Yes u do understand the frustration when you are trying to rob people.! You failed it for ball joints and control arms that were like new. We took it to another shop and gave them your inspection to look over. IT PASSED WITHOUT ISSUE. They also think your crooked. Terrible small town business practice, I hope it bites you.

We attended their little Halloween celebration and we're blown away at how friendly and kind these people were. I had this event for the kids in the neighborhood out of their own hearts and out of their own pocketbooks. The kids all had a really good time and enjoyed the prizes and the food. When my car needs servicing these will be the first people I call

I bought a new car and wanted different headlights on it. The car also had slots for fog lights but did have them, so thinking we could just do a diy the job wasn't as easy as it seemed, so I got in touch with a couple, different mechanics, only to be told that they didn't do work with customer supplied parts, so I called Dillions, he never once said this, he got the car in pretty quickly, did all the work, and really did it reasonably, I would advise anyone to come and give this company a shot, I really don't think you will be unhappy, I sure wasn't. I love the work he did for me, the staff was awesome. Professional, and friendly, thanks again guys, if I need anything else. I know where my car will be taken, I appreciate all you did, thx again

I was stuck in a snowy ditch. When I called my insurance co they sent Dillion s Automotive to pull me out. They called to confirm and make sure I was okay. Then they got to me as quickly as possible and saved me from standing out in the cold! They were extremely nice and professional. I could not have had a better experience in that not so great situation. 5 stars for these guys. I highly recommend them.

I was one of those people that didn't notice my tags on my plates were expired. I called them and told them I needed an inspection asap and they squeezed me in the next day saving me from being ticketed and costing money. They are nice to talk to and very helpful. They will even give you a printed bid for any work you need before they start. I'm very happy I have an honest, helpful, caring car repair shop near me. I highly recommend them.

I brought my car in there and the valet service was nice, BUT when I got my car back there was dirt all over the door like someone held it open with their shoe, my glove compartment had been gone through,all the change was missing from my ashtray, among other things..and when I called them back to alert them of this, instead of a simple "I'm sorry ", the lady argued with me and started raising her voice to me!! I don't see how business can be so blatantly disrespectful and TY to survive. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I feel like I went to the ghetto and got robbed. (And the owners response here just further proves my point. Just deny, deny, deny. No integrity in their business at all. I'm obviously not the only one who's had really bad experiences with them. Dillion auto received my car with a check engine light on, running rough and dying. I was told by a family member to take the car to Dillions auto. I dropped my car off. A few days later Vance called and said it was the cam shaft at $986.00. So I said fix it. Vance Dillon called to say the car is done. I go pick it up and within a week the check engine light is back on. I called, Vance said to bring it back up. So I dropped it off. A few days later a call its cam sensors its going to be 786.00 to fix...so I say fix it. Vance called a few days later saying its done. I go pick it up. 2 days and check engine light comes on again. I call, he says bring it back. Supposedly it needed a timing belt but I was not charged for that. Vance calls says its done. When I picked it up it drives rough from Troy to wentzville so I babied it home. It ran rough so we took it back to him the following morning. Vance said he doesnt know. 3 days goes by I call he needs it a few more days to really figure out whats going on. I said ok. 5 days later I called and Vance Dillon was avoiding me. So I stop by to see what is going on. Vance was not present. I asked for my keys. I said I will take it somewhere else. I got my keys went out to my car . I started my car and there it is the check engine light. When I dropped it off it was running rough but no check engine light. Vance called me and said he is going to call when he gets back to the shop to discuss what needs to be fixed that he is not doing anything else for free. I said I never asked you to I asked you to FIX the car. You obviously cant. I will take it somewhere else.

FANTASTIC to do business with! I had shattered my windshield when hitting a deer. I got some quotes from some of the popular 'mobile' glass replacement companies. They were a bit pricey and would take a week or more to get to me. I went to this guys business page on Facebook, used the "get a quote" feature and he responded almost instantly. Not only was he cheaper than everyone else, but he got it done the next day. I was able to pay over the phone, drop my car off after hours, and pick up after hours with no hassle! Not only did he do superior work lightning fast, at the most affordable rate, but he went the extra mile to clean out most of the glass shards that were all over the car (my very messy car at that). I highly reccomend his services and will use him in the future even though he is nearly an hour away. Dont let one or two bad reviews scare you, this is top of the line service!

Thank you Dillions Automotive for helping me out when I just needed a headlight bulb replaced on my car. I stopped by to see if they could take care of it, and without hesitation, they took care of me right then. They took care of my car with some strange code problems a year ago...kept at it until they figured it out and assured me they'd honor their work if the codes came back on. Happily, been code free!

I did not have service work done at Dillon's. Vance ordered parts from my business in Moscow Mills, and wrote a bad check for which restitution has still not been made.

I had my car towed here for a simple repair I only got 2 blocks away and my car caught on fire under the hood, I would not recommend them to do any work to your car because they caused mine to catch on fire and my car was a total loss!!

