Absolutely fantastic service. The mechanics there are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. After the work is done they will go over the charges in detail. Very fair and honest there, you will not be overcharged. They did a great job on my old 2004 Chevy Truck... they got it running great. Thanks.

My tire pressure light always comes on during drastic temperature drops. This morning was no exception. I was on my way to work and drove to two broken gas station air pumps before I drove by Smart Buy Tire and figured I would try and see if they could check out my tires for me and get the the pressure corrected. They had an empty bay and checked everything out and got me back on the road. I know I was just getting air in my tires, but was willing to pay them for their time. They told me it was not necessary. Thank you for the positive experience and customer service that was provided.

Got a basic oil change here a few weeks back. In and out in about 45 min at the most while being understaffed on that particular day. Very cordial staff and flexible if any problems has arisen. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here, and not to some chain mechanical shop.5-starsAgain. Do not take your car to a chain mechanical shop.

Sold me poor quality tires that where wearing out before first oil change.The owner tried talking down to me like I don't know cars ,just to try sale me an alignment instead of replacing his bad tires . I went and bought four new tires down the street and asked to go ahead and check alignment and it was good. Was a long time customer with 3 cars will never return.This was his third strike with this customer.Edited for owner review comments.My wife has purchased items have even taken family there. Of course your reply will try to spin it anyway you can as all your replies like response on all your other negative reviews. Show me once where you've taken complete responsibility for a negative review on your reviews. You had a chance to make it right all you did was attack. You need to own up and clean up your act. So I say if people want to make a smart buy on tires don't buy it smart buy. And let's be truthful it was 2021 at the very end of it is when those tires were purchased the car hadn't driven 5000 miles for the first oil change since those tires were put on it because the car is not ever driven. My mileage wasn't even in your computer I had to give that to you so you can make a defensive argument why not to replace your product. As I had the documentation of when the mileage was when the tires were placed on the tire and the oil change.

Very good place to buy new and use tires, very busy all the time, a good sign they are good company. Bought a set of tires for my daughter,well the one tire had issues and seem just to be a bad tire, They took the tire back and replaced it. Sometimes I think every once in awhile you get a lemon. They did the right thing and honored their warranty.

Within the last 2 months, I've gotten 2 completely flat tires on my 2019 Chevy Spark. I've had the pleasure of taking my car to Smart Buy Tire for them to take a look. Both times, it's been my valve that was leaking, causing my tires to lose air quickly. The people working here were so helpful and fast - was able to get my car in and out the day of within just a few hours. I highly recommend going here for any tire problems. If I would have taken my car into a dealership, it would have been more than triple the price I paid at Smart Buy Tire. Thanks again for all your help and advice for the future!

Iv taken a couple vehicles there before and they have always done a good job at what they do with great prices. Recently I took my project jeep YJ up there for a front in inspection to make sure everything was looking good mechanically they looked over it and it all looked good I definitely expected to pay some sort of cost ( because typically places charge you for them looking over stuff) well they ended up not charging me anything because nothing needed work done! Very nice guys up there! Also the company I work for takes all there vehicle up there for maintenance and have never heard anything bad from them either

I have two kids attending college in Springfield. For the past 6 years the folks at Smart Tire have REALLY taken care of our vehicles. My son brought his car in today expecting to pay $445 for a repair but Smart Tire found that the brake issue could be fixed at the cost of $115.Today reinforces why I really respect the honesty of this business.Thank You Smart Tire, we will be back!!!

I've been going here a little over year now with 3 different vehicles of mine and they've always done me right. Shot out to Jeff, who has some of the best customer service around. Doug is a great guy and knowledgeable. They always shoot me straight here, never tell me I need something I don't just to make more money like some shops. Great at working with my schedule to get me in at convenient times. They do great work! All around great place, I would definitely recommend and will continue taking my vehicles here.

I have had good experience taking wheels and tires here to get replaced. I am not sure what happened the last time but i wont return. I took 4 ATV wheels (tire and rim) , and then 4 replacement tires into the store to get swapped. They are generally 10-15 a wheel to have them mounted depending on where you go. This place told me, they are beadlocks it would be 30 a wheel. I looked at him like 1) that price is crazy 2) these are factory take offs on a old honda 250ex, these are not beadlocks 3) do you know what beadlocks are? none the less the lack of expertise, or them wanting to scam me thinking i didnt know, i am not sure. It is hard to convince me that a tire shop does not know what beadlocks are.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Mechanic diagnosed front end shimmy. I've always gone to Smart Buy Tires any time I've needed tires. They've replaced ball joints and replaced air-conditioning compressor on different vehicles over the years. Highly recommend.

