Do NOT go here!! I had to have a safety inspection on my car, knowing I needed some minor repairs to pass. I went in on a Thursday, he failed my inspection, as expected, and showed me a list of what needed to be fixed. A tie rod end was what failed it, and the list showed about 250$ in parts, and a few hours labor. I came in the next day, and he demanded 900 dollars for work I HAD NOT NEEDED and asked them NOT to do. To top it off, he played hostage with my truck and told me I couldnt leave with it until paid in full! If you value an honest mechanic, NEVER go here!! Beware!

I have used this several times in the past, even after being advised not to and was happy with their work. But recently the work they did was not as I expected it should be. I don t know if they are different mechanics or what , but they did more harm than good. I took my vehicle in for a simple tuneup and to replace the blower motor resister. They also told me that my tie rods needed replaced, so I told them to go ahead and replace them. After I get the bill I was shocked just over $1,400 dollars. Blower motor resister cost about $60. They charged $160. Wiper blades that I didn t authorize $50. So now after all the work that was done the a/c only has 2 speeds instead of 4, and it s overheating everyday which it has never done. So don t be overcharged and bad workmanship, go elsewhere.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! My car was stolen off of their lot! We scheduled to have an alignment done on our vehicle and dropped it off at their lot. By the next day our car was gone with no explanation. After reviewing security camera footage our car was still on their lot at midnight, but magically the security cameras stopped working from 12:01 am to 3:30 am, and when the cameras did come back on our car was GONE! these people didn t even contact us that it was gone. Nor did they even attempt to apologize on behalf of just having to go through something like this. The owner has still NEVER even tried to contact us. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to other mechanics in the area as they could care less about their customers! We have filed a police report and we hope a2z will be help accountable as to why the cameras stopped working for the three hours that our car magically disappeared! I also want to add that our keys were taken out of the Dropbox they provide to customers. Just save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!****this information is INFACT true**** still not even an apology. Disgusting. You can reply to an honest bad review but not reach out in regards to any kind of apology. Speaks for itself!Service: Wheel alignment

I took my car here for an inspection and front end alignment. They told me it had a transmission fluid leak. I gave them the OK to fix the leak and later asked them if the car had enough transmission fluid before i picked it up. They assured me it did. Later my car broke down and i had to have it towed because it was low on transmission fluid. I am still not sure if the transmission fluid leak was a total scam by these people and they lied about it by loosening the gasket while they were doing the inspection or what as i had taken my car to another place shortly before this and there was no leak. The Bottom line is they are not trustworthy and i was probably conned out of hundreds of dollars by these people to fix a leak that didnt exist and my transmission was almost ruined because of it. Go elsewhere.

I would never recommend this shop to anybody! They will rip you off I had almost 3,000 in work done to my Jeep Liberty I brought it back three different times and on the third time they tried to tell me it ll be 800 for a fuel pump. Not to mention I had my exhaust welded and within a month it was broken again. I had my lower ball joints replaced here also come to find out they did not properly install them at all thank god it didn t break on me thanks to your negligence. When I tried to speak to somebody about my problems I was gaslighted into thinking the car was the problem! I m not sure if some new guy fixed my car but it was done very poorly. I Would never come here againServices: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair

I went to A 2 Z Automotive to get my oil changed. They did a full look over my car to check for anything that could be wrong with it.. When they did find the things that were wrong with in the shop to show me the details of it... What was wrong the severity of it .. They also got my warranty information and tried to get anything covered under my warranty.I have went there for pretty much all my automotive needs...They are really nice and work with you.Service: Oil change

I got a coupon in the mail for an oil change and tire rotation for an awesome price, so I made an appointment to try them out. I am SO SORRY I did, they are con artists and will try to scam you! They did NOT rotate my tires, but said they did, I know for sure cause I have one tire a different brand than the other three, and it is still there. They told me my oil is leaking and it will cost almost $3k for a new oil filter housing,( I'm still under warranty from my dealer), and took me into the shop to show me oil on the top of my engine. How can my filter housing be bad and oil be on the top of my engine? Reverse gravity, I guess. Why did this guy even have the top assembly open? That's NOT how an oil change is done, lol. I will NEVER go back to them, and strongly recommend other people find somewhere else.Service: Oil change

This shop goes above and beyond! While traveling from the midwest to the the west coast I ran into several problems with my Chevy Silverado. I managed to limp my truck to their shop in the middle of the night and waited for them to open. Harold was the first to be at the shop and immediately began diagnosing the problems with my transmission. They worked fast and hard to get me back on the road. We went over what was needed and could be taken care of at a later date. They did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. And cut labor hours off for several repairs. They gave me a loaner car to get around town for the 3 days I was waiting on a transmission. 1600 miles later my truck runs and sounds great. I'm happy to have chosen their shop and had a great experience given the bad circumstance.Thank you to Gina, Harold, Tim and everyone else at A 2 Z! They even called me to check and make sure I made it home safely. If they were located in my hometown I would use them for my automotive needs.Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Brake service & repair, Auto maintenance

