This place is awesome! Affordable and actually care! They even have true crime on(and free range of the remote) while you wait. Although I chose to take a walk around town and get my steps in, they were more than welcoming!

Had a pulley break on I-70 just outside Wright City, MO. Called two other shops that were no help. Then I called Gen's and talked to Brad. Limped my car to their shop and found them sympathetic and helpful. Fair rates. Good service. Don't waste time calling the other guys. Call Gen's first.

This shop should be shut down it is ran by people who don t know what they are doing. Customer service is great, but that is not. Why you go to a mechanic shop the mechanics there do not know what they re doing. I don t know where they are hired from, if you bring your vehicle here it will end up worse than whenever you brought it there. Nobody there knows what they re doing. It is the absolute worst mechanic shop that I ve ever been to in my entire life I went there for them to fix my brakes. Emergency brake was never fixed. My vehicle was in it out of there for a month. never fixed never any offer of money back for them never fixing the things that I paid them to fix the kids that they have working there don t know anything do not bring your vehicle to the shop ever go somewhere else cheap is not better. You will pay a lot of money for things it won t be fixed, the worst shop that I have ever been to in my life. I am telling you this, so you won t waste your money there even if it is a little bit they re not going to fix it maybe if you were in their family they will hook you up other than that they are a money grab mechanic shop with mechanics who do not know what in the hell they are doing they will ruin your vehicle stay away from the shop. Trust me every single thing that I had them. Do they messed up on my vehicle everything if you cherish your vehicle and you want to live do not bring your vehicle to this place . I had to post one star otherwise I couldn t post it I would give them a -0 on everything. Do not go here.

While traveling across the state, my family and I ran into car troubles out in Wright City. Luckily we ended up at Gens Auto & Tire. Although, we weren't able to get in right away for a fix because of the holiday week and low staff, they were able to quickly diagnose the issue. Gens offered to help us in a weeks time but instead referred us to a business that was able to help us that day.

I have had 3 inspections done for my family this year. I was a mechanic many years ago and do most of my own work. I was also a licenced inspection mechanic. I have always been treated fairly and felt like any conversations about my vehicles were honest concerns. I also don't feel like they are a business that looks for things to supplement their business. They are always busy and I have always heard good reviews as well. If I needed any major repairs I was unable to do myself, I would trust them to work on my vehicle. They are friendly and have been reasonable with scheduling and prompt when I had an appointment. The owner also thrives to be on the lower end of the hourly rate scale which is noteworthy, considering the price of today's repairs.

They were able to get me in on short notice, install some parts on my truck and perform an alignment. They did a fantastic job and my truck looks and runs great. Very affordable and great staff. My daughter took her car here. She had a problem that we thought could have been a big and expensive problem. However, it turned out to be a small quick fix. They could have easily misrepresented this and gotten a lot of cash quick. However, this place has people that have integrity. Finding a shop of this caliber is rare. I highly recommend them for all of your auto needs.

Highway shop that wouldn't do my alternator that day. I expressed that I was from five states away and was three hours from my boys bachelor party. I offered to pay for the job, 900 dollars and also pay one of his guys 300 to do it that day. The owner said "yes I dont let my guys work off the clock"... he had no regard for myself or his employees...other than the lady behind the desk who was more than pleasant. I would not recommend Gens to anybody broke down in Wright City. You're better off walking.

Best experience at an auto body shop I have ever had!! I was on my way to Mizzou from St. Louis, and Dobbs didn't correctly secure my skid plate after my oil change the day before, so it was came off and started dragging on one side. I called Gens frantically and they were able to get me in immediately even though they were EXTREMELY busy!! They secured the skid plate in less than 20 minutes and didn't even charge me! They had the absolute nicest staff, both the front desk workers and the handymen. If I lived around here I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have been doing business with Gens Auto and Tire Shop for several years. I have referred several people there. I have bought tires I have had a transmission work done and I have had oil changes I have had radiator work done. If you're looking for honest place of business that has integrity then this is the place to go for work on your cars or trucks! I have even sent my daughter there by herself and she was treated with the utmost respect honesty and integrity. If you want great service at an affordable rate this is the place to go!!

I love to come here!!! Customer service is amazing!!! Mike always makes sure things are right!! Michelle is one of the most amazing woman i have ever known!!! They never charge over or charge for things that dont need fixed. Thank you Gens !!!!

