town and even though the mechanic was swamped, he agreed to take a look at my van for me. He was so nice and even showed me how he was making the fix. Got me in and out for cheap because he knew I was in a tough spot. Very nice guys!

My car slipped out of gear two miles from Big Sky and wouldn't go back in. Mike picked it up on Sunday while I was skiing, had it diagnosed Monday morning, then had the parts and the repair done in time for us to drive home Monday night. Turned what started out as an absolute bummer into no problem at all. Couldn't be more greatful they saved our trip (and my car). Thank you!

I don't usually write these things but I had to this time! The man who came to tow my car, David, ended up saving my ass all day. Changed my tire, sold me a tire, gave me ride back up to the mountain and just all around great dude. David man don't know if me and my pup would've been able to stay sane that day if it weren't for you, thank you beyond measure! hope you see this.

Had our Subaru in there all day last week for a slow leaking tire. Picked it up, seemed fine. Two days later it was flat again. Filled it up in Big Sky for our drive home to SLC and took it to the tire shop here. They said nothing had been done to it. I plugs, no patches....nothing. Looks like we payed 25 bucks for them to put air in our tire. Pretty sad.My experiences through Montana had always been great. Even had a mechanic loan us his truck to fish all day while they worked on our motorhome. Not happening at this place apparently.Hopefully it was the "tire guy" that had to come take care of it and not the shop. Just fair warning on this place. All they had to do was tell us the truth.

Called to have my brake pads and rotors changed. I was pretty sure that the rotors were warped. Mike the mechanic called me and said that my pads were still at 80% and the rotors were looking smooth. He then asked me what the problem was. It was surging as truck's brakes were applied, which indicates a warped rotor.Now a different mechanic could have just put in the pads and rotors, and charged me. Mike wanted to make sure that he wasn't doing un-necessary work. This is an honest mechanic and highly recommended.He did replace the pads and rotors at a very reasonable price, and it did solve the problem. Brakes are working perfectly, especially coming down the mountain.These are busy and trying times, and with Covid they were cautious and masked. I'm repeating this, but highly recommended.

I was having a funny noise in my van and I went out of the blue the one day we were in Big Sky to get it checked out. They looked it over some, put transmission fluid in it for me and didn't charge me a thing. They were friendly and helpful even though they were busy.

I had a White Nissan Frontier Rental on its side about 15 ft into the ditch. They winched it back over and out in about 2 hours with heavy traffic and used another truck to ditect traffic. Then used a flat bed truck to haul to thier shop about 8 miles away. I understand tows in the mountains won't be cheap and this one was under $600. It was a fair price that I could justify easy. I would use them anytime I needed over the crooks at Big Sky Towing.

Went above and beyond to help us find and replace a flat tire that was hard to find while we were in town for a few days. Quick, helpful service. Made sure our car was safe to drive before we left.

Charged me over $500 for a tow near Big Sky Resort. This company sucks, wife of the owner is a serial liar. I'd rate them 0/5 if I could, worst towing experience I've ever had. DO NOT CALL THEMService: Car towingService: Car towing

Do not use this place under any circumstance they did not do the repair they said they would do they Mickey Mouse it. they also caused more damage and refused to repair the damage they caused horrible place do not use it you will regret it. They will be hearing from my attorney.

Horrible business. They will do whatever they can to make an extra dime. They will rip you off without hesitation. Call someone in Bozeman for real service
