Great crew, knew what they were doing. Want a good honest shop for anything all the way up to a complete rebuild. These are the guys. They just rebuilt the head and turbo on my 2015 Cruze.Great job.

Had my 2014 ram 1500 in due to the common 5.7 hemi worn cam and lifters, had 265,000 miles on the truck so I went with a full engine rebuild. They had it in and out within a week... they have a bit of a lead time but that's proof they are worth the wait great experience and very knowledgeable staff would highly recommend and will be using them for all of our repairs in the future

EDITED REVIEW! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Larry was great to work with. Did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. BUT....Everything went south from there.I brought in my 2008 Expedition to get the engine rebuilt. They rebuilt it, and I paid them and even gave him a tip as he was good to work with. My vehicle broke down shortly there after leaving me stranded, and it turns out they had routed the entire computer harness wires over the exhaust and it melted all the wires. So our mechanic cut and spliced all the wires and re routed.Less than 20,000 miles, the motor blows up. It's been under a year and still "under warranty," but Larry said it had nothing to do with them, and I believed him.So I paid him full price to rebuild it again. The vehicle broke down AGAIN, leaving me stranded, and they made the SAME stupid mistake they did the first time and didn't hook the computer wire harness back in place... this time I called them and they said they couldn't get to it, and my main mechanic wasn't available, so I literally had to work on the side of the road re wiring all of that through the night. TERRIBLE experience.They never paid me a cent for all that, and it cost me thousands in mechanic and tow, and I lost work. 100% their incompetence, and that isn't even counting that when they put the second motor in (that we had to pay for), it burned oil and coolant like CRAZY... I was so pissed at this point that I haven't talked to him since.Unfortunately, we had dropped off another vehicle to get the motor rebuilt, and he has never even got to it or called us, and that was a couple of years ago.Just stay away and go somewhere else... too much incompetence and repetitive mistakes without making it right.

Two rods was loose in my engine in my car and Larry did amazing rebuilding it! Got it all done in a timely manner and was super nice! I m very appreciative for his time and hard work! Highly recommend them on anything! They get the job done right!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Jordan Valley auto mechanic recommended I contact this garage To see how much it would cost to have a wire run done And diagnose why my headlights was not working. I contacted the company And I told them when I change the turn signal from inside the front mud flap in front of the driver side Tire Because that is the only way to get to it I heard something pop when I was twisting on the wrong connector Because it is hard to see in there and I need to see why my headlights are not working now and what it's going to cost to fix the part that broke. I was laughed at and told they didn't have time to look at it today (which is understandable) and told ti just change the headlights and it would be fine. I was not asked the type of vehicle or even given the option to make an appointment. I do not recommend this shop and will not do business with them. They are very unprofessional and rude.

I actually had another vehicle rebuilt by Bob's approximately 25 years ago and they did a great job. I had forgotten about them and was looking online to have my 95 Dodge Ram rebuilt and when I saw their name I remembered they had done the truck I owned before. After seeing the reviews and remembering how well they did my previous rebuild on I decided to have them rebuild my Dodge. I will say this is the first time I have ever written a review on a company before, so if that says anything for them, it has been nothing but good. Larry was great to work with and they did an amazing job on the rebuild. I had a little oil leak which they immediately got it in and fixed it and had it done within an hour and a half of me bringing it back. I would definitely recommend this company.

I just picked up my truck today from having my motor rebuilt at Bobs Garage. To say my experience with them was pleasant would be a major understatement. Larry is very very nice and explained everything beforehand and even showed us some of the parts that were bad afterwards. They even went to the extent of fixing my bumper from a fender bender months ago that I hadn t fixed to save money for the motor, and I didn t even ask them to. In fact, I hadn t even realized it until moments after getting home. These guys are the absolute best!

Larry has shown solid professionalism right from the start and he has repaired my van's engine at a fraction of the price that the dealership quoted me, and he definitely knows whats is going on better than they did. Very pleased indeed. I will definitely be using them again if I need anything.

I had a 2007 Ford 5.4 liter v-8 with 117421 miles that I was told by two shops to replace. I remembered a friend speaking highly of Bob's garage. So called and told Larry (The owner) my problems with my engine he called my a few minutes later with a price for total overhauling the motor the price was literally half of the others for twice the work. It took him and his crew a week and they did the best job I've ever seen, total attention to detail and general quality work. The truck runs great I'm sold on Bob's garage I recommend Larry and his crew to anyone.

Larry's team rebuilt my motor in my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I could not be happier with the whole experience. The rebuild was completed about 6 weeks ago and I have since driven it daily. No surprises in additional costs. I recommend them highly.

Bob's Garage has shown me many times over that they truly care about their customers. Between my experience and some friends of mine, they are consistent with their good service and hard work. Anytime I need repairs on my car I go here and they are awesome.

As an automotive shop owner I only deal with honest, smart, reliable shops when it comes to referring customers, asking for help or a second opinion. Bobs Garage meets all these requirements for me. When I went to Bob s garage to get my car fixed I knew that the gas gauge on my dash wasn t working properly. They took a look at it and it was a relatively simple fix. The other place I brought it to wanted to give me a whole new gas system. Was a great relief to hear my bill was less than a hundred dollars compared to several hundred at the other place.

I went to buy a truck in Springfield as I was out of town. The mechanic Larry was very helpful in going over the truck for a pre-purchase inspection. He was both knowledgable and friendly and took his time! Recommend them with an A+. Thanks for the great service!!!

Excellent. I've had 2 motors rebuilt. 1st motor I had over 80,000 miles on it when I sold it. 2nd motor I had done 3 years ago. I've got over 45,000 miles on it and still going. Bob's Garage will do all my motor needs in the future.

Owner was nice and helpful, what was wrong with my car was too expensive for me to fix at this time but I totally trust this company and the mechanic was very knowledgeable, clean and helpful. I will take my car there when I can afford the repair, I would recommend that company to anyone that needs an honest shop.

After my engine went over 200k I had Bob's rebuild it. That was a couple years ago and I've only needed to take it in for maintenance. They did good work and I will continue taking my car to them.