My opinion is a bit bias, Mike and I have been friends for some time and now I'm employed by him but I have and still do believe this is a fair and honest business. We are all people simply doing the best we can to provide the best service we can for our customers.

I have ALWAYS had great service and good pricing from this outfit. They always let me know what it's gonna cost BEFORE they start any actual repairing of stuff after finding what stuff needs repairing. Good folks.

Trustworthy, fair, and knowledgeable. All that you could want in a mechanic. I ve had issues with my older suv and Gen s has been a great help in fixing my car. Mike is personable and able to answer all my questions! Even assisting me with checking out a car I wanted to buy from a private dealer, and giving me a professional opinion I can trust. Thank you!! i was on the way from Kirkwood Missouri to Columbia Missouri with a flat tire and had my spare on it. No one in the area would take care of it before my meeting time. They all told me an hour to more than an hour or next day wait. the people at Gens took care of me so well they squeezed me in and got me to my meeting on time and safely! Thank you so much for all your help and wonderful customer service! I will go there for my tire and auto needs no matter what ,even though it's about 45 minutes from my place!

I have been taking my car to this shop for about 8 or 9 years now. I love the customer service here. The owner Mike is a great and honest mechanic who knows what he's doing. I highly recommend this shop.

Dan was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure I had my flat tire replaced as quickly as possible at a fair price. All of the staff members were kind and knowledgable. Overall an honest, trustworthy auto shop!

I use Mike and his team to maintain my 2 personal vehicles and our company's delivery car. We put almost 5000 miles on the delivery car every month; they have kept it running long past it's prime and are always on top of warning us whenever they see an issue about to arise. This prevention has kept our drivers from being stranded on the side of the road hours from home.The fixed our bumper after a fender bender. They repaired our A/C. They fixed countless popped tires.Mike came in one Saturday and looked at a suspicious oil leak on my jeep even though they weren't open. We were about to take a trip to Tennessee and he volunteered to give it an inspection and let us know if it was safe to drive.I can not say enough good things about this place. Small town auto repair, but I used to drive from Ballwin to Wright City to use this place.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

My tire was flat from a screw. I called and was told to bring it by anytime. They were courteous, fast, and affordable. Best experience I have had at any shop thus far. I recommend Gens Auto and Tire to everyone. This is the place I will go to for now on!

This place is great. The one single person who gave them a lousy review isn't thinking clearly. 1st off- I would be happy if I had my vehicle at a shop and they told me they couldn't figure it out, rather then just throwing parts at it and hoping for the best. This shows me that they are a trustworthy, honest group of guys that would rather tell you they couldn't find the issue then froviosly spend your money.2nd - intermittent vehicle problems happen all the time. Maybe, just maybe, the vehicle was running fine when they were looking at it.

From large to small, these guys really can do it all. At a reasonable price too.Had a 2003 Durango in for repairs and was very pleased with the prompt repairs and never felt as if I was being taken advantage of.Also had to remove a license plate that was stuck onto another vehicle by rusted bolts. Was dealing with a broken wrist and lacked the proper wrench to get it done. Took it over and one of their guys came right out and got the plate off for me. No cost. Then today I was over again because of a headlamp alignment issue and then helped me fix this as well at no cost.I highly recommend you give them a shot the next time you are in need of maintenance or repairs. They are the epitome of a great small time business and an asset to our small community.

They are supposed to be master mechanics but cant figure out why a early 2000s car has a mushy brake pedal. They charged 15 dollars for some brake fluid on top of the labor bill and fixed nothing. This place is a joke.

When I needed an inspection, the gentleman (Lorne) was prompt in attending to me as a customer . Gave mean appt time that suited my needs and after the inspection gave me direct answers that answered all my questions.

I have been in the automotive repair industry for over 25 years . I am now a service manager for a commercial truck dealership. Class 8 trucks ( big rigs) When I need something for my personal vehicles that I am unable to perform such as tires alignment etc I use gens automotive. I like them enough i have started using them for our 6 delivery vehicles as well . Thanks to Mike and his crew.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ive taking three different vehicles up there to have work done. And all three times they couldn't find the problem. Had to take it elsewhere. I wouldn't let they guys change a lightbulb let alone work on another one of my cars
