Awesome group of folks. Very helpful and honest.Had an issue with a Dodge pick-up.They were able to diagnose the problem and get us back on the road, at a reasonable cost and a very timely fashion.

My daughter called Loveland's to get a quote for a transmission FLUSH for her Toyota Camry because Villar's Automotive had told her to have a transmission FLUSH done to see if it would resolve the transmission coding issue she was having with her car. She was quoted $325 for the transmission flush. Other shops had said that they could DRAIN, but not flush the transmission, for $150 (McCormick's in Republic) but that a drain only would leave 5-6 quarts of dirty fluid in the car. Since the flush was what she needed, she took it to Loveland's. After she picked up her car, she took it to our mechanic for bearing replacement. He checked her transmission to see if the flush had helped. He told us that her transmission fluid was FILTHY and that her transmission had not been flushed. When we questioned John at Loveland's, he said that our daughter had agreed to a transmission drain and refill, which was a lie. He refused to refund us any money even though it was almost twice the price of the other estimates our daughter had gotten from other mechanics for a transmission fluid drain and refill. John was very belligerent on the phone when I tried to talk to him about this issue. We will not use Loveland's again.

Make sure you properly communicate to them what work should be done and ONLY done. My bill came out about $600 more than the estimate and there was some unauthorized extra work performed.The communication can definitely be improved. I had left specific instructions to call me after tear down to inform me of what they found. No calls. I had to call them after a week, and found out the transmission was almost ready to re-install. They were not very forth coming with what they found. I had to pull every answer out of them.I believe that you will have to be very firm with them on what to do and what not to do. If they just would have called me to let me know some issues they had, I could have the opportunity to decline the work or done something different that wouldn't have coat me 30% over estimate.

We've used Lovelands several times over the years. 20 years ago and today, they've treated us like everyday customers. Prices have been fair and the repairs have been thorough. They've even helped with non transmission problems. Thanks guys.

I bought a car from Bishop Auto it had a shutter before I made it home thought that maybe it was bad gas turns out it needed a new transmission Bishop Motors recommended them they had my car several days and when I got it back still had a vibration noise but no shutter so I took it to the shop locally and they inform me my a arm bolts were almost out and I was lucky 2 make it home and he informed me that there was a hole in my transmission pan and it was leaking transmission fluid I was informed by Bishop Motors that my warranty only applied at loveland's A-OK transmission they had my car for several more days call them Thursday of that week they said it was done but needed test drove Friday evening I picked up my car and parts of the car was not put together and was in the back of my vehicle and had to take the vehicle back and wait for the parts to be installed I'm lucky my family made it home safe I do not recommend and they do not keep you updatedService: Transmission

This shop is amazing! If it's broken, I am sure they can fix it. The amount of mechanical knowledge this shop has is truly astounding. I only trust this shop to take care of my vehicle needs.

When I asked around about a mechanic their name was always the first one to be said. So glad I tried them! Very trustworthy! Cost came in under original quote. Easy to deal with and fast. Kept me updated with my daughter's Jeep while working on it. Will be using them from now on for both of my daughter's cars.

I have found that going to cheaper places end up coasting me more in the end. Loveland is competitive on their prices and do excellent work.

I took my 1973 Ford pickup in for a major engine overhaul, and these guys did a fantastic job. They had it done prior to the time we agreed on, at the price we agreed on. I 100% trust these guys, and they've never given me any reason to doubt their honesty. It's great to know a group of fellas you can count on when you have an old pickup that sometimes needs work.

Our family has gone to this shop for well over a decade and never been disappointed. While they are sometimes unable to get a car in the same day these days, they always work quickly and their repairs are both good and affordable. If there is something that they don't cover, they are willing to make recommendations on where you might check into getting the work done, and they are very friendly. We have recommended this shop to anyone who needs a good, reliable mechanic for years and will continue to do so.

Had about every gasket or piece of rubber replaced in a 1991 302 engine at Loveland s, to stop an oil hemorrhage . They did a VERY solid job at an affordable price. They also fixed an issue with the window motor for next to nothing. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Overall a good experience. Had a Geo Metro 5 speed transmission rebuilt by them. I brought it in with the rebuild kit and they had it done quickly and very reasonable price for the labor. The only complaint I had was they installed the driveshaft seals at an angle (instead of straight in-flush). This would have led to an early seal failure and leaking fluid from the transmission. Fortunately I noticed this before installing the transmission back in the car. I popped them out and put new ones in correctly myself. While the seal install was sloppy on their part, apparently everything else they replaced inside has been good because I have put many thousands of miles on the rebuilt transmission and is working great!

Not impressed took our car there and asked them to fix what was wrong with the front end and got it inspected they said it was road safe and called them told them it was worst then when we took it to them asked them if they could look at it was told they was busy and got told to take it to some where else so I did.. I have to pay another 1200$ to get it fixed after paying them almost 1000$... Hope this helps other people realize who these people are and to take there car else where.

These guys are great guys! After my normal tech did a rearend rebuild and I had problems with it. I took it into him and was told tires.... Had to get a 2nd opinion. These guys did it for free, worked with me on my very busy unavailable schedule, and said if he didn't fix it they would see what they could do. Luckily my tech was able to fix it with the manufacturer's help. The problem was what Lovelands said was possible. Thanks abunch!

My daughter in law has been calling around for prices to rebuild her transmission averaging around 3,200 and she called these people and the quoted it for 6,200 or higher! This place was just trying to rip her off because there shouldn't be that big of a difference in price. I would make damn sure I called around and got prices before I called these rip offs.

I am never disappointed when I leave this place. In fact, most times when I take my classic auto to Loveland's, they not only do a great job fixing what I brought there for in the first place, but fix something else that had been a nuisance that I didn't even mention. Can't wait to see what they do the next time!

Only gave them one star because I had to. Had my Cadillac converter and o2 sensor stilen but they claim they aren't responsible. I feel like because I'm a female they just wanted to rip me off or maybe they stole it and just don't want to admit their thief's and crooks!

This is that kind of auto shop what make proud any American. Diplomas on the wall, kind people, profesional attitude, vintage car in the front of the shop etc. I passed thru Springfield and today I just flush my transmission but those guy's can fix any car. Strongly recommend. Thank you John.

I had over $1,000 worth front-end work done they passed inspection and this vehicle was all over the highway I would highly not recommend the Land's Auto

Good place to go but didn't offer much suggestions other than just straight ripping out my transmission. 2 days later bought my own code reader turns out it was just a sensor in the transmission

Fair priced and built to last. My husband competes in 4x4 mud competition. It blew the Transfer case gears before the tranny. Twice! Real mechanics

WARNING: Shop left off a heater core clamp which overheated my car that cost me 2 grand in damage. They refused to do anything, lied on a review about their response and overall treated me like dirt. Please avoid at all costs.

They got our van in the morning, called us and told us what they found wrong got the parts, had it fixed before the end of the day and we were on our way home to KS.
