My semi was really in a pickle and Garber took good care to make sure no damage occurred and walked me through the entire process to help me get out and pretty much saved my job. Thank you so so much. I m in your debt.

I had a vehicle of mine that was in a wreck on the roadway... I understand when police arrived on scene they needed to get it off the road so they called Garner towing. They arrived on scene and moved truck and cleaned debris off road...the truck had rear end damage so was not road worthy, the trailer that was attached to truck and the hitch was damaged, but we had another because another one of my friends showed up when they had just moved it off road... when my second friend showed up and asked if he can just drop it he said no has to go back to lot because it was involved in a accident then he asked about the trailer that was attached to truck he said it wasn't road worthy... the welds on the trailer were good and the toung of the trailer was tweaked, he said it could not be towed....... well I just towed it from garber towing and it was perfectly fine and I would be fine still using it as it didn't effect the trailer towing but do with this as you please some companies are out here just for the money! Very disappointed in how they took advantage of this problem, didn't have any of the paperwork completed, mind you I am aware of the fact that it was a Saturday and I picked up and resolved everything Monday at 11:00 a.m., I was still charged for 3 Days of lot time, and when I picked the trailer up they didn't have the decency to Jack the Jack up they just slammed it to the ground. They had no regard to my property. The front receptionist confirmed that the trailer was still towable. If I could give zero Stars I would. All around bad experience .Just disappointed in how they chose to do business.

I had a flat tire and I locked my keys in the car while pulled over in someone's driveway. They were kind and helped me so much. Even helped change my tire and it was outside of normal business hours. I am so grateful for the help and the kindness!

My husband was at the car show In Versailles Mo, when the fuel pump quit as he was leaving. We didn t catch the names but a young man working at the car show saw he needed help and called Garbers Diesel Towing where his brother worked. He showed up with the truck ready to load up and bring my husband and his car home! The young man was very nice and handled the car like it was his own! He got to our home with the car and was able to get it in the garage as he unloaded it! Woul recommend this service to anyone who needs it!

One of my fleet vehicles, a 2023 Nissan Rogue hit the back end of An F350 and was destroyed. By the time I was contacted it was 9 at night and my guys were shaken up and sticky to say the least. We did not have connections to any towing companies in that area so the Hwy. Patrol recommended Garber. They were fabulous!! They were at the scene in short order and the driver, Curtiss, helped get my guys calmed down and through the process. He could not have been more professional and kind. When we went down to their lot the next day, Melvin helped us through all the appropriate paperwork and got us to the totaled car to recover some business and personal items. He was likewise patient and caring. When we are in need of a towing service in their area, we will not use anyone else. Fast, efficient, professional and kind they are a premium service at exceptionally reasonable rates.

Had a tire issue and even though they was technically closing a few of these wonderful men came to my rescue! Would definitely recommend checking them out.

Driving from Columbia, MO to Osage Beach on Friday about 8:00 PM and experienced a blow-out tire near the Eldon exit. I called in for a tow and was promptly called back by Dustin from Garber. He informed me of the latest he would be there as he was finishing up another service call. He arrived early. I was missing a crank handle to lower the spare tire. Dustin kindly made a trip to the local O'Reilly's and picked up a tool to get the job done. I offered a generous tip, which he declined, and sent us on our way. True gentlemen and great service. I would use them again anytime!Service: Tires

Melvin is an excellent tow truck driver!! He had two vehicles on the tow truck and he still was able to get the car backed up to the spot where I wanted it. It was a very busy day for Garber Diesel but they still managed to get my son's car towed back to our house after 6 pm.Thank you so much!

I just witnessed the Garber team in action retrieving a car that had done over a retaining wall at a condo complex. It was a treacherous situation that could have really gone bad. These three guys assessed the situation and formed a game plan that worked perfectly, and saved the car in the process. True professionals!

Towing was a great experience, however, it has been two weeks and 1 day since truck was towed. Bruce contacted us within 48 hours after towing and told is diagnostics would be completed in a couple days. Never heard from him again until my husband called him back a week later and was told that it was orings and gave us a quote and that they would get to it that day. Finally another 7 days later my husband calls him back to find out that the truck is ready and they replaced o rings and Injector without speaking with is and it is $500.00 more than the quote. Bruce said he was out for a couple days the mechanics did it without speaking with him first. My husband called him back after a few minutes and then Bruce said that he wouldn't be able to do anything about it, and that he had already given is a free labor and part at cost. We have purchased the Injectors from a Ford dealership and that is higher than the cost we paid. Also told Bruce that this may have been covered under warranty if we would have been told about it however he only offered to charge us a core charge if we take the Injector. My husband did speak with the Ford dealership and the Injector that was replaced without authorization was covered with a part replacement warranty. So, if Bruce would have had communication with us and his staff we would have not been out of the cost of the Injector.The Injector from the Ford dealership was $200, so I am sure that the $500 Bruce says is at cost is questionable at best. This entire experience with the Mechanics department of Garber has been extremely shady, and I am sorry to say that they obviously expect us to pay for their mistakes and lack of communication. I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau. I'm sure nothing will happen and they know that, which is why they take advantage of the regular Joe that works hard but doesn't own a fleet of vehicles.

