Had coupon for synthetic oil change so I took my car in for service. They then proceed to tell me I need new tires due to rot and being mismatched, and new tie rod ends. Estimate was almost $1500.00! I m an older female so I guess they just saw me as a sitting duck however I have always done most of my own mechanical work when I was younger and I m not totally ignorant to issues with my vehicle. I just had the entire front end serviced 3 months prior with all new parts! Tires are in great shape, all 4 are the exact same including spare! Just BEWARE! I will be asking all mechanics from now on to show me before I ever agree to let anyone work on my car! Shameful! They did the oil change fine.

We use this location often & find that they are efficient, courteous & pleasant to work with, but today they went above & beyond. I had an emissions appointment. My errands were done earlier than expected & I arrived almost an hour early. I was expecting to wait until my appointment, but they were able to fit me in. I was able to get home before the storm hit! Thank you so much!

Came in without an appointment for an emissions. We drove around all morning long and everyone turned us away. They took us and got us in and out in 10 minutes! So quick and friendly. We will be back.

I went in for a valve cover gasket leak on my v6 Toyota Avalon. After the repair a few days later I discovered that my intake manifold was not secured to it's mounting bracket and another bracket that supports the throttle body assembly was missing entirely. So the whole intake system was just hanging there unsecured potentially being an major repair or car killer if something broke. When I returned they admitted the mistakes and secured the manifold bracket, but for the throttle body bracket they could not find it so the on-duty manger told me to find one in a junk yard and bring it back to have it put back on. Like I have the ability and the time to fix their mistake. You cannot be careless with peoples cars as they are our livelihood and a fortune to replace nowadays. The manager didn't offer any refund or compensation for all the time I have to endure to make this repair right. It's a shame because I really thought this was a good shop but now my search goes on. The pictures show the curly bracket on the back of the intake manifold that was left w/o a bolt securing it. On the top of the other picture [behind the throttle body you can see the bolt hole where the top of the throttle bracket is supposed to go. And the engine pic shows how the entire assembly that was left unsupported.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent Job! I called the day after Thanksgiving as soon as they opened and asked if the can get me in for an emergency brake job for rotors and pads. They said if I bring my car in now they can take a look at her and see what all needs to be done and they can do the job for me and it would take roughly 2 hours from start to finish. I brought Melody my Malibu in and the told me exactly what I needed to get done and it was everything I already knew that I needed so their honesty was appreciated. I told them to go ahead and let's get her done. They offered me a couple discounts and also threw in the finance option as well even though I didn't need it, it's nice to know that was an option. They replaced my front and bake rotors and pads and drained all brake fluid and put in new fluid and even cleaned up my right rear caliper for me. I was in and out in about 2 hours. Very pleased with the professionalism from these gentlemen and they even fixed a part where a piece of plastic was dragging from underneath the front of my car. Made it so it was no longer hanging down. I will definitely be going back!

Although they have amazing customer service.. but getting there was a struggle getting there! I needed my head gasket replaced, I was told it was going to be done Friday if not Saturday morning. I came in on Wednesday called Friday in the morning I was told it was being taken apart because the part they ordered was arriving in 15-30 mins. Called back later that day in the evening being told no we haven t even started I had two guys call in, okay your down two people, I get it. However please don t tell me Friday morning you started tearing it apart and me calling at evening and it hasn t been torn apart yet. Here comes Saturday and I called in the Morning oh no we haven t started! Cool beans another lie awesome! FINALLY Saturday evening rolls around and it s done..

