Had to take my car there Monday to put in a battery that was purchased at a local auto parts store last Saturday .I slept thru the alarm and didn't even get it there until after 9am. They were fast and put it all back together for me even though I didn't have an appt. Thank you Morlan Shell Toyota and Thank you Jake and Rick. I'm so happy with my new to me Ford.

I hate to say anything too negative because Toyota of West plains is still what I think the best Toyota dealer in the region. However, much like my purchasing experience, my first service experience with that department was only okay. I made an appointment a week in advance and tried to give details about what I needed done. Yet when I showed up the first question asked was why I was in today. One of the reasons I had come in is to get the rust plugs put on my car. They were supposed to be on my car when I picked it up but like many other things were simply left in the glove box. I was assured that in addition to my other service and oil change that that would be taken care of. Fast forward about an hour and my car is ready and when I get in I find the rust plugs sitting on the console. Upon request a service person immediately came out and installed them. It was not a major problem. Everyone I have dealt with at the dealership has always been very nice. It just seems like they keep missing the mark to become something more than average.

Helped my wife with a 23 highlander hybrid. Great people to work with. This makes our 6th toyota, 5 of them have been bought their. One was bought from different dealer during Covid only because they didn't or could not get at time. Great service for usand my family that have bought there too. Great outfit to do business with.Scott Brown

I have my car serviced regularly at Toyota of West Plains. It's always an easy experience, in and out. They check over everything and give me a rundown on how all the mechanics are holding up. I'm out of warranty for free oil changes but still prefer to go there because of how thorough they are. The young lady that runs the service desk has it down to a very well organized system, she's friendly but extremely efficient.

I bought a new Sequoia from Josh Adams. He was very friendly and down-to-earth. I really enjoyed the laid back vibe at this dealership. It is rare for me to feel comfortable in a new car dealership. Thanks, Josh!

We went there late in the day, just worked out that way, and the staff was really friendly. They stayed late and there was no feeling of pushing us out the door. Super friendly, let us test drive a couple cars. On the sale itself there was not a lot of high pressure to add on all those typical upsell items once you agree on a price for the vehicle itself. We do not purchase cars regularly, which wss obvious with us trading in a 12yr old car, and they still took time. If they are around when we look at the next vehicle, about 10-12 years from now, they will be at the top of the list for who we visit!

Had a very positive experience buying my new Tacoma TRD Pro from Toyota of West Plains. Very friendly and helpful people. Was able to get a good price on my new vehicle and a fair trade in value on my existing vehicle. We live in the St. Louis area where I have many Toyota dealerships and options to choose from but was able to find the vehicle I wanted and work with the staff there to get a good deal. Thanks to Eric King, John Woodworth and Terry Morlan for helping us get the Tacoma we wanted.

Just an okay experience. No hidden dealer fees which makes them one of the best around. But getting answers about car features and options was like pulling teeth. I delayed my purchase waiting for a call back that never happened. The buying process was relatively painless however no one took the time to show any of the features of the car. The unused customer checklist was left in the car. As a result it was more like an online buying experience.

Service dept hates all customers. It is obvious. Took my new Tundra in for a wiring recall. It was also time for a free oil change that is part of the new purchase deal. Have bought many trucks and cars from this dealer. I had a bad experience with another Toyota dealer service, so I thought I would mark the filter and the bolts needing removed for the filter change with yellow touchup paint. Told Toyota corporate what I was doing. After getting the truck back after 3+ hour wait. Took truck home and checked the paint marks. They were still there and not a scuff on paint. Not even sure they did the wiring recall, but they charged Toyota for both. Called Toyota corporate and reported my findings. Stay away from their service dept at all costs. Do not trust a dealer for an oil change. It is too critical to the well being of your investment.

Go ask for Josh if your buying a car. Upfront pricing and negotiation. No hidden fees. Overall excellent transaction. We love the new Camry! Good selection of new cars tops it off.

If I could give zero stars I would. Both me and my husband went in two days in a row and we had to seek out a salesman. The first time my husband went, the day before, nobody helped him after 5 minutes+ of standing in the parking lot. He then went back later in the afternoon and was still not helped, until the janitor said I noticed nobody helped you, let me get a salesman. I went the next day and looked at car, after finding a salesman. I was not shown the vehicle he just said I got it outside go ahead and look at it I thought it was typical to be shown a car. Moral of the story is they were very unprofessional and clearly did not want to make a sale. I was very motivated to trade in my vehicle and buy new and he didn t seem interested in making a deal.

We have purchased 3 vehicles from them. Sales is fine. Management and the service department suck. Will buy my next Toyota in Springfield or Mountain Home. I will NEVER deal with West Plains Toyota again, EVER.

Good dealership, no1 being pushy like these bigger dealers, smooth transactions and most of all no dealership fees. That's the best part.Bought here since 2010

After buying my first Toyota which was a great experience with them I was surprised the follow up experience was this bad. Drove over an hour to be told one thing then another once I was there. If you can I would try a different Toyota dealership even if it s a little bit out of the way. Would not recommend at all.

Had my Prius service last month for an issue. Dropped it off for 5 days. They replaced a 200 dollar part, paid over 350 for labor. I pick up my car, drive it for 2 days and it repeats the same issue. I drop my car off again. They keep it for almost 2 weeks trying to repeat the issue. They tell me it's "Running like a top". I pick my car up again, and it repeats the issue the next day, again. Took it somewhere else, turns out it was a head gasket issue. They pressure tested it and fixed the issue. Could have grenaded my motor. All because the car wouldn't throw a code for them to go off of. Would not recommend.

One major flaw this location has is professionalism. As a new comer to the area I thought taking my vehicle here would be easy and accessible. However, that is far from the actual truth. I was charged for services that were not done. In addition to all that, they charged me even though I have an extended care plan on my vehicle. After having my vehicle service in West Plains, I took it to the one in Springfield, Missouri. The service workers told me in Springfield that they don't know why I had to pay extra and that there were service items not performed on the vehicle. We attempted to contact the manager at the West Plains location but the service department in Springfield and myself never acquired a response. Luckily our issue was resolved in Springfield and we were reimbursed. This location needs a lot of work before I even consider using them for business again.

Bait and switch on pricing. Internet sales told me the price on the site was the out the door price with no trade in. Attempted to reserve vehicle to be told since I didn t have a trade I would have to pay $2,000 markup. And this is as a repeated customer. Beware.

I would recommend getting a written quote .Verbal quote was questioned prior to making appointment, and re-verified. When work was done final bill was 25% higher than the Quote. This was somewhat disputed by me all I got was we will ck into it. Next day I noticed a problem and called back to see if something could be done Answer given was not satisfactory nor was it what you would expect to hear.If you are not a regular customer, customer service is not what you would expect from a Dealership. Mechanical workmanship I would score 2 1/2 time higher than front desk service. I now understand why star rating is Low. Also read your bill there is a 10 dollar charge for environment.

Took my vehicle in for a reprogram not long ago, very disappointed in how the interaction went. First they locked my keys in vehicle which does happen, accidents happen but I was also supposed to get a spare key for the hassle. I live an hour away. But what really killed it is the top of my car was scratched and had a small dent on the rear. I left a few messages to get this corrected because they weren't there when it came in and never heard back. The lady who works in service was pleasant though, just hate that my car got dinged up and had to make multiple trips to pick it up.