This was the best experience I ve ever had with having a vehicle towed. They picked my bike up out of a ditch and strapped it securely on the flatbed like it supposed to be! Not on the side. They made the process super stress free. They even mailed me a bag off my motorcycle ,since it was totaled and I wouldn t see it again, so I wouldn t have to drive 2 hours just to pick it up. Couldn t have asked for better customer service. I would definitely recommend this company.Service: Motorcycle towing

Melvin & his crew are the best! Had a bit of an issue with my car at 6pm on a Friday and happened to see him still at work. I pulled in thinking I d just ask for his advice, but he had me pull in the auto bay and he had me back on the road in record time. My daughter and I very much appreciated his friendly help and we ll definitely use his shop again if we need to, and would recommend them to anyone! Thanks again, Melvin!Service: Tires

I had a tire blow out Sunday evening and waited for AAA for 2 hours to respond, in which they never did. MO Highway Patrol contacted Garber on my behalf and they immediately responded. They had a driver to me within 20 minutes. Then they took vehicle, myself, and my son 2+ hours to Independence, MO. The driver then had a 2+ hour drive back to Versailles and its after 10:30 at night by this time. Instead of dropping me off and rushing back, he patiently waited with me until my ride home arrived. What excellent service they provided for me in a tough and stranded situation. Thank you Dustin (driver) and Garber for taking care of us.

This was 100% a top notch shop. They let my husband tour their shop. He was impressed with the organization and cleanliness of the shop.We were traveling in our RV, when we noticed we were leaking either coolant or transmission fluid. They took us in right away, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and replace the part. All in a matter of days! They understood that this RV was our home. We were staying at a friends house nearby, but they have an RV site in case it was needed. We wouldn t hesitate to have them work on our coach again!Service: Transmission

I live 3 hours away,,, Garber Company understands the difficulty of daily struggle with people and family,, Getting my van out of impound was made possible with there help and I thank you all for this. My car caught fire on the edge of Barnett. As the fire department was putting it out they asked if it was ok to bring in Garber Diesel to tow the car. I was dealing with my daughter and her friend being upset while answering questions with law enforcement while being a little shaken myself. I told them that was fine. Had I been thinking my clearly I actually knew someone in Barnett that would have worked with me.I told the guy from Garber that I apologized but did not have money at present. He was all smiles and said not to worry that things happen and they d work with me. The following day I realized that I had left medication in the car that I have to take on a daily basis. I drive a delivery truck so while I was out making deliveries a coworker called them about my meds. They said they were not going to allow anything to be taken from that car unless I paid $100 upfront. We then called Morgan Co. Sheriffs Department to let them know that I really wasn t trying to get anything other than the medication that I had to have. We were told that it was Garbers right to do that as my BBQed car was collateral.What I can t figure is that not only were they keeping me from medication detrimental to my health but Morgan Co. allowed them to remain in possession of controlled substances that did not belong to them one of which was for mental health and another for high cholesterol. Not cool to be stealing one s mind altering drugs.I gave them two stars as they did smile and speak to me with kindness as they scavenged off of my misfortune. Furthermore, they charged me $300 to go about 12 miles.I don t care if I have a flat at their front door in the future. I will never use them again.

Driver Curtis came to the rescue for my blown up Ford E350 Super Duty 15 box truck in Barnett, MO. Awesome service, knowledgeable, considerate about the predicament & on time! Totally pro!!!

Check Value replacement! took them 5.5 hours which it is only maybe a 30 minute to 1 hours job! Let me add that my driver and brother had to help mechanic and tell him how to get the value off!! DON'T USE this company! Don't know how to work on trucks!! So use them if you want your truck to sit all day and your driver have to help with all the work but they want paid for it and drivers words very disorganzied & don't know what their doing for being a truck shop.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

The tower arrived within a short amount of time of me calling the service and got my car loaded onto the truck with minimal hassle. After that he drove me to the tire store and was pleasant throughout the entire experience. The cost was 65 dollars, which I think was reasonable. It was an extremely painless experience for something that could have been very stressful. Definitely 5 stars!

Hit a deer so had to be towed. I was about 50 miles from home and Highway patrol called Garber Diesel to tow me. Dustin gave great customer service and asked several times if I needed anything.

My husband and I decided to go here to just have my truck looked at and because of the service during that we agreed to let them work on our truck. They did an amazing job and in a very good time manner! I was very impressed and now if we ever have any vehicle problems we will be taking it to them.

We had our 18-wheeler break down in Eldon, MO and they towed us over 20 miles to the shop, they attempted to get us out by the next day but through no fault of theirs they were unable to. Fedex shipped a part late as well as damaged it in shipping - Garber went out of their way to get us another undamaged part and worked late as well as coming in on Saturday to get us back on the road!! We would recommend them to anyone that needs repairs. They are very professional and stand by their word! Thank you so much Garrison and Melvin for what you did for us. As if wrecking your car in a ditch isn t inconvenient enough, Garber Diesel will greatly inconvenience you by charging $270 for a 3 mile tow. 6 months prior to this I had another local tow company pull my car out of a ditch and tow it for $75. Also $40 a day for impound storage is a little ridiculous. Wouldn t recommend and will never use their services again.

Garber Diesel is like going back in time. Remember when could just drop of your truck car or in my case a motor home off to the shop and just say fix it, and not have to worry about anything. Well that is exactly how they work , they are fair concern careful and thorough. We have had them replace our ball joints fix our generator do all the annual service chassis all filters and fluids just got back today with them replacing our muffler and exhaust system not only did they that. They engineered away to greatly reduce the heat and make the back closet area much cooler but more importantly much safer in terms of fire prevention. With the Quality of work they do I would Gladly pay a premium for thier expertise, how ever the Bill s are always much less than I expected and incredible less the other Service places that did exactly the same service. If you want great service at a unbelievable price from people who care and you can trust Garber Diesel is the shop for you. Greg and ann