Dylan and Sarah were absolutely fantastic and gave great customer service for us saturday. We spoke to them throughout the entire day for unexpected repairs that need to be done on our car in order to pass safety and emissions. Dylan explained everything it was so patient with us. We applied for a Midas credit card and was approved and thank goodness we were able to use a coupon and now we will be interest-free for the next year with their credit card. They made sure to get the work done by end of day which they did. We so appreciate this location which we've taken our cars there are many a Time, they are always bending over backwards to get our car in as soon as possible. Thanks for everything guys

Dropped my JEEP off for tires and spark plug change. Was quoted by Dylan $963 for 55k tires and another $650 for spark plug replacement. Received a call the next day saying it would now be $2400. Not cool. I changed to tires only. $1,015 later and only 50k radials when I arrived. I'm very disappointed. I've been going here for 10 years and don't trust them now. I hope another place opens up in Wentzville.Update: Dylan reached out to me and explained it was a miscommunication. The price didn't change, just that it would be better communicated next time.

I can't put into words how happy I am that Tim, Jason, and their crew is back.I had a less than pleasant experience with the temporary group that was in for a short time, and am once again confident that my car will be taken care of properly.

I've taken my car here for oil changes and inspections but now I'm DONE!!Took my car in for an oil change and to diagnose my gas pedal sticking. For 3 days they gave me conflicting stories. I had to reach out to them to get any updates. One man told me my battery tested bad but they still couldnt find the cause for my gas pedal sticking. I called back and said I'd replace the battery myself then all of a sudden my car wasn't going to leave without a battery or tow truck. When I hear it tests "bad," that means a few cells may not be firing but APPARENTLY it's Midas policy (according to justin/dustin) that they only use the terminology "bad." I spoke to the district manager on the morning of day 3 and he claimed he was not apart of any conversation i had with the manager the previous day and he didnt know why he told me they had run diagnostics ect. because the battery must be good for them to runtests. They had my car for 3 days for an oil change and diagnostics. I finally got fed up with contradicting stories and then Dylan (district manager) appeared and tried to blame an employee (first the employee was on his last day of his 2 weeks then it turned into the employee just quit), then he blamed me for not understanding that the battery was dead then proceeded to tell me he was actually in on all the phone calls from the previous day (as i mentioned before he said he had no idea what dustin/justin told me the previous day). Dylan then said the cars getting ready to go on road trips were more important than diagnosing my gas pedal sticking (life or death).I can understand staff shortage and even them not being able to diagnose my gas pedal problem but the customer service and the whole run around AND blaming me (the customer) was ridiculous and stupid. I never once got a call from them. Unless you have a newer vehicle, you're put on the back burner so they can rack up a bill for you. They have a different idea of priority fixes and ones that can wait.Won't be back...ever.

Let's see. How about 18 months ago I paid over $3000 to have my struts replaced, and one stopped working. So I bring it back and end up paying over $600 for the labor to fix it. How do I know it wasn't incorrectly installed? I say that because of the scam you tried to pull with my check engine light. Brought the car in and was told one thing was wrong. Paid to have that fixed. Picked up the car and was told the check engine light was on for a new reason and would cost another $400 to fix. Took the car to autozone, had the code identified, looked online and saw it was an easy $40 part to replace. Popped the hood and discovered the real issue was you unplugged a wire and didn't plug it back in. Plugged the wire in and no check engine light and no engine issues. You were going to scam me out of $400.I've contacted better business as well.

Lost a caliper bolt somewhere along a cross-country road trip from the east coast and heard some random and increasing banging for 2 days inside the wheel until I finally took a look and saw the brake barely hanging on. Really tough situation for us , who is from another state and with a baby in the car. This Midas shop was the only place we could find in west St. Louis who would take us in on a Saturday afternoon. They not only found the part at another shop and brought it over, they also discovered that I was about to lose the same bolt on the other side as well. They got us back on the road ASAP with no charge! Best experience ever for my family at any auto shop!

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I had the exhaust replaced here a couple years ago and was told it's completely covered under warranty. Well it rusted out and feel apart. I took it back in only to be told that it is under warranty but would have to be prorated. Ok I get it. So I was charged another $230. Drove it for a couple of months and the exhaust broke again falling onto a brake line and cutting it in half while on the hiway. I had to have it towed to another shop and have all of that fixed for an additional $375. And that shop told me they couldn't believe that a muffler shop did such a poor job on the exhaust. When I went back to midas for some explanation they apologized and gave my money back for the job that they done. Well it has broke again at another place that they fixed. So I took it to them today only to be told that since I got a refund that they were no longer responsible for it under warranty. But they would give me a discount on the work that had to be done today. I chose to take it somewhere else that would stand behind there work. I would not recommend this store to anybody that needs their vehicle worked on. Very disappointed in the way they honor their work.

