I stopped in to simply ensure the lug nuts were tight after a break job. They immediately assisted me and refused any payment My interaction with the employees made me feel comfortable and gave me a real since of trust. I will definitely use this shop, for any of my vehicle needs, moving forward.

THIS place is incredible I've gone there twice and the guy that's inspected my car is SOOOO through & honest. Last time I went for inspection, he refused to pass it until I got a very dangerous tire replaced. I had no idea that I had such a problem. I was very grateful and went immediately to get 2 tires put on. I returned for reinspection and he checked it out and immediately passed my car. I love this place. I've had problems finding reliable,honest inspection garages because I'm a woman I got failed by Rooks 3 years ago FOR A MISSING PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR They wanted $230 to replace it. I researched & found that SIDE MIRRORS ON PASSENGER SIDE AREN'T EVEN REQUIRED I contacted Highway Patrol to get my car passed WITHOUT the $230 mirror. FROM NOW ON I'M GOING TO INTERSTATE The ONLY THING MISSING FROM "ROOKS" IS THE LETTER "C" THAT SHOULD BE IN THE BEGINNING OF THEIR NAME. Smart women go to Interstate.

I always get my inspections done here. They re always able to get you in within minutes for an inspection!! I also recently had an issue diagnosed and fixed here. They did a really good job of answering all of my questions. They were really flexible when I had to reschedule. It s always such a treat when you find a garage that doesn t make you feel like you re being taken advantage of. All of the staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and respectful. They re a busy little shop so it may take a few days before they can fit you in their schedule for something other than an inspection, but I d argue that they are worth the wait. Thanks again!

Needed an inspection quickly - Michael helped us get it done, was very nice and friendly even gave us some advice on what might be going on with a weird noise. These guys here are amazing, such good energy about them - definitely will be going back from now on they made a wonderful impression on me! Highly recommend!

I took my car here on a Wednesday. Everyone was sick and the lady told me to come Friday at 8:30am. (They don t take appointments) I did a drop off. I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and brake check. I asked them to call me when they look at the brakes because I may need rotors. They never called. I came back around 4pm. My car was not ready. It had been there all day. I ended up paying over $100 for an oil change and tire rotation. I m not even sure they did the oil change. There isn t even a sticker on my window to indicate that it was done. They also never reported it to my carfax and it still says I m past due. The man told me my brakes were good. But in reality, I need front rotors and my brakes are all under half pad. I would not recommend this place unless you are getting an inspection.

I had an appointment to get my car diagnosed, but they told me they were understaffed at the moment and really behind. I agreed to see them a week later so they had a chance to not be as busy and had one less car to deal with at that moment. A week passes and it was time for my appointment again, I call up there to see if the situation was better, they more or less said, "not really, but go ahead and come in to get it looked at." As I was heading out the door, they call me back and assume my issue was a transmission issue without ever even looking at the car, told me to go somewhere else. Terrible customer service. I had a flyer in the mail for a free consultation upon sign up with their auto club, and I didn't even get a chance to use it or sign up for their auto club, but I'm glad I didn't. All I was trying to do was confirm my issues, and maybe get an oil change and windshield wipers taken care of, but I guess it's too much for them to do. I'd rate it 0 stars if I could.

These people are unreal. We were out of town and had defrost issues. They got us in the same day with in hours. Charles took me back over to the lamplighter north where we were staying across the road. He did an outstanding job driving on that ice and we were sliding. He is a great guy.Mike the owner is very nice young man. These people are what you call mom and pop. Great people, they inspected our pick up and unlike some places they didn t just pass us. They fixed what we needed to pass inspection! Anthony did a great job. These people are very thorough and professional and I highly recommend them. Also the lady at the counter was extremely friendly and I m trying to remember her name. Well if y all are anywhere near Springfield I suggest these people. We live almost 2 hours away and they will be our new go to garage for sure. Thanks and God bless y all

Charlie is the BEST! Interstate is very professional, best prices, stay on schedule, they re very kind and genuine. I ve never felt taken advantage of, like they were pushy . I highly recommend this auto shop. I told them what was going on with my truck, they took care of it in a timely manner and they are all polite and professional. If I have any future problems with my vehicles, I know where I m going.

I have taken my vehicles to Interstate Auto for the last 14 years and I simply will not take them anywhere else. Michael is trustworthy and stands behind his work. The prices are fair and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend.

I went there for a inspection for my car based on recommendation from another family member and he said that they were great. And he was true to his word and they were true to their service. Very fast quick and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

They fixed my car but then decided they couldn't figure out what the other problem. Told them over and over about a tire and went to pick it up, and they acted shocked and said they were never told anything about a tire.. wanted me to take it to their buddies' shop.Price wasn't too bad, but they didn't really seem to listen to our concerns.

They were super nice and communicative. They let me know each step before doing it, and the ballpark price for the worst case scenario ahead of time, and ended up being a pretty decent price for the work we needed. Overall it was a positive experience, and I didn't feel like I was being pressured to get unnecessary work. Fair price, the work was done well and enlighten me about another issue. They take the inspection very seriously and they don't cut corners. I had to bring my truck back a couple times but they're consistent and I appreciate that. Good work fair price consistent can't do much better than that with a mechanic.

After my trusted mechanic for six years told me twice that my wife s brakes were fine, I took her car here. With the utmost courtesy from everyone they did not question my concerns and send me on my way. I arrived and the wait was very short. The inspector was nice and did his job to the best of his ability. I thought the inspection was going to turn out bad since I took my Pt Cruiser to be checked out. It turns out that I fail only two things and then went home, fixed the two issues then came back to get that window sticker! Thank you!!

Interstate Auto is fair priced. I had good, kind conversations with about 4 people. They were patient with my lack of understanding on official stuff regarding the State vehicle inspection.The parking is tight, if you need a vehicle inspected. Just plan a head on Google Maps, and you'll figure it out.

Highly recommend! I didn't know what to expect as I stumbled upon this place (I'm from out of town but they were open when all others were closed) when I drove through and had car trouble. They surprised me in how quickly they got to my car, how fast and thorough the repair was, and on top of that I was also surprised at their reasonable price.I'd love to have this shop in my own city, so if you're looking for a shop near Springfield then I can't recommend this place enough.Thank you very much!

Very quick and courteous people. I always go for a state inspection
