The work is always top notch and at a fair price. They are friendly, helpful, and professional.I m pretty picky with who I trust to work on my car and usually do the work myself, but I trust these guys.

Had the car to three shops who could not repair. J&S was very knowledgeable and knew the problems within a couple of days. It took some time to get the parts bet Jeff kept me updated. Picked up car and it s running great. Would definitely use them again.

We use J&S for all of our vehicles. Second visit for my new truck. Great experience as always! Jeff always finds away to work with my crazy work schedule. Definitely recommend them for any of your vehicle services.

Today I had a big problem that the guys atJ&S fixed. My truck had a 2 inch hitch ball mounted on my bumper. I needed it off and a 1 7/8 put on. I couldn't get the 2 inch ball off myself but they did. Very helpful and if I am ever back in Springfield and need a shop to go to it will be J&S Automotive. Thank you again.

We have taken two of our vehicles here and have been very happy with how thorough they are. Both vehicles needed a lot of work and they really explained everything to us. We'll definitely make this our home for vehicle repairs.

I wasn't going to write a review but they keep sending automated texts to my phone asking for one. So here goes. I took my teenager's 20 year old pickup in for a busted brake... It's a $9 part, maybe $200 if you replace the whole kit, and they called me back with a $6000 wishlist of repairs they wanted me to bite into. Everything from new tires to license plate lights and all quoted for premium parts. I told them that for that price I'd just scrap it and get another vehicle. So I asked for a quote on just the one brake issue because they'd lumped it in with other repairs that I didn't want. Instead they called and gave me another pushy sales pitch. So I went in, paid their diagnostic fee, and took my truck home. I'm sure they would have done fine work but I don't know why they couldn't just focus on my immediate problem. I'm not going to pay to hang a crystal chandelier in a haunted house so don't try to oversell me.

Once again, I had a GREAT experience with J&S Automotive. Jeff and the guys are always informative and honest with me. I was in and out in less than an hour and the work was better than the dealership I used to frequent. 10 out of 10!

Jeff and his crewDid an excellent job on repairing my Range Rover. I noticed an odor the other day thinking it was new product smell. They found a garbage bag that had melted to my the exhaust. These guys could have easily taken advantage of my lack of knowledge of vehicles but they didn t. Instead of them trying to charge my thousands for a new transmission they were honest and let me know I was simply low on fluids. They got my truck up and running all in a days time and on short notice. So far I d easily recommend these guys to anyone who doesn t trust mechanics or doesn t know anything about vehicles.

My vehicle had a loss of compression in one of the cylinders due to a burnt valve. J&S Automotive's quote was substantially higher than another repair shop I had previously received a quote from. I decided to take my vehicle to J&S Automotive over the other repair shop because Jeff appeared to be more knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Jeff's professionalism is top notch and hard to find in the Springfield area. I would have given five stars, but took one star off because parts are marked up 100+% which is a lot higher than many other auto repair businesses.

they are so kind and i ve always had a good expirence coming to them. they are quick to respond and let you know when your vechile is ready. the man who runs the front desk, has spent time explaining to to me what is wrong with my car which is so special. as a woman, men rarely take the time to explain what s going on with your car and they tend to just want to take your money. that is not the case with J&S.

Jeff has been my therapist at times in reference to my automotive woes. They have worked on my classic beetle and my classic truck and of course my Wrangler. J&J have done quite a bit of hand holding and educated me in regards to all necessary repairs.

I have to brag about these guys for a second. My jeep was acting so weird and we could not figure out what was going on with it and after taking it to different places this company finally figured out what was wrong and I could not be more happy with the service and the perseverance that this company gave to my family they worked and worked and worked until they find Lee found the problem, and they are a true blessing. Jeff and the team never gave up on trying to diagnose the gremlin(s) in my vehicle. They were dead set on finding the culprit and fixing the issue, and they came through in a big way. I can tell from personal experience that they take their job seriously and are professionals in all that they do.

Cannot recommend this business enough. Recently had an inspection and oil change from J&S and it was such a great experience! Pricing, efficiency, and customer service were all top-notch! There s just something about a locally owned business that treats strangers like family! I had a bad day while visiting Springfield. Jeff and his Team made my day better. I accidentally put gas in my diesel truck. J & S, took on the challenge of making my truck well. Thank you J&S Team! J&S has been the only mechanic shop our family has used for years. They have handled all emergency and non-emergency issues for us. They are honest, reliable, reasonable and knowledgeable. They stand behind their work.