Worst place ever! Our car failed safety for an exhaust leak that never existed. Poage passed and we contacted troops c for trying to scam people out of money. No customer service and they wouldn't even give a refund for what they did. This is they short version of everything that happened. In a month we had talk to 3 different managers. They can't even keep workers. They make money off commission not service. Take your business to someone that cares and knows what they are doing.

Quick and easy. I had to get a rotor replaced on my 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport. They got it done in just 2 hours for about $600. Staff was friendly which is always a plus. Only downside is that the waiting area could be a bit nicer but most people just drop their vehicles off rather than waiting.

It was a walk in appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Everyone was very friendly. They gave me an estimate of how long it would take and were able to complete the service with no issues in the estimated timeframe time

This place is terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been here multiple times this year (sad to say), my car is still having the same issue. One guy blames the last guy said he had bad mechanics and he's trying to fix the old guys mistakes. Unfortunately my car was never fixed, still shaking, they gave me faulty spark plugs that I had to go get them fixed by another shop and I'm out of thousands of dollars. Called corporate and he tried to send me to another one of his horrible shops by midrivers mall. They have did nothing professional to help fix my car, they always make excuses, and when I asked for before and after pictures of my car before they touched it they didn't do that. And they never put my engine cover plate back on. They tried to charge me a diagnosis fee, when I came in and told him exactly what the issue was he tried to act like he knew everything and blamed it on a gasket leak. Said my car was shaking because of that. They so called fixed the leak but the car was still shaking after that. I had to take the man on a test drive to show him the shaking and he said it's my brakes. Like you did a diagnosis test and it didn't catch nothing then what am I paying the diagnosis fee for. Smdh very annoyed and frustrated with this place. Nobody knows what they're doing.

The friendly and skilled staff at this location far exceeded my expectations. Coming in for a wheel alignment and new tires, they were honest with me about what work needed to be done, and explained in great detail why. Dillan communicated with me quickly. When I informed him I would not be able to pick it up until the next day he even arranged a ride to pick me up so that I wouldn't have to wait to get my car! 100% recommend!

Well I brought my van here and we were quoted for the fuel pump. They switched it out and my van still did not start, they decided to put a power rod in my tipm switch to force it to start. I was told the tipm switch tested good before hand, after the force start, we were told the tipm is now no good. They gave us the run around the whole time, we were already $1007 in and then had to turn around and pay for the Tipm switch which was almost another 300 dollars. To top that my mother had to pick it up in Saint Louis and bring out to Wentzille Missouri! We finally get our van back after 5 business days just to have it break down a day and a half later!!! I call Midas an Dillon tells me they can have it towed BK to them an IF they're at fault it won't cost me anything, BUT if it's something else they'll have to charge me again!!! Just complete swindlers HERE!!! FIXED is FIXED!!! Nothing they did to our van was right at all. They was just randomly fixing stuff that ended up costing ALOT of money, and we still don't have a working vehicle. Wentzille Midas is a complete scam stay as far away from this place as possible!!! Honestly I would give 0 stars if I could.Update: They did have it towed to another mechanic, he looked at our vehicle , (without knowing the situation with Midas), he calls back within 20 mins of looking at my van a said it was the tipm switch was the problem! Midas ordered that tipm switch for my van! They didn't even program the thing to my van! Proof that this is a result of their work! We have been going back and forth with these people and my van is still broken and they are refusing to fix what they messed up! $1400 dollars and I still do not have a running vehicle! It will cost another 1400 dollars to get it fixed! Please be careful if you bring your car to Midas! They will mess up and will NOT take responsibility! Everyone in this establishment are crooks!