I don't know anyone who's ever had a good experience at this place.. My cousin used to work there so I brought my vehicle there to do an inspection. It took him an hour and a 1/2 to inspect my Jeep to let me know whether or not it was road worthy which I knew that it was. I needed my exhaust fix I had a leak and the exhaust manifold. They had to take my air conditioner loose and capture my free on to get to the exhaust manifold. In the process they ruined my heat shield for my fuel injection I don't have AC anymore, I told them about it and they shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't do anything about it. The reason why I took my Jeep to a to Z was because I cannot catch your free on So I thought this mechanic could, clearly he could not and the job they did is terrible. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go to this place they downright are a rip off.

I simply needed an emissions test. No need to test drive my car. They come back with all of my antifreeze draining out. I get pulled into a side room and they tell me I need 5000.00 dollars worth of work done on my car. I THINK NOT! These people are scam artists. Bet you could drive a brand new car in and they would want to do a bunch of things to it. Oh and because they had to work on my car they had to disconnect my battery which now I have to drive an illegal car for 100 miles because disconnecting your battery resets the sensors for the emissions testing.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A 2 Z FOR ANYONE!

They were very kind and got me in quick. I really needed this inspection right away. And Noone else had time. And they didn't really either but they still squeezed me in and didn't give me a hard time. The lady at front is kind. Tried to scam extra busy while doing state inspection. Wanted 2000 to fix. Said it was leaking brake fluid and antifreeze. Drove it 400 miles last week and parked in garage not one drop of fluid anywhere. Took to 2 other stations they both said it was a great vehicle. Will NEVER do business with them again!Everything the owner saying is a lie. 2 other certified technicians at 2 others locations said everything was fine except brake light and wipers which I knew. Take your car there if you want but I hate a crooked mechanic

Ive always had pleasant experiences. Staff is friendly. They always provide a complimentary loaner car which comes is super handy. They also have several flexible payment options for bigger repairs that have helped me. I never have good credit and im always instantly approved for more than enough to cover cost.

Tripled the repair price during the job, and WAY overcharged for parts! Everyone is pleasant and professional - minus the price gouging. To be clear, I have used this shop more than once. My family is new to the area, and they are close. I will say that they are friendly - and for oil changes and such, they are sufficient. That is they only reason I gave them 2 stars and not 1. Recently, the brakes were constantly squealing on my car for a few days, then the noise 'went away'. Well, that's never good, since cars don't often 'fix themselves'. I took it to A to Z, after I called for a quote. I was quoted $530 for front brakes if it needed rotors, and $300 if it did not. I assumed it needed the rotors, since I didn't get it in sooner - my own fault. While my car was 'all apart on the rack', they discovered that the calipers, also, needed replacing. I didn't question that, they had never steered me wrong on smaller issues, but the job nearly tripled in price (from $530-$1558). I was between meetings at work, and blindly told Randy that I suppose I didn't have a choice, to go ahead and repair it.Later that day, as soon as I was free, I checked pricing. If multiple auto parts stores quoted the calipers just under $100 ea, and the brake lines at $35 ea (so, X2 that is $270) - I wondered how much more labor could possibly cost - since I was already paying labor to change pads and rotors. I called the shop, spoke with Randy, and was told that I was being charged $243 EACH for the calipers, and $87 EACH for the brake hoses!I WAS BEING CHARGED $660 FOR PARTS THAT SHOULD COST $270! I get that there is a markup going through a shop, but that is outrageous! Of course, by the time I called them on it, they were already finished with the job. They accommodated by taking 'some' off of the labor, but not nearly enough.Randy explained that they had been in business for 15 years, and never had a complaint like this. That they had amenities such as a 'loaner car' (much older than mine, with an air bag light on), and they provided a nationwide warranty on their work. I told him that the loaner car was not a loaner if I was going to be gouged because of it, and the warranty was not something THEY PROVIDED if I am paying through the nose for it.A FEW DAYS LATER, after I cooled off from paying almost $1300 for my repair, my son's starter went out. I priced the part, then called for a quote. When they finally got back to me, the $120 starter was going to cost me $260 (no, that did NOT include labor - total replacement cost was $460, and what 'shop supplies' cost $15 extra for a starter replacement?!).That was the final straw. I went to another shop (that also provides a nationwide warranty BTW), and paid $300 for the entire job to be completed. I will not be revisiting A to Z for future repairs - nor oil changes - nor anything else. Everyone is pleasant and professional - minus the price gouging.Service: Brakes

I came in for an oil change and did not have a coupon yet they still honored the $19.95 coupon I received in the mail. They inspected everything, told me what my car could use. They gave me a breakdown in three different Sheets the first being everything they would recommend and the last being what was most important. Fortunately I didn't need anything right away. There was no pressure. They were on time with my scheduled appointment, extremely kind, and professional. I got way more than I paid for. And now I know what my car will need in the future. I couldn't have gotten better service. I will continue to go here for ALL my automotive needs. Thank you!!!!

