Our daughter goes to UCM and her car broke down. Since we're in KC, I Googled the nearest place to work on her car. I found Performance Automotive, and I'm sure glad I did. They got her car in and Dana, who is awesome, kept me informed the whole time. Great people, I will use them again.

They have worked on my sons car a few times and they have always been so precise with finding out what exactly was wrong with it each time. They are wonderful people and very reasonable cost. This cold weather has been crazy and my sons car has been firing right up.

Never take your car anywhere else! The most honest car shop I ve ever seen. Very kind, helpful and expedient, for a good price too! They actually care about doing their customers right, keep reading if you want a prime example.I had them fix my brake fluid system. Afterwards, the brake pedal felt much better, but a little different than before it broke. Just make sure that wasn t a concern, I called them back and they were kind enough to take a second look at my car. They stayed 45 minutes after close just to make sure everything was okay, and it was. That s good service! A true 5 star review.

Dropped our car off here to have a simple inspection done and upon picking the vehicle up, not only will it not turn over or start, but when it does, both sets of blinkers do not work, and it dies without explanation. Employees are completely clueless and claim they have no idea what it causing it. Never had a single issue starting up before visiting this location. They wanted $100 for labor to tighten a bolt I was able to do in 10 seconds, to pass me for inspection, and wanted to charge me even more just to have them look over the car to figure out why it won t start. Thanks Performance Automotive, wanna pay for my tow?!?! This place is a joke and they are scamming for money anywhere they can.

I recently had my cars ac serviced here and was very happy with the level of customer service and how fast it took them to fix my car. I was informed in detail about what was going on with the car while it was there, just an all around great experience and good price. I highly recommend anyone needing car repair in warrensburg to check this place out.

Pretty much my go to place. You pay a fair price for high quality work. They also do vehicle inspections if you need that. Trustworthy and friendly also. I highly recommend.

This service center worked with my company and a client by performing a diagnostic, they were very professional and courteous towards me, and helped me and my client as much as they possibly could. Dropped my vehicle off last minute because my brakes were going out. They even gave me a ride to campus. Worked my jeep into the day and got it ready for me by the end of the day. Prices were great and communication was top notch. Definitely coming here again!

I cannot say enough good things about the owner, Chris and his wife Dana. We took our truck in for some minor repairs. After picking it up we noticed that it was leaking fluid, so we took it back in to see what was going on. Because of a conversation we had had with Dana in the office they were aware that we were about to drive half way across the country on our honeymoon. Chris called and said that he really wanted to give the truck a thorough look over before sending us out. He found that the minor repair had shifted pressure to weak spot in the radiator and caused a bigger issue. He spent 12 hours working our truck that day to make sure that it was safe for our trip, even covering some of the cost because he hadn't personally witnessed the previous mechanic putting it under pressure after the first repairs. We have used this shop in the past but now we will never go anywhere else! Very family oriented and professional

Outstanding workmanship!! I'm not always happy with the bill (who is) but I know it's fixed right the first time.I would also like to add, I get updates and options during my vehicle's repair process. True professionals from the front office to the mechanics. Thank you!

Great people and amazing service. I can trust that they'll do their best when it comes to needing my vehicle serviced. I've worked here before, so I know how they operate and what goes on behind the scenes. They're the only shop I trust to do an honest job.

Very honest auto mechanics! They take the time to explain what the issue is and give you options based on your scenario...no pressure. They are my go-to shop for all my repairs.Update: Just an example of their service. Had a vehicle for 16 years, for 14 of those it displayed a Service Air Bag message intermittently. The local and city dealerships tried to fix within warranty and, to their credit, after the warranty but couldn't isolate the fault. Performance Auto took 2 hours...2 hours!...to review the past paperwork, research possible courses of action and isolated the issue! No more Service Air Bag message...system is finally fully functional! That's the difference between a mechanic just swapping parts trying to quickly fix an issue and a mechanic working to understand your issue! Outstanding work!!

Honest professionals that use technical data from your car's manufacturer instead of "winging it." These guys have always been trustworthy about repairs that are needed and repairs that can be deferred. Reasonable rates and effective results! We've used them for 4 different cars of 3 different makes, and they've been great with all of them.

I primarily work on transmissions so when one of my customers has a problem that I don't specialize in, I refer them to Chris and Danna. I have never received a complaint from anyone about how they were treated or the quality of the work. I trust them with my own vehicles as well as my family's vehicles.Chris was honored with the "Honesty and Integrity Award" by the Warrensburg Rotary club for operating with high ethical and moral practices. He lives up to that standard every day. You might have to wait to get your car in because they are usually very busy- and that is because they have so many loyal customers. If you are lucky you can become one too! -Kit Lindsay

Check engine light came on, so I called here to have it checked out. The woman receiving the call was initially very helpful, until the early afternoon I brought my car in. She had an attitude because I was late although I was never given a time to show (I work the time she said I agreed to come in so I would ve never agreed to the time). She was very nasty insisting she tells all customers with the check engine light on to come in early, implying that I must be lying. Now to the work. My vehicle had an engine misfire. A coil was repaired. A week later the light came back on, turns out it s the same issue. Performance automotive did however inspect my vehicle and provide me with a list of other things that needed to be repaired I had no idea about. One of them being a coolant leak. I asked the woman at the front desk (same woman I d been dealing with) for a quote on the repair. She was supposed to call with the quote, I never received this call (this was before the engine light came back on after the repair). I got a follow up call about this review and the company let me know they stand behind their work so they were willing to repair the coil if it were indeed faulty. I don t have this vehicle anymore, but the offer was reassuring so I decided to improve the overall rating. However, the call was from Dana (the woman from the front desk), and she s still rude. She did also tell me that she called about the coolant leak...and that by posting this review I was slandering the company that s been in business so long.

Performance automotive was so very good to me. After taking my vehicle to three different shops who could not figure out my problem I was very frustrated. They did some work and were very thorough. I picked up my car and we found out that there was another problem. They took the car back and found the problem and fixed it and did not charge me because it was missed in the initial diagnosis. They also let me use a vehicle while the car was being worked on. These are good honest people. I doubt if I will take my car anywhere else. Thank you Performance! :D

Awesome mechanic shop, the owner has built this business right, from the location, standards of business practice & their policies all the way down to the exceptional staff that he employees. My best experiences have been with Devon, he is one of the best mechanics i ve found in the mid missouri area. He is fast, extremely knowledgeable, he actually fixes the root cause of your problem and by the time all is said and done he explains to you the what, why and how of your vehicles issue. This place doesn t just remove and replace parts they are a full circle customer focused automotive service shop. Highly recommended!!!!!

I"ve been taking my car there for years, even after moving out of Warrensburg I still take it there for service and repairs. Honest and knowlegeable people charging reasonable prices and providing great customer service. All these are difficult to find in one place and this place does it right. My experiences throughout the years have always been positive and pleasant. Highly recommended.
