JJ and crew were all very nice they all answered all of my questions with no issue. While I m from out of town I was still treated like a long time customer from the local area. I felt incredibly well taken care of. This will my my #1 choice for future work if needed when I m in the area again.My actual rating is 10/5 Stars

Fast, friendly & job completed in record time. Ruby, the assistant manager, was wonderful.The mechanic was very knowledgeable- over 30 years experience! I could not ask for better service!

Every time I come here I get a call within an hour with them trying to say I need this or that fixed and my car has less then 50k miles on it, well I had them fix my front brakes and rotors which was $700 and after it was done it makes ALL kinds of sounds it didn t make prior. Now I take it back and trying to say something else is wrong. Do not go here people. Say your self time and money. They are crooks here. I will be reporting them.

I highly recommend Midas on St. Louis Street in Springfield Mo. The people are so kind and knowledgeable. I get my oil change there and they always do a good job. Even when I didn't have an appointment for the oil change, they said no problem and they completed the oil change. I also had my brakes replaced and I had peace of mind because I have a 2 year old and knowing that my suv was safe. They are friendly, knowledgeable and they give you honest suggestions and give you options. And they have coupons on their website. If you need service for your vehicle.. I highly recommend them.

Tried to tell me that my car needed 1600 dollars worth of work to pass inspection. It was just inspected in December and passed with zero issues. This company is trying to prosper at the customers expense. Not to mention it took 4 grown men to do an inspection?! 2 of these "men" were smoking cigarettes under my car while it was raised in the air. Shop safety must not be important here.

Professional, honest as well as a friendly environment. Before I start any of my road trips I head straight to Midas on St. Louis in Springfield, MO to have my minivan checked-out. They are upfront an honest. They let me know what needs to be done now and what can wait and always within the time frame that they estimate.Great shop. Great team.

This was hands down the friendliest auto service and non-price gouging place I ve been to in years! Ruby and the service tech deserve my gratitude and I am others will be coming from my church to support your business! With -3 degree temperatures, I had to jump start my car and the hood would not lock back in place. I m from out of town and needed to get back today. I called Midas and JJ told me to come in and warm up my vehicle and he would see if he could get it to lock. He did and filled the tires up with air. He was a blessing.

First and formost, the customer service at this Midas was off the charts amazing. I interacted with the Store Manager (JJ), the receptionist (Ruby), as well as the mechanic who worked on my car. They were all insanely kind, helpful, and understanding, there were no pushy sales techniques or gimmicks, no credit card pitches, no extra nonsense, and it was probably the best experience I ve ever had taking my car in for work. I went to Midas after another mechanic did work on my suspension and failed to do an alignment. I called and talked to the store manager (JJ) about what I was experiencing and asked for an alignment and a once over on the work that was done by the other shop. They got me in right when I pulled up, did a quick look at my car and found this other shop made a very very dangerous mistake within 20 minutes of me being there. He took me back to where my car was lifted and showed me the damage, explained how it occurred, and answered all my questions. He was not condescending or pushy. Very straight forward and honest, and that s exactly what I needed after my previous experience. I needed to finance the work and I was given multiple financing offers, there were no sales gimmicks, deals, or pushing towards one or the other, not even the credit card; again, JJ was very honest and straight forward.I ended up needed quite a bit fixed and replaced, but they were done within 2 hours. They were able to give me the parts that the previous mechanic had installed improperly, causing damage, a detailed bill of everything they found that was not only done wrong, but also dangerously, so that I could go back to the original mechanic and attempt to get a refund. If you re looking for a no-nonsense mechanic, with an incredible customer service team, I would highly recommend giving this Midas your business.

I had a great experience at Midas today! Went in for an inspection and found out I needed new brakes on the front and back of my car. It was also recommended that I get new rotors. I agreed to all of it, which of course took time. JJ checked in on me and my kiddo multiple times through the 2-3 hours that we were, and even gave my kiddo control of the Roku so she wouldn t get too bored. When I was concerned about affording the fixes I needed, JJ was understanding and not pushy, but he did encourage me to apply for the financing program that is offered there. I m glad that I did because I was able to get all the repairs that I needed to be able to drive safely!

It's just this simple I had problems with my vehicle my pickup. tuck it in and Midas fixed it all even gave me a good discount they are also friendly there and they do a great job they also work on my wife's car and they've done really good by her as well I would recommend them to anyone when it comes to having work done on your vehicle they are very professional and knowledgeable I would go to them anytime.

These folks give amazing customer service, they make me feel like I m a person and not just another customer. Brought my car in for a service 3 years ago and have only gone to them since. JJ and Ruby and their team are the best!!

Everybody up there everybody at the shop is real nice and you guys do great work on my car and always cut me some kind of sweet deal so I sure do appreciate it and I will definitely be back

I m not too pleased, I came in around 7:30 AM to get my tire fixed and was told my tire will get there around 11 I came back to the shop on my lunch break at noon my car was still on the lift and had not been work on. I was told that they just received my tire and it take about 45minute to get put on and that they will give me a call when it s ready. Apparently the equipment that they need to fix that tire was broken and nor did they told me that upfront. To make story short my car didn t leave the shop until 6:pm, after they borrowed the machine from another shop to fix my tire. I wish they were honest about the broken machine because I live an hour away from Springfield. Plus they charge me 134 dollars with no compensation for the 8hour plus waiting time.

Wonderful service!! JJ went way out of the way to help me find tires for my vehicle. After calling several other companies I was at my wits end but JJ worked with his suppliers and not only found me tires, but had them available and installed the very next day! I would definitely recommend JJ and his team!

Had my oil changed and needing my rear brakes changed was brought to my attention. They were able the fix both my car problems in a timely matter. Will use them again in the future.

If I could give negative stars I would. They lie and tell you things are wrong with your car and it's not I got 2 other shops to confirm my tie rod ending were fine. But Midas tried to put fear in me to pay the 400 for new tie rods endings. My car only has 77000 miles no accidents and I have owed it 5 years. The only owner in fact. Lesson always get a second opinion when Midas gives you an estimate for something that needs done. They prey on those who do not know. I will NEVER go back.

They were friendly but never fixed the issue. Our car had an oil leak and we took it to them 3 times, it s still leaking bad. We found a hose that was completely broken apart and had been taped back together, causing our car to barely run. We also found a front piece of the car, after receiving it back, that was dragging on the ground making a terrible noise and had to tack it back up. Each time we took the car in they were able to take it in a timely manner, but it took them a while to get the car fixed and back to us.

I was initially hesitant to share this, but I believe it could help someone out there. Exercise CAUTION with this particular auto shop on E St Louis St and the one on E Battlefield Rd. I've been a customer at both. They are smooth talkers, but unfortunately, they made significant mistakes with two of my vehicles and failed to fully resolve the issues. On another vehicle, it seems they intentionally caused more problems, likely to increase the repair cost. The cost to fix exceeded the initial issue, and they added unnecessary services to maximize their profit. I strongly advise seeking a second opinion or attempting the repairs yourself if you have doubts about their recommendations, as you might be surprised. I noticed someone else mentioned a similar experience in the reviews, and I didn't take it seriously until it happened to me. Stay vigilant when dealing with these two mechanic shops!Service: General repairs & maintenance
