These guys are fantastic!! On my way to take my husband who is fighting stage 3 lung cancer to an appointment, I thought my transmission was going out. Called Terry's to come tow the car to the transmission shop. They dispatched Mark to come get my car and he is my Angel because he asked what was wrong with it and so before he loaded it on the truck he asked if he could try to drive it. We told him yes and as he got in the car the floor mat was in his way he moved it and proceeded to drive my car around the parking lot. It wasn't the transmission just my floor mat causing the issue. We asked him what we owed him as he had driven and spent time and gas, he called the owner, Terry and they told us no charge. I can not express my gratitude and thanks to these guys. If I ever have need a tow or any of my family I'll be calling Terry's. Mark was the kindest young man and I would felt safe with him. Thank you is not enough. May God Bless you. You guys are my angels.

Just had Terry tow me today. I stalled out near glenstone and division. Traffic was getting busy, (near rush hour, about 5pm) so I was really hoping he'd get there quick. He did. Was there in 20 minutes and drove me across town to the kia dealer on Campbell. Only charged me $125, which seemed low to me, but I guess I don't know for sure because I've been fortunate enough to never need a tow before.Terry was friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Awesome job. Thanks for the help

A cursory glance at our towing service options here in Springfield indicate that Terry's is the way to go.My driver was Mark (if my memory serves me correctly), and he was friendly, respectful, and competent.The only thing I might take issue with is the cost. It was $175 for a 5-mile tow within town at 7:30 PM. But perhaps that cost is customary for towing services.I hope I don't ever have to find out.

Pretty nice guys. Let me go look at what was wrong with my car and explained it. Price is decent and they did it in a timely manor. They do charge a hefty price for using card so I would make sure to ask before paying because I didn t. Other than that, I recommend going here.

My son was rear ended today and needed a tow and was charged $300 (supposedly discounted price per the call we made later to see why so expensive ) for 7/10 of a mile away from the tow location and the vehicle was only in the lot for less than 2 hours!( that is probably why they charged so much, to try and benefit if they could have it a few days to a week in there) So, supposedly since they re not on a rotation they have this ridiculous price gouging to young adults or maybe everyone!! That is a lame excuse as the weather was fine and no difficulties with the car loading. Did I say 7/10 of a mile (2mins) from where the car was to the tow lot?!?!? Really!!! Stay clear of this place I would NEVER RECOMMEND or use them; that is ridiculous!! I wouldn t even give them a 1 star but it makes you.

My tire blew out on I-44. Police Sergeant called tow truck for me and I m glad we went that route and not through my insurance as Police gets towing requests faster and I really needed to get off the busy highway.Tow company happened to be Terrys Auto Service. The guy (sorry, forgot his name, he just had tattoo done lol) hooked up my truck nicely and took it to discount tire of my choice. The ride inside his truck was comfortable. He gave me a lot of insight about tires as we drove. Upon arrival, he nicely dropped my truck on designated lot of Discount tire.Price was reasonable.

Terry's was great to work with. No waiting several hours for a tow, he was there in less than 30 mins. Driver was very nice and actually gentle with the car. Significantly cheaper than the competition too! Great experience all around.

Called for a tow and everyone was so kind, and helpful. Jason showed up to tow my car and spent a good chunk of time trying to fix the problem before towing me to the dealership so they could fix it. These guys are great to work with. Compared to other towing companies I've used, you can tell Terry's really cares about their customers, and their business. I had to ride in one of their trucks yesterday and it was very nice and clean, not something you normally see when getting a tow. Also, they are quick to respond. The wait time was very short and they got me loaded up in no time. They had to pick up a fully custom show vehicle and they were extra careful during the entire process, I was impressed! The prices are more than reasonable, especially with the excellent customer service. I wouldn't use someone else, even if the prices were lower than these guys, because you get what you pay for. Thanks Terry's Towing, keep up the great service. I will recommend you to everyone I know,

My car broke down on 44, With my disable husband.he can not sat in car for long without air and no possible way to walk.Terry's towing was the first one to be able to help right away. We only waited 15 to 20 minutes. He towed us all the way to Lebanon from Stafford Mo. The care you shown us is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Great service.Joyce Johns

I have to say, I could never imagine the levelof incredible service I received fromTerry s in 2023. Felt like kindness of a bygone era.The short version, traveling out of state for my sons tournament. Wife s trans goes out, place I call uses Terry s. I get wife and boys to the game. Jason, truck 10, picks me up in minutes, takes me to the shop by hand, walks me into lobby, and says, now let s get you to that game. He took me personally. With his son in the back, using 15 mins of his lunch time, just to make sure I didn t miss the game.Hands down, unreal service from an incredible, kind and wonderful team of humans providing crisis support to other humans. From out of town and our truck broke down. Called our insurance agent and they gave us Terry's contact information. Tow truck driver, Joshua, had excellent customer service. Terry's auto service claimed to be available 24 hours, but when I needed a vehicle towed at one a.m. he was rude and said he wouldn't do it and to call back at 10 a.m. This is false advertisement.

My son was recently in Springfield for business. While on the way back to the hotel his car startedsmoking. I called Terry's, they came and towed his car to their shop. They diagnosed the problemas a bad water pump. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem in 24 hours. I am so grateful to them for the fast service. This kept my son from being stranted 75 miles from home.I would definitely recommend them because of the great service we received. Serpentine belt slipped causing my car to overheat frustrated and in a crunch I Called Terry's and Accidentally gave the wrong address. Their Driver Joshua called Me and I apologized then gave him the correct address. He Gladly showed up, had a Great attitude, conversated with My son making our experience as Best as it could be for the situation we were in! Friendly, Professional Customer Service. I used terry's towing to tow my car from an autoshop that was about to rip me off. Then, Joshua, the tower, told me he could get me a better deal elsewhere. It was absolutely amazing service. Joshua The person who towed it was probably the nicest person I've ever come across, and I'm so happy that he figured out what was wrong with our car, So the shop doesn't charge us too much when it comes time.

The employees at Terrys towing went above and beyond to help us after an accident. They genuinely cared about us in our most vulnerable situation. We are not from Missouri so when they came to help us with towing they also took the time to help us find a rental car to get home. It was challenging because most of the car rental places would not give us a one way rental back home. Joshua took my husband to the airport and helped him find a place that said yes. Had a great experience in very unfortunate conditions. While traveling on long distance vacation, our vehicle left us stranded west of Springfield on I-44 on a Friday evening before a 3-day holiday weekend. Terry and his team rescued us, helped us pick up rental car, and got us on our way. They then fixed the vehicle while we continued our vacation, after sharing some solution options, and we were able to pick it up all ready-to-go 2 weeks later on our return journey. Had a wonderful experience with Terry s Auto Service and Towing. It was a very efficient and stress free day. Terry arrived at the pick up location right on time. Picked up the vehicle fast and was on the road in no time at all. When he arrived at the drop off location he put the vehicle right where I wanted it. He was very professional and very experienced in what he was doing. Highly recommend this company if you need any towing. A five star rating from me!!Service: Car towing

I broke down in front of a McDonald's. Terry's towing showed up in about 30 minutes and helped figure out what was wrong and made sure I made it to my local shop safely, before I McMealed myself to death. They are friendly and very reliable. If I break down again I'll be requesting them.

After being out in held by affordable towing for over 10 minutes just to be hung up on, I called Terrys and they helped me right away. I got Jason as a driver and he was awesome, took no time getting to me, and I was in a small parking lot, and he maneuvered his truck like a pro.
