I highly recommend Dan s for service on your car, they were very timely. Elizabeth at the front desk is so kind and patient. She took time to explain the repair in layman s terms so we could understand.

I highly recommend Dan's Foreign Auto for servicing European cars. As a BMW e46 owner, I was referred to Dan's by my previous mechanic. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the professionalism of the receptionist and staff.Dan took the time to listen to my concerns about my car, and provided honest assessments and options for repairs. He never tried to upsell me on unnecessary work. The prices were fair and competitive.The mechanics at Dan's are clearly experienced with European makes. They were able to diagnose and fix a couple of unusual issues I had been having. I really appreciate their expertise.My car has been running great since being serviced at Dan's. I now trust them completely with my BMW. For fellow European car owners looking for a reliable, trustworthy shop, definitely check out Dan's Foreign Auto. Their customer service and technical capabilities are top-notch.

Seriously GREAT service!!! I was frustrated that it took so long for them to get me in, but I figured out why: Dan is so good that he has a waiting list probably a few miles long. He's worth the wait though.I suspected the timing belt on my Lexus RX350, but it turned out to only be the ignition coil instead. I know he's honest because I didn't realize my car has a chain not a belt and he could have ripped me off big time. He was super honest and fast. This is a great family owned place and I will certainly be back again.

We stopped by after our engine light turned on during a long road trip. We got help from two different men, who were able to identify the issue and quickly clear us to continue driving. Well you know I m one for supporting a small business. OH BOY was that a HUGE HUGE MISTAKE!!!! I had my oil changed here about 3 months ago. Fast forward to Sunday 1-8-23 I got in my car to leave from work and my car was bogging out SO bad and it would just die. I was unable to take it to a shop so I had a mechanic come to my home and run some tests and check it out. Here we are hundreds of dollars later he said well when is the last time you had you oil changed I said a couple months ago(MY car is at 52,345 miles and next oil change is 54,345 so that should tell you) . He said it looks to me that you have NOT had any oil in your car for MONTHS!! That can not be possible. It s not leaking oil so where did the oil go? I work 2 miles from my home so I know my car didn t burn 5 quarts in that little of time. I stay on top of the maintenance of my car. Well fast forward it s going to COST 5,000 to fix what is wrong with it. Im just sick over this!!! PLEASE PLEASE avoid this place at all cost unless you have thousands just laying around I sure as hell DONT!!!!Service: Oil change

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. The weren t responsive when I had my car taken there. I had to physically stop by for updates. Then they threatened me and called repeatedly demanding money. I thought it was a good idea going here because they said it s cheaper than going to Mercedes for service. When I picked up my car- the service light remained on. The couldn t even wash the car like dealerships do as an appreciation for using their service. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worse enemy!

I have been using Dan since I was 16 years old. I can always trust him to be honest about what NEEDS to be done versus what my car could use but isn t 100% necessary. If you want to rest easy with an honest mechanic go see Dan, he will take care of you.

We've been extremely happy with Dan's Foreign Auto Repair. He's treated us with honesty and fair prices. He has serviced our Nissan several times and our Toyota saving us money that those BIG dealerships overcharge. We don't mind paying Dan because he's not going to nickle and dime us. He's just that good.

I cannot recommend Dan's more highly. They do great work at a fair price. We moved to Wentzville in 2006 and needed a mechanic. We were big fans of Car Talk on NPR and they have a list of recommended auto repair shops. Dan's was on it. We've been going ever since and have recommended it to several friends. All three of our children have used him, including our daughter who lives over an hour away in central Missouri and our son who is 45 minutes away in St. Louis. They are scrupulously honest and fair.

Would give 10 stars if I could, this is the best auto mechanic in St. Louis. I've been to other mechanics around the wentzville area and I always feel taken advantage of since I'm a young female with little/no knowledge of cars. Dan's foreign auto has my full trust. Also, Dan and his daughter are both so genuine and KIND. I would travel 100 miles to take my car here if i had to. Keep up the great work!!

This place is top notch! Very honest and very knowledgeable. Dan has been around cars a long time and knows his stuff. Especially Toyota's! I have taken several of my cars to their shop through the years and ALWAYS had great service and honest recommendations. Very friendly staff too, which makes it that much better!

After a minor mechanical failure about 400 miles from home (despite having a completely full shop) Dan personally made sure to get me back on the road in a few hours without taking advantage of the situation and charging a fortune. Everyone there was very friendly, and the scraggly little shop cat is a sweetheart. Highly recommend to anyone needing help with their car in the area, Dan will take care of you!

Dan and his staff are excellent. An actual honest hometown shop with very fair pricing. Any time I need any thing done to any vehicle foreign or domestic I take it to him. I've been going great there for 5 years and will continue.

Dan is amazing. Had an estimate from a Honda dealership in O'Fallon quoting me $3400 to fix my accord. Took it to Dan for a second opinion and he pulled the spark plug and showed me the issue. Had it fixed and back to me for less than a 10th of the estimate I got elsewhere. He had my business from now on. Highly recommended

Fantastic local shop; been taking our cars there for over a decade now. Anything from Fords to Porsches, Dan and his team have it covered. Elizabeth is a pleasure to work with as well and they are very honest and always have been. I consider them friends and will continue to use them as my #1 go-to shop for as long as I can!

Best mechanic in St. Louis area. Family owned and operated. Friendly and honest. Several times I've been in and he has talked me through the best options to save me money even though he could have actually inflated the repairs and made a killing. His work is impeccable and always neat and unlike me, he never has any parts left over.

Always fair and honest. My fianc�e replaced his VW and bought a chevy but still goes to Dan's foreign. Dan has always been good to us, explains what's going on and will speak with you personally. My daughter's 99 Volvo C70 had a massive oil leak on I-70. We had the car towed to Dan's based solely on positive reviews. They weren't kidding. He worked through a difficult drive shaft seal replacement, kept us informed, provided accurate estimates based what the potential findings were, and worked with us to do some critical parts replacements (timing belt, serpentine belt, engine seals) that could be done for no additional labor as he put it all back together. I talked to Dan afterword. I believe that he is a good guy that charges a fair price for honest work. I think that he will do the same for you.

Dave is the best! He always is able to diagnose the problem and gets you in and out. He helps me out and I know I can trust him to help me make the best decision with my vehicles. My family has been going to Dan for car repairs for over 10 years now and haven't had a problem once.

I lived in Wentzville quite a while before I found out about Dan's Foreign Repair. I had several bad experiences with my Honda and Toyota before I found Dan, but I am now a happy customer of his. Dan is always more than fair and he always tells me exactly what he is doing and why. I never buy a car until I have Dan check it out for me.I have quite a bit of knowledge of auto mechanics and what he tells me always makes sense. Dan can be trusted, hands down.Dan and Elizabeth are top shelf in my book.
