I have never dealt with a better shop. He got my Yamaha R6 taken care of in a timely manner well going above and beyond in his repairs to make sure that it could be used to its full potential. Strongly recommend.

I was reading several of these reviews and I echo their sentiment. Arron / SDS is exactly what the vast majority of people are hoping to stumble upon in a mechanic: extremely knowledgeable, accountable and very organized, quick to book and turnaround, and fair on pricing. 100% recommend SDS Powersports in Belgrade. Aaron is incredibly professional, honest, thorough and operates at the highest level of integrity. Aaron is not only very knowledgeable but extremely organized and methodical when it comes to engine repairs. He keeps awesome notes and will recommend repairs based on his professional experience. Despite the difficulty of my project bike, and all the issues it had, Aaron was able to get my bike running like new again. The bike was in great shape when I received it and runs amazing. It was required to do a full top and bottom end build. Aaron was very precise and made sure every part was correct for the new build. Aaron is incredibly thorough with his work, also extremely honest and forthcoming about making sure that he communicates with who he works with in order to be on the same page with your budget and priorities. Even after he did an amazing job on my bike he remained invested to answer a couple of questions I had. If you want your bike to run its absolute best, SDS is the place for you. Aaron goes to all ends to get parts, find information and make sure your machine is dialed. I cannot recommend him enough, he is one of the few places in this town that provides a very thorough service done with care and a high level of expertise and get this....all for a very fair price. I needed a new rear tire for my sport tour bike and was on the road on a multi state ride. After calling multiple powersports in Spokane and Coeur d' Alene I looked for shops in Bozeman and SDS was recommended. From start to finish, Aaron was responsive and meticulously involved in my tire order and service. Aaron kept me abreast on the shipping status and expected timing of when the tire would be expected so I could properly plan the remaining 500 miles I needed to cover to get to his shop. Once I arrived, Aaron put my bike first in line since I was on the road and made quick and thorough work of my bike and even fixed a couple other minor things that were discovered while the bike was serviced. Hands down, the best experience in a moto shop I have ever had. Aaron even followed up via email on the service he provided to make sure I was happy with the machine. Outstanding and proffessional.

SDS is the most knowledgeable, friendly, honest, powersports repair shop I ve dealt with. I had called most of the shops / dealers in Bozeman just looking to service KTM AER forks on a snowbike. The first time I called SDS to get a quote, Aaron took the time out of his busy day to explain a lot of technical info and give recommendations, even though I wasn t even a customer yet. I was sold.There are other local shops which also have great reviews and service, but I really appreciate the level of customer engagement, technical advice, and being able to learn.Aaron is super knowledgeable, has a lot of experience, is very plugged in to the snowbiking community, and helps build connections. Would 100% recommend, especially for snowbikes.

I was traveling cross country on my motorcycle and needed new tires and an oil change. I called Erin at SDS several days before traveling through Bozeman. Erin was very responsive and worked with Aaron to research what 90/10 tires could be available when I arrived. Erin arranged for expedited shipping and Aaron called the scheduled morning the tires arrived and told me he was ready to begin work as soon as I arrived.The bike was on the lift literally a couple minutes after I arrived and Aaron began work. As someone who does a fair amount of mechanical work himself (e.g., throttle body sync, carb tear downs, oil and filter changes, harness wiring, etc.), I think I can spot quality workmanship. Aaron is an excellent mechanic and a very knowledgeable engineer. He did excellent work and was careful to check the torque settings on all fasteners. He spend time insuring the new valve stems were well seated and with a locking nut. This quality work is critical when your life depends on it as on a motorcycle. He also spent time insuring the wheels were properly balanced and the chain tension was correct.The pricing was very fair and I was so confident in the work that I had no reservations heading immediately out on the road.Aaron even called a couple days later to check how things were going. When is the last time your service shop did that!All in all an excellent experience and I highly recommend both of them to help with any of your power sports work.Several thousand miles later and the new tires are smooth as glass. Great work!

Aaron and SDS are a rare find in truly exceptional Motorsport service. He was able to help me in a bind before a big trip and creates a very personable experience along with it. Met Arron at a trail head one morning before riding, we got to talking and he gave us a business card... a few weeks later we got a older bike that wasn t running and decided to give him a call. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and we had it in the shop a few days later. Runs better than ever and he also gave us some advise to keep it running good for years to come. He is very professional, extremely well knowledgeable, and just down right friendly and a good guy. I will always take my machines to him and recommend him to any and all. I d give them 6 stars if I could! Great family owned small business with crazy attention to detail and great customer service. He took the time to show me pictures and go over all the maintenance items thoroughly. They even got me in the day I called!!! Everyone else was booked for a month. I would highly recommend SDS Powersports! Very knowledgeable and helpful and detailed!

SDS Powersports is my first choice for service in SW Montana. Aaron's attention to detail is exactly what you would hope for in a mechanic. He is organized, efficient with his time, and precise in his work, and with cost. I've been taking Aaron my dirtbikes and snowbike going on 4 years now. Always great experiences and I am very pleased with the bottom line. I highly recommend SDS Powersports for the best service and undoubtedly the best expierence. His Engineering Degree and passion for his work are a rare find.