This has been my go to mechanic for a few years now. They always do good work in a timely manner at a fair price! They are very accommodating of schedule constraints and will do there absolute best to get you back on the road quickly! Just recently I went in for some work on my Chevy Cruze and not only was it done super fast but it came in significantly cheaper than I was originally quoted and they fixed another problem they found along the way at that same price!!!!!! If you go anywhere else you are throwing away time and money end of story!

My appointment for an oil change was at noon I was there at 11:30. At 1 they still hadn't pulled my car back. So I went ahead and grabbed my keys. You shouldn't make appointments with people if you're not going to keep them. I totally understand not getting it in right at noon but an hour later it's unacceptable. Especially without any communication. And when I made the appointment I told the receptionist that my doctor's appointment was at 3 and was over an hour away. I was assured I would be fine. I think they might have been too busy trying to sell people a hundred different things that they didn't come in for. Given every person that I watched walk out they were told they needed several $100 worth of repairs.. going to go with a no on this place and I got a refund on my Groupon. I can see why they are on Groupon. When people come in to have an oil change done. Unless it's a safety issue they're not coming in for you to try and sell them $10,000 worth of repairs. They're coming in for an oil change.

We drove from Michigan to Missouri for my sister s wedding and even though, praise God we made it to Missouri safely, unfortunately the next day I could definitely tell that something just wasn t right with my car. I searched google for nearby auto shops and stumbled upon A2Z. We figured we d probably be stuck in Missouri for a few extra days, which no doubt is expensive for a large family, so we better get the car in ASAP! Upon arrival they were all so very nice and seemed sincerely empathetic with our situation. About a day and a half later our car was done! We only had to stay just one day extra! When we went in to pick up my car, the woman at the front desk said that she had been praying for us and even asked how the wedding went. After we got home, she even called the very next day to make sure that we got home safely. They went above and beyond for us and I am so very thankful! Whether you re a local or an out of towner, give them a call!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

CHANGING MY REVIEW!!!LIARS AND THIEVES! Took my truck to have the ignition housing replaced. Charged me over 800 dollars for a 200 dollar part. Said they had to have a GM tech come out to make the computer work with the part. I paid 100 dollars just to have the diagnostic to make sure the problem was with the ignition housing. Then they said the truck wouldn't start because the starter went bad.Harold - the technician - said he tested it.HE LIED! I got the truck to start by bypassing the ignition THEY REPLACED!!!I got my truck out of there before they did any more damage.

First time using their service. Very Satisfied!!! They came and towed my SUV to their Shop. Randy called me with a long list of things needing repair. However, Ryan "the mechanic" explained everything to me and told me that all the things wrong did Not need to be done right then to get my car safely back on the road. He broke everything down for me and fixed what I needed for now and I could not be any happier with any aspect of the service I recieved!!!!! I am a single mom with 2 teenage children and can not afford to get ripped of by anyone. A2Z were my answer! The women working the counter, Nicky and Gina were Amazing to work with!!! Gina came and picked me up for a loner car while the mechanic Ryan fixed only what I asked to be fixed for now. I had my car back in 2 days. Running good!!! Yes, my truck needs a lot more work but I can get it fixed as my finances allow. I even called and my insurance company is reimbursing me for the 75$ tow. My total cost was a little over 1200$. I Highly recommend A2Z !!!KINDESS, TRUTH, and breaking of what I really needed now and what I can chose(at my own risk) to wait to fix, Ryan explained so down to earth to me. The service that I was provided, I definitely give 5 stars!I will be taking my SUV and any other vehicle I have back to them. I feel I was treated with RESPECT, HONESTY, and all around GREAT SERVICE. Thanks so much Nicky. Gina, and Ryan... yall did me right!! Candy Bowman

I used these guys a few years ago and the few times I did everything was fine. I recently called about an alignment and was told they won't do the alignment because it "sounds" like there's more going on to it over the phone, without actually looking at my truck. Then when I asked to do a diagnostic test to find out whats wrong they asked if I work on my own vehicle. I said yes and they told me they won't touch it.

Throughout a span of a couple of months my car seemed to have problem after problem and after i got referred to a2z they always treated me like royalty and walked me through what was wrong and explained everything to me. They would walk me through everything that could be fixed and made sure to distinguish what absolutely needed fixed. They want to make sure that my car is running the way that it should but never wanted to dig further into my pocket than needed. The peace of mind and confidence that i got when i would leave is the reason why i don't want to go anywhere else with any of my car issues.Highly highly recommended!
