My Trailblazer alternator went out. New one on Amazon was $100 , rebuilt at AUTOZONE was $200, so I found Scaggs in West Plains and decided to try them. I paid $80 for a repair which was great until the repaired alternator lasted 4 miles. So I took it back to Scaggs and was told they had gotten a batch of bad parts but fixed it again. It lasted 2 or 3 days then the voltage gauge on the dash started having erratic swings from 9 volts back to normal 14 volts. I couldn't take a chance of being stranded so bought and installed the new $100 Amazon alternator. It has worked perfect for a week. Since the alternator only took 30 minutes to change I was only out my time for 3 swap outs and $80 for a useless repair. But someone paying a shop for a more difficult vehicle could have been out a lot of labor cost

I wish I found this place earlier. They rebuilt my alternator and had it back to me in the time it took to eat breakfast next door, all at a fraction of the price of the auto parts stores.Thanks guys, I ll be back for sure!

Paid to have my starter fixed and paid them got it home and it still wouldn t work so I called them and they said they did what they could and wouldn t fix it or give me a refund

and he told me to bring it in, I am almost an hour away from them in Clarkridge Arkansas. When I arrived today, Nick tested the starter and it worked fine but it was weak, he asked if I had shopping to do in town and asked to let him open it up to look at it. After about an hour or so Nick called me and said my brushes and bearings were worn out and all else looked great. They could have charged me what ever for the repairs but for less than $90 he sent me with a fully repaired starter for my bobcat at a reasonable price, thank you Nick for your honesty and integrity in running your business, it s hard to find this today. By the way he did this SAME DAY!!!! I know all repairs cannot be done same day, but he said if he has the parts he can offer that service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They do a great job rebuilding starters and alternators. My family has gone to them for many years. We just had a starter rebuilt. New one was over $200. They rebuilt it for less than $90.
