Not enough techs to handle walk in customers or 800 number that schedules visits. I was there yesterday and waited over 3 hrs for them to work in a simple tire plug. Did not feel welcomed especially as the representative called other local stores to see if other locations could do it faster. All were in the same boat. I did not schedule but I witnessed the worlds most annoying person get told the 800 number doesn t know who is staffed so they shouldn t have scheduled diagnostics appointment and told they had to do tomorrow. Using a locally owned mechanic shop from here on out.

I've gone here since 2017 and the techs and service people have always been nice. No complaints about them.However, like many other reviewers are saying, my appointment time was not honored. I dropped my car off at 8 am and when I was asked when I wanted it back I said it had to be before 1, but preferably sooner. I didn't end up leaving with my car until nearly 2 pm. If I sit in the shop instead of dropping my car off it's usually quicker, but I can't set aside 2+ hours just to sit around each time I need my vehicle maintenanced.Again, the techs have always been kind and I never feel rushed when I have questions for them. I don't know what would solve the wait time issues, but it's been getting ridiculous.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Erica greeted me with a big smile as soon as I walked in the door.They were very busy (customers at the counter, customers coming in and the phone calls kept coming also), but she made sure she spoke to every customer that walked in the store. She made sure everybody was attended to, and made sure Joe in the service area was aware of the questions and concerns I had about my van.Joe in the service area was great! He coordinated everything that was done on my van while also working in the service area. He explained everything to me about what they were doing and about how long it would take to complete the work. Joe helped me make a plan for all the repairs I needed done, starting with the most important safety concerns to be done first. Mark is the best! Mark in the service area worked on my van and the quality of his work is unmatched. He had my repairs done in a timely manner and made sure it was fixed right the first time! Their very good at their jobs!

Twice now this particular Firestone service center has helped me out of a jam when I was stuck in Springfield needing to get back home to Arkansas. Both times they were kind enough to fit me in even though their appointments were all booked. The staff was polite, fair and honest with me, and were able to get me taken care of and back on the road at minimal expense. I truly appreciate their help.

They did not honor my appointment time. I waited 2 1/2 hours and when I went to check on the car they said I had 2 more vehicles in front of me with no estimated time to wait. After 20 years of taking care of my cars, I will looking for another repair shop. My time is valuable!

Every time I take my vehicle here it is returned to me covered in black oily handprints on the inside and out. It takes them a really long time to complete jobs, if they even complete them properly. I had ordered specific tires for my vehicle and when I got there, they had ordered the wrong ones and I had to accept different ones and then it took three hours for them to put them on. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting the last time I was there, and the waiting area isn t very clean either. They do not value customers and never made up for any issues they caused over the years while being serviced here.

Stopped in to get quoted on some tires, and was greeted by Erica. Erica was extremely knowledgeable, great at multi-tasking, as the phones were ringing and she was also helping people check out. We had an amazing visit, figured out the exact tires I wanted. I would say it was a big win!

I usually go to Discount Tire, but they were closed on Good Friday. I went to Firestone for the first time with a tire that I need patched. Joe was pleasant and worked me in with no problems. I will be back.

Had 4 new tires put on vehicle. Never was told a wait time. Ended up being 2 hours that we ended walking around mall with our 18 month old daughter until it was finished. Then was driving home and car was extremely bumpy so was something to do with wheel balance or a defective tire potentially. Had to drive back there for them to look at it again. Spent another hour just waiting for them to take car back to shop area. No apologies given. Ended up talking to manager Joe which he was a very nice man and was offering to do something for us for time wasted. The woman there named Erica is rude. She had cut me off twice while on the phone and put me on hold without letting me finished talking. When at the location itself she has an attitude when we asked her questions regarding warranty on tires. I am a manager for a retail store and I understand sometimes you can get frustrated with things but there is no reason for rudeness or attitude when your customer isn't giving it to you as well. Joe was a great person but I will not be bringing my car back to this location for service because of Erica and lack of communication for time along with wasting time by coming a second time. Again Joe was fantastic.

The employees were outstanding! But whoever is making the decision to have 2 technicians and 1 person at the front counter is driving lots of people away.I always have to schedule an entire day off work to get a tire rotation and oil change when I choose firestone - regardless of location - due to having no more than 2 employees up front and 2-3 techs max.I am utterly amazed at how well the employees handle the stress levels of upset customers and multiple lines ringing without any help.I was at a Firestone in TX, and literally watched a person come in with a nail in her tire, and was told it would take about 3-4 hours before they could get to her. This was her only car, single mom, on her way to get her 4 year old from day care.FOUR HOURS later she was still there, for no other reason than not having enough employees.But the employees that ARE there - that stay with Firestone in SPITE of the lack of help - those ones are pure gold.Thank you!!

A little more pricy than other places on my repair (about $300 more on parts than it should have with what I've seen at Advance Auto and Amazon). They could be a bit better on communication as well. Also took like 3 days to look at the car from being dropped off

This store does not honor appointments. After reading the other reviews, I can tell they never have. They do not respect your time. So unless you plan on leaving it with them for an unknown amount of time, I would go elsewhere. Time and time again, I have made appointments, and they don't work on your vehicle until half a day later. I will be looking for a new shop for future maintenance. This place is a joke!

I was told I could bring my car in Fri. And it would be looked at Sat.And poss. Fixed by Mon.I called Sat and they looked at it but didn't complete the diagnostic. Paying$75 for them to tell me what's wrong.Mon I was told they would get it in.Tues I was told,battery problems. Because of their neglect. Wed.tech went to urgent care. Thurs go to pick up.I have tape on driver's window so don't roll up or down. Picked up my car and window was somehow rolled down a bit and the tape was all off and they didn't tell me about it. And didn't fix it before hand. They did fix it when I asked. Thank you. Was not happy with my overall experience.

