Buckhorn is a bar and tasty restaurant. The burgers are huge & tasty. Very big burgers, like the racks On these elk, antelope & deer.Later on, we both noticed, mouthed were dry & needed more water, so from previous experience this is due to higher than normal salt content in their food. Yes, it tasted great, but we know this sodium content affects us long term.Friendly waitress who was very good at insuring prompt service. Thank you!Love to stop by here if it were local to where we are most of the time.

Great staff and tasty food. But what I really like is the Casino Room - off on one side of the bar. It is small, with 8 or so machines that are in process of being updated. Games are a great line up with high payout for both keno and reels. The locals that play there are fun and enjoy interacting . My favorite place in all of Montana to gamble.

We accidentally bumped into this place for lunch, during our drive from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park. The interior decoration and atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. The fried onion rings and hot wings are the best I have had for quite a while. The fried cod however, is over fried and not fresh. There are also a few files buzzing around, which is kind of annoying.

Augusta, Montana is a tiny tiny cattle ranching town! I think the population is just over 300! We didn't think we would find something like this but we were greatly surprised! Chicken and jojo's didn't disappoint! The waitress was awesome and funny and the food was perfect! This place drew the locals which is always a good sign. Loved it!

This place was definitely off the beaten path for us on our way to Glacier National Park. But so glad we stopped. Such a quaint family owned bar/restaurant since 1959. Great beer choices, great food and great service. Don t expect this to be like a fast food stop, here in this cute town of 300 people, you are their time. But a fun time! Stop if you can.

Just what you'd expect from a small town bar and burger joint. The people are very friendly and the food is good. Portion sizes are large. Four stars based on alternative options within 100 miles.

My wife read good reviews so my family and I stopped in. My boys and I got the bacon cheese burger and my angel ordered the BLT. Everything was super great - some of the best burgers we've had. Same for the BLT.

It was ok! Nice people, okay food. Big floor plan for ample room/sitting. We had to send multiple dishes back for poor cooking. We had 13 people eating with appetizers burgers pizza and steak. Not sure about a repeat visit!

Roasted chicken and fries were excellent. Chicken was juicy, lots of flavor. Fries were thick and actually tasted like potatoes. Every sit/table was full when I was there, very busy but that didn't impact the good service. Saw a couple acts of kindness amongst the locals that were dining there. I stopped in many towns while thru hiking the CDT, I must say Augusta has the friendliest people along the entire trail.

Great old Montana bar setting, worth the stop after a camping or backpacking trip into the Bob. We spent some time in the Benchmark area and were ready for some real food and red meat.Buckhorn did not disappoint! Good prices, great service, and one of the best burgers I've had from a restaurant in some time. If you're near the area, you owe it to yourself to swing by and enjoy some tasty grub.I am beyond content with our time there and money spent. In an era where things are costing too much for what you get, that's saying something.

Great vibes, fast service and cold beers! The burger was big and delicious. Fries are great and give the cheesy jalape�o tots a try! We re on our way through town but would definitely stop here again!

I got a take out bacon cheese burger, it was perfectly grilled and seasoned. One of the better burgers I ever have eaten. It hit the spot perfectly after four days of hiking.

Last time I ate there they served my husband and I both jet black burgers and the buns were black around the edges. They were so burnt!! So disappointed.

Best burger I've had in a long time. Spent a few hours in Augusta doing some shopping and the delicious aroma of grilled burgers brought me in the door for lunch. Enjoyed it so much, I brought my guys back for dinner. They agreed that the burgers were large, juicy and delicious.

Always a good choice if I m in town. Don t make it back to Montana much any more (I m from GF) but love to swing through the Augusta area when I do. Great folks here as usual!
