I was having a problem starting my car. It went to US Automotive. Turns out I needed a new battery. No big deal, other than the $537 it cost to replace, but hey I need my car. I get in the car and get on my merry way. My radio no longer works. I'm sure it's new battery related, but wouldn't it be their job to put the car back together correctly? It gets so much worse. All of my coolant was drained? I called and asked why that would be? The car had coolant when it arrived. I know this, because it was just flushed and refilled in January. They said they didn't know unless it was done in error. I asked that they figure it out and I will be over to have them fix the radio and replace the coolant. They said 'no'. So I am paying someone $20 to come and take a look to make sure the cap isn't missing for the coolant and make my radio work. I am flabbergasted. They caused the errors and refused to correct them, which would have taken them 15 minutes at no cost to them. (The coolant issue can cause irreparable damage)

This is a first class, professional business.The facility is clean and bright. The waiting area is comfortable and not crowded. There are snacks and beverages are available.The staff were knowledgeable and helpful.And they took time to look up information on my vehicle and they made sure I understood what needed to be done to my vehicle.

Everyone there was very polite and friendly. The whole staff goes out of there way to make sure you re taken care of. They treated me like I was the number one priority. Definitely recommend by me to take your car to US Automotive!!

U.S. Automotive has the best customer service I have experienced anywhere. They were able to work with my tight weekly schedule to get me my State Inspection as early as possible and were so nice over the phone when scheduling when I was unable to make any of the times they were able to offer. My car's driver side door will not open from the outside and they were able to discuss with me what price I may be looking at in the future for fixing that without being overbearing or trying to upsell me for anything. The real kicker is that they came out with me to my car to open my drivers side door from the inside so I didn't have to crawl over the center console like I usually have to, 1,000/10 customer service right there! Will be returning here for any future vehicle problems!

The staff were very friendly and transparent. They helped me understand what was going on with my vehicle and the purpose for the work that needed to be done, while also making sure I was able to get to and from work with no worries. It s hard to find a place that helps you and doesn t just want your money. I would definitely recommend.

Terry is a liar qouted me 300-500 over the phone for brake lines so I tow the car there ! Call me a few hrs later saying my normal brake lines are out of stock so told me about this other kit ! Tells me it's gonna take almost 10 hrs to replace a few lines ! Which I'm almost certain we're the ones for the car and just lied about the actual time it took ! Cost me 1100 $ for something I feel was about 500 he took advantage of someone who trusted what what he said stay away terrible! Tell me if any other shop for a few line would charge over 1000$

Oh I m sure they do quality work especially at 150 an hour but communication between the individual who checked me in and the next day manager wasn t relayed so I basically payed for information I already knew. A 150 dollar oil change. As always your Handicapable Savage telling it

Scheduled an appointment days in advance. Why have appointments if they don't matter according to the rude man behind the counter? I got to their location about 15 minutes early and was told it would be a little bit. Waited over an hour after my appointment time of 1pm and the guy at the counter made me feel like I was an inconvience to them. Absolutely horrible service! To top it off, they said my vehicle needed an extra quart of oil, so the price went from $60 dollars to over 80 dollars for an extra quart. Garbage company and will never be back.

The other side window assembly broke this time. Terry and the guys knew exactly what to do. The repair was completely finished yesterday and the warranty is 3 years. I'm so grateful that they had it under control!Once again US Automotive came through! Our window would not roll up and we had doctors appointments the next morning. The whole assembly inside the door broke! They got us in and fixed. Terry and the guys are great. Thank you!*They got us on the road in time for our trip. We had a valve issue and some maintenance that needed done. We didn't know that the engine was involved! They had the parts overnight and got the car finished the next day. They even offered a ride!Services: Carburetor cleaning, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

This place is thee stereotypical auto shop that aims to upsell and rip people off in our community.After our son s 20 y/o girlfriend told us they charged her $120 to replace one headlight on her car ($20/bulb $100/labor), I called to get a quote for myself.Mike stated he d have to remove my bumper to replace one headlight so I might as well replace them both, quoting me $350 to get the job done.This was extremely interesting, as I had just replaced a headlight a few weeks ago. I found several videos online demonstrating the ease at which these bulbs could be replaced on my vehicle, so I visited my local O Reilly s to purchase a bulb. It ended up costing me $25 for the bulb and a smile to the nice gentleman working the counter at O Reilly s who confirmed I had the right bulb for my car, found & applied a discount for me, AND popped it into place for free in less than 5 minutes.If I were you, I would AVOID US Automotive at all cost or it will most definitely cost you.