We live in Kansas City and we come to Springfield to buy our tires and get our car worked on at Smart Buy Tires. The staff is very competent, the prices are fair, and the owner, Doug, is very trustworthy. We've always been very pleased with their service and their prices. Doug bends over backwards to make sure the job is done well and that the vehicle is safe to drive...saved us big time once!

Smart Buy Tire is the best shop in Springfield, hands down. I have used them through 4 different vehicles for services from simple tire rotation/balances to brake/rotor replacements and more. They do good work in a timely manner for a fair price, which is about all a customer can ask for (in my opinion). I have taken a tire/wheel in that came off a bead and it was repaired at no cost. I have called last minute for an emergency repair and been worked in quickly. They have gone the extra mile time and again. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I stopped in without an appointment because my tire pressure light went off. The gentleman who greated me was very niceAnd checked my tire pressure and added some air. Saved me so much time. I'm very grateful and will return for future tire business.Thank you all!!

I recently needed to purchase 2 new tires abd chose to go back to Smart buy tire. Early in 2020 I had an issue with my front end and they helped me out so I decided to return. I was wanting 2 tires, an alignment, and an inspection since I was needing to tag my van. I spent a little over 200 dollars there to be told that the alignment and inspection, would not be able to be done until more work was done to the front. The estimate was almost 600 dollars. I decided to purchase the parts listed and have a friend do the work and save the labor costs. Once he removed the tires he found absolutely nothing wrong with the 160 dollars worth of parts I had purchased luckily I was able to get my money back on those parts. It is a shame that just because I trusted them to do work necessary to my van. That they took advantage of or rather attempted to of a single female my money will not be returning to that business. Be aware the "good ole boy" network is alive and ladies bring a male friend with you if you want fair un sexist treatment.

After being quoted almost $2000 to work on my car from another auto repair shop. I honestly was hesitant at first going to another repair shop. But Doug from Smart Buy Tire put my mind at ease from the start. He not only quoted me under $900 for my repairs, but answered all my questions honestly and to the point with no bull trying to fix or sell me things I did not need! Absolutely have earned my trust and my business in the future! I advise anyone that wants an honest repair shop try these guys out!

My mother has used Smart Buy Tire since 92' and myself since 01'. They are honest about what work needs to be done, not about how they can rip you off. My windshield got broken once while sitting in there parking lot. I was asked if I knew anything about it, I didn't and was upset because I didn't have the money to pay for another. They completely replaced it with no cost to me, I was extremely grateful. They have warranties on tires with good prices, reasonable hourly rates and are knowledgeable. If I ever have an issue I take my car to Doug's. If it's something his shop can't do he gives me a recommendation of who can do the work for me.

Just got tires put on for my 2016 Hyundai car. Jeff was super helpful and recommended some great looking tires. Definitely satisfied! Found em on Google and the great reviews are definitely something of truth!One caution for the business though: may be careful with their machine to put tires on. Three of the rims have a circle scratched around the rim near the center. My rims aren't great looking at the moment so I don't care. But if they get a nicer car, please be careful.

I ve been in multiple times to get some work done, and I m always very pleased. It s very quick and on time! Most places I ve been to, the workers treat people like customers, they only want money from. But this place tells you what you need. Definitely gotta shoutout Jeff! He is a very kind , and honest man, and I never leave thinking I got ripped off. Thanks homies!

Smarter than Ford.... seriously... Ford asked for my VIN number and told me what alternate tire sizes would fit my car. The guys at Smart Buy said "Sorry, not gonna work...". I trust these guys to do the job correctly. Prices are reasonable, especially since they generally do an alignment when you buy 4 new tires.Doug has installed tires on several vehicles for me. I've always been satisfied with their work.

I have been going here for many many years and really trust Doug (the owner). He is knowledgeable and honest. The receptionist is very nice as well. The current shop manager, Brad is a really great guy that knows his stuff and will talk with you about repairs, etc.The reason I gave it 4 stars is, they have been through a couple shop managers over the years that were questionable. And for a while, Doug wasn't even around (vacation or attempted retirement...I don't know).But now that Doug is back and Brad is shop manager, I feel confident bringing my cars to them. Not just for tires but for all kinds of work!