Dillon's Automotive is the worst of the worst. They will take the money from a grieving mother and blatantly rip her off without even thinking twice. Vance Dillon had agreed to restore my deceased brother's (Joe Lewis) 51 Chevy truck that he cherished for a pre-negotiated price which he did not honor.Vance has been "working" on the truck for 3 years. My mother has been way beyond patient. It was supposed to be ready for my little brother's graduation 2 years ago. I mean what mechanic that has any sort of morals would think it's ok to have someone's vehicle for that long?? Seriously??Vance likes to make up reasons and excuses why the truck isn't even a 1/4 of the way finished when he has been paid for a very long time. He definitely likes to exaggerate the amount of time and money he put into it. There is absolutely no excuse for us not having a completed truck in that time frame.To sum it all up these people are terrible people that will steal your money. The work that you do get from them is awful. They have no business running a shop or being involved in customer service. Save yourself a lot of grief and money and stay away from this place. I would say do the right thing and give the money back since you basically did nothing to the truck in 3 years time but we all know that you're not those kind of people.

Damaged wheels during install. Claimed they came in that way. Didn't put valve stems I needed in after asking 3 times. Told me I have to pay for them... uh duh. Also told me was pissed how cheap I got my tires mounted and balanced because it took THEM 3 hours to have 2 different people doing them. I didn't ask for anything except not to lie and say it was existing damage. Told me the reason they didn't tell me about the scuffs is because "everyone has scuffs on wheels" yeah I guess if THEY do them if you didn't you WILL! Also spun out 2 faux Allen screws when only 2 were real. I think my kids could have done a better job and faster in my driveway. Flat out LIED....no prior damage at ALL. Second set of tires EVER installed on new off road alloy wheels that the damage is ALL around inside of lip that even someone NOT knowing anything about cars can tell that 2 wheels were no question about it damaged during this install. Why be pissed about how cheap customer got it done? Customer didn't set price and gladly would have paid TWICE the price to have it done RIGHT and not be BASICALLY called a liar. I have heard other people's experiences weren't the best and they are/were affiliated with Driven Auto Sales who was just on the news. I was the only customer in the 3 hours I sat there and see why. Probably most of their business was fixing jacked up cars their friends sold people. Last year in waiting area there were 2 people with temp tags still having issues with their vehicles. One which the guy had to go somewhere else for a proper diagnosis and from his version pretty much force them to fix something that never should have passed inspection (by them nonetheless). If you don't want a job or are pissed about the time it took then don't TAKE the job and screw it up. Let the customer go somewhere and be treated right. What a circus show. No matter how big or small a job, don't mess someone's stuff up then add insult to injury and tell them it was already like that! No it was NOT! EVERY person who's looked and worked in shops before, myself included, can ONLY conclude damage done during mount/dismount tires. Funny 2 were ok and 2 were not. One guy in my Facebook said he did 2 and other guy did the other 2 before he got back from lunch!

After looking at my truck Vance said it needed a new motor I told him to go ahead and fix it after them having it for two months and me getting it back i noticed that the motor was never changed out and its my same motor but they claimed that its a new motor this was 4 1/2 months ago Well Monday the motor started knocking so my wife called them told them what was going on so they came got it and called saying there was no oil knowing i have cameras that show me putting oil in it and checking fluids two three days before the issue with it occured Vance said it voided the warranty out because there was no oil then lied to another shop tow driver said we pulled guns on them when they came to pick truck up thats not at all what happened While they were loading my truck on trailer the trailer swung up and hit the under carriage of my truck i paid over 3000 for that motor just for it to go out again if thats even whats wrong with it There are no two motors that sound exactly the same when they blow up and it sounded exactly the same if i was u DO NOT take ANYTHING to Dillions Automotive they are unprofessional prices outrageous and liars(To your response below since we can t reply. Stick to your story We have call history where we tried calling you about the truck it never sit because you was waiting on our response it sit because of you taking your time. We also have cameras proving we never pulled guns nor was there mentioning of guns at all. My question to you is if your tow guy came to get the truck and we was standing in the yard with guns pulled then why didn t he call the cops or just leave instead of getting the truck? I do have cameras showing everything that occurred that morning. My wife spoke to you the following morning and you never mentioned guns to her but instead when another shops tow truck driver arrived to get the truck from you he told you he was taking the truck to another shop and that s when you wanted to bring up the gun story. It sounds to me you are just mad because we had the truck towed from your place to another shop to be looked at because your company can t be honest or fair) There was oil in the truck I know this for a fact and have proof of this but again that s why I said your company can t be honest.

They took 9000 from us for a truck restoration and basically stopped working on it once we paid after they took our money it sat on their lot 2 years then I was told they were not going to finish it and they would not refund any of our money very poor customer relations and heartless people as this truck belonged to my dear deceased son