2000 Ford Ranger: PART TWOContinued I have a feeling Terry will reply saying that they were busy well, this just proves he would prefer to stay busy rather than provide good customer service. So, I waited days before calling Terry again hoping to eventually get a call that I never got. I had to call again once more, and I asked what the next step was. Well, he was still telling me to have the truck repaired at Corwin Ford. This made me furious because Corwin would not touch my truck because of U.S Automotives repairs. I also want to mention how ridiculous this process was. No customer should ever have to try this hard to get what is rightfully theirs, whether that be a refund or a correctly done auto repair. Eventually, me and my dad had to confront Terry in person. We were respectful but demanded money back at this point. Terry still would not make things right, insisting we still take it to Corwin Ford. He mentioned us bringing it to the Corwin Ford in Springfield this time instead of Republic. We told him no because we were done scrambling and stressing trying to resolve this issue with his ridiculous insurance. I understand having insurance to cover things you messed up, but its how little information was told to me for this process and the fact I had to pay out of pocket again for another diagnostic. Again, I should not have to work this hard to resolve an issue I paid you guys to fix. Terry refused to give me my money back no matter how much explained his wrongdoing. He offered to take another look at my truck in his shop again and we declined. After taking the truck back multiple times and they couldn t fix it; what makes me think they could fix it this time.Terry has never apologized one time for this whole ordeal. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience at U.S Automotive and have even considered legal help. As of right now I am out $2000 with a truck that still leaks oil. This review will not be taken down unless I get a full refund period. U.S Automotive, if you don t plan to give me my money back, do not call me.

Had to end up having car towed in due to check engine light randomly coming on; car then wouldn't even turn on again once turned off. I advised U.S. Automotive what was thought to be wrong from having checked out at O' Reilly... 3 days later car was working like new again and also advised of other things to have fixed soon for car maintenance as well as recall info that came out in past.These guy's always take care of you and make sure to get done in the most expediant way. I'll continue coming back any time I have car issues.

They got it all done. Brought to my attention one thing I needed but forgot to talk to them about. Clean store, snacks for those of us there a while, kid play area. Other customers talked about how good their treatment has been with them. Will be back

I brought my car in for timing belt. This was for maintenance purposes. It actually also had a leak which stretched the timing belt. They were able to get it done. It took 4 days. Which was ok since I had something else I could drive. Last Wednesday the gentleman who brought the car in for me passed away. Missy or Misty was extreme my nice about the situation as I was an emotional wreck. The car seems to be running fine now. Thank God I didn't need a new engine.

This is a follow up to a previous review. I originally took my Jeep in to US Automotive for overheating issues. After US Auto keeping my jeep almost a month and me paying thousands of dollars for a head gaske. I was told it was fixed. I had to bring it back to them a week later for the same overheating issues. However, this time I was told my radiator was bad and needed a new one. I was told it would be another thousand. I declined there offer and bought a new thermostat from Autozone. I put it in myself, and no more overheating issues. They even charged me another $70 to tell me my radiator was bad when it was the thermostat, a thermostat which they said they replaced. Not good business.

I dont know who the owner is, but your man "Terry" is terrible at customer service. Looking back at all the negative reviews on here, I also see his name mentioned quite a few times. As for me, I chose not to bring my car here for service because of the way he treated me just over the phone, and I never will rely on this business in the future. Like I said, his name is often mentioned in your past negative reviews. Maybe its time you should think about replacing this fellow. He is hurting your reputation, such as it is. If Terry is the owner, then i suggest you put someone else in charge of dealing with your customers because you suck.