My tire got flat on the side of the road so I called a tow company to come and take it to a tire shop, I didn t have any money on me at the time so they said they had an account with Firestone and they d just add the charge of towing on the bill so that s what I did. About a hour later I got a call from here and a very RUDE woman named Erica didn t even greet me, just said in a very unprofessional manner we re not paying for your towing! Without even letting me explain. After I had the chance to explain she was still very rude to me, then said, again very rudely well we won t be able to get to it tonight and hung up. I will not be coming back unless she isn t employed there.

I had an appointment I scheduled a day in advance and when I show up they say sorry our online system is down. Go to discount down the road. Firestone will do anything to do the bare minimum and get out of work. Plus discount has free tire rotation!

This place is not for black folks. I have a rough time everytime I try to use this place. My mom used to be a firm believer in firestone, they eventually ran her away too. It's not the brand it's the people that work there. I wish I'd filmed. I'll never use firestone. I highly suggest if your black that u do not use this place, unless u want to be ignored while your standing in their face.

Overall good experience. They're extremely busy in this season and appointments are booked a ways out. However, work was done in a timely manner once the appointment time came around. Friendly staff.

Was told it would be days before I could get tire checked for low pressure light. Was told if I read my owners manual I d know to fill tires and wait before seeing if there was a leak. Also said my light was on due to low temps 2 stars since he filled my tires, but couldn t tell me how low my passenger steer was.

I went in to get my tires aligned after installing new tie-rod ends. I asked them to grease the tie-rod ends as we'd ran out of grease.They called me in, told me to my face that those tie-rod ends were greased (spoiler, they were not and I had to do it myself anyways).They then presented me a list of repairs (pictured below) totaling $1,002 that were ENTIRELY UNECESSARY! My car didn't even have a code, and I'd changed and/or checked all my fluids. I doubt that they even looked under the hood as they would've seen full reservoirs, fresh fluids, and new ignition parts.They took me for a fool and presented a bogus repair list without asking me ANYTHING about the work I'd done to the car.On top of that, my car's steering immediately after my alignment now makes a popping noise when I reverse and brake, and go forward and brake. They said they'll diagnose the issue for $10. THESE CLOWNS are the issue.I'd recommend the location on West Sunshine Street. They seem more trustworthy.Service: Wheel alignment

Took vehicle to have a tire patched on a snowy slow day. Of course it isn t repairable so they try to tell me I need to replace all 4 tires when the other 3 have plenty of tread and nothing wrong with them. I said absolutely not just the one. I pick it up after it took them 3 hours to change one tire on a slow day and go to pay and they've added hazard insurance without even asking so I have that taken off. I get out on the road and the new $260 tire wasn t even aired up properly had 28 psi and should ve been 35. Scammers , I won t be back.Service: Tires

This has been the worst oil change I ve ever had. It took 3.5 hours with no warning so I just waited the whole time in the waiting room. Then they lost the paper stating what else I needed done even though I paid an extra $21 for it. They didn t bother telling me. I bought tires online and had them delivered to this location because they are an authorized installer. Jamie at the front desk was not overly polite either on the phone or in person. I had to reschedule my appointment because the tires were not delivered on time. The tires were delivered on Monday VIA Fed-ex with my name specifically on the box. They had to search for them when I arrived at my appointment. It took them 2 hours to install 4 new tires. When my car was finished, there was sealant all over the outer wall of my tires and on the rims.I specifically asked for them to look at why my exhaust was rattling. The response from them, we weren t able to see the exhaust . There is a protective cover that they didn t want to drop to see it. As I am driving my car after, I notice it pulls to the right pretty badly. It wasn t doing this before the tires were replaced. I m thinking I need an alignment. I take it to check tire pressure first and three of the tires are only filled to 28psi. The front right tire is 23psi. I aired all of the tires up to 34 because it is colder outside and I hate for my sensors to go off every time I drive. Low an behold my car is no longer pulling to the right. After this experience I am surprised that my lug nuts are even tight or that the tires are all facing the same direction. If you need your tires replaced I would recommend the other Firestone location further north on Glenstone. This one doesn t have a clue!

I had made an appointment a few days ago for 8 AM went into the shop yesterday for an oil change. A gentleman with fair skin and red hair with glasses told me that my appointment was not in the system and that he was the only person there till 10 and everybody was for that he was working on stuff. However when I told him that I needed to go out of town within the next hour he told me not to worry he would get everything taken care of. He asked if I needed anything else made sure all my questions were asked. I definitely applaud him because the phones were ringing off the hook, he had about six cars he was doing things with, and customers coming in. Thank you ginger man!

Staffing issues at this location and poor customer service. Sent the wife to drive our over an hour there for tires and a quick servicing before our trip this weekend only to have them try to get her to cancel our appointment when she was half way there. Our appointment was made in advance. They said it was going to take them seven hours to do a oil change and put on four tires because (1) our service was a three hour job and (2) they were four hours behind this morning due to a mechanic not showing up. This is not the first time this has occurred when we have attempted to take vehicles this location (i.e. cancel on use because they arent going to be able to complete the jobs they scheduled) . It's truly disheartening as when we lived in Springfield, this was our sole servicing center for our vehicles. I suggest taking your vehicles to another location or business where you can rely on and plan your day around the appointment.
