Rooms were clean and tidy. No AC, but fan in room. Whole place is newly remodeled and in good condition. Beds were comfy and linens clean. Very simple hotel room. Not a ton of options in east glacier/Babb and this was a good choice.Walkability: Not walkable to any restaurants

Thank you Billy and Nikki for an absolute amazing place to stay! Absolutely clean and was treated like family. Restaurant is closed but calf roping on Wednesday night means eating plate sized sandwiches made by Nikki. 1/8th the cost of staying in Glacier, 30 minutes from East entrance and the nicest people you will ever meet! No tv but who needs one? Has internet and shared microwave. They are upgrading lower campground to include awesome horse trailer lots with individual shaded fenced in area for horses. I ll not stay anywhere else when vacationing there. All our thanks! Mindy and Doug

Great location for East Glacier NP, convenient for day trip to Waterton Lakes NP in Canada. Clean and simple rooms like a national park cabin. Reasonable rate for a motel that has a 4 month season.Rooms: Simple rooms with fridge, open window for overnight cooling. Starlink wifi.Nearby activities: Very closet to Many Glacier and on the road to Make Waterton Lakes in Canada.Noteworthy details: Very quiet, gravel road is maintained by county. On Wednesday night there is a cattle roping competition next door.

Wonderful! We had several mishaps on this trip and I was luckily able to find this little gem. Because of some of our mishaps, we arrived late. They were kind and had things waiting for us. Room is clean. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is the walls are thin and uninsulated... you can literally hear your neighbor's conversations. Definitely will keep in mind, though, as it looks to be horse friendly

Initially we were worried about this place but it turned out to be nice. Well, it is very simplistic. It doesn t even have a TV. But there is internet, so our kids were fine in terms of entertainment. There was mini fridge in the room and microwave in the common area. There was a heater but I don t think there was an AC. But you don t really need an AC. We stayed in August and open windows were enough to cool down the room if needed. Most importantly it was very clean! The linens, bathroom, everything looked pretty clean. We also felt very safe during our 3 nights stay. I spoke to several people and nobody really had any complaints. Also, the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Great location to the north east part of Glacier National Park and just a few miles from the border. It is nothing to look at on the outside, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. No TV, but the Internet was recently upgraded and works great. It is definitely in the middle of nowhere, and be prepared to next to nowhere to eat, but if you want to save money and stay in a great location, you can't go wrong with this place.

Was great for our group of 17 pple. Basic room was clean- and they let us use their great bar for our family party. Very near the entrance to Glacier.

After a string of Hampton Inns Hooks Hideaway was a welcomeand gritty oasis. The bunkhouse rooms all have their own privies and privacy, yet the thin walls and heavy doors let you know when neighbors come and go. The layout is conducive for talking with other visitors, or not, like the BnBs of the 90's where a common room became a social scene. Hooks is rough around the edges but man oh man you could do worse. The location to east Glacier and the Going to the Sun Road is as good as it gets (8 miles?) and less travelled than the western approach. We loved our time there and will miss more than any of the other 15 places we stayed during our 22-day roadie.

Nice clean rooms and bathrooms. However not many amenities, such as tv or microwave. It is quite a far drive from the highway but that does mean very little noise. It is nice to be so close to Glacier national park though.

Stayed three nights while we visited Glacier. Motel looks rustic from the outside and is 3 miles off main road. This is a gem of a place to stay if you are looking for a nice clean place to enjoy Glacier National. Owners are very nice and willing to accommodate your every need. Pros good price, clean rooms, close to entrance to Many Glacier, laundry, great hospitality, bar open sometimes on weekends with live music and commons area with TV if you need one. Cons poor internet service. No TV in rooms, but what do you need that for? You are in one of the greatest places in the country for outdoor eye candy .Thank you to the Powell s for their hospitality. Will definitely stay here again if I get back the area.

We arrived at 11 pm. It was a bit difficult to get to in dark, but offline google maps help you get through. No network here, so be careful. When we arrived, we found our key and were pleasantly surprised to see the room. Clean, heater and decent wifi in middle of nowhere. What more can you ask for! It's difficult to find accommodation on the east side of glacier, this is amazing location to access many glacier and east side of gnp. Highly recommend!

Clean rooms Friendly staff. Stayed 5 nights. Get a room away from the entrance doors. The other guests were not good about the door closing slowly. Very comfortable beds after a long hike. Good location to get to the park.

Very nice simple place. Room was clean, the front desk lady was nice and caring. One thing that needs improvement is the share fridge. It can use a bigger size instead of a mini one. Make sure to download offline map cause the connection can be sketchy.

This was booked months ago before the fires started. Because the fires and smoke got so bad we tried to cancel the booking for health reasons. Being elderly the smoke is too dangerous to us. They would not work with us and reverse the booking charges. Not even a discount on the booking fee. The owner was completely unsympathetic of our circumstances and rude about it. I find it to be abusive to the elderly, and just plainly unacceptable. This place needs to be boycotted for the way they treat the patrons.

Clean. No frills. Stayed here one night right before a 6-day, 5-night backpacking trip with fam and friends. Worked for the 4 of us (husband, daughter, brother, and myself). Enough room to do some last minute packing. Furnishings seem fairly newish though decor inside and out are very utilitarian.

Nice and quiet away from the crowds at Glacier. Close to the Chief Mountain Hwy- a beautiful drive. Also, not far from Many Glacier. Not a lot of amenities but comfortable.

I loved this place. Low price on beer and stay which makes me happy. When it says Hideaway it really is one. Horse back riding too. I was very pleased. I roped a calf for the first time there. Super friendly.

No tv, no windows in small dark rooms. No meals, as advertised. Very isolated. When we tried to get info by email or phone for 2 days, no answer.

It is clean & friendly, all the basics nothing fancy. It's not the Hilton or Super 8, but if you need a place to stay it works.
