I just moved to MO from out of state. I went to Big O for a state inspection. While I was sitting in the waiting room, an elderly woman was in there for the same thing, and after inspecting her car, they told her she needed to pay over $500 for ball joints before it would pass inspection. Curiously, they had the parts on hand and could do it right away.When my truck inspection came back, they had diagnosed my truck with a number of problems that added up to over $900. The main ones: I needed new ball joints.When I made a comment about it, two other gentlemen sitting in the waiting room said they'd had to do the same thing at this location. One of them said he'd had to replace his ball joints on his nearly new truck every 6 months. I'm no mechanic but this can't be right.I had a funny feeling about it, so I read the Google reviews. The several one-star reviews made me take my truck to another mechanic the next day. My truck passed with no issues.I saved over $900 by getting a second opinion. I'm new in town so I don't know how things go here, but I will say that businesses should not be gouging their customers just so they can drum up more profit for themselves. They should be aiming to create a loyal customer base by ensuring they don't over-diagnose and gouge their customers.While they do have a friendly staff and a modern building with comfortable waiting room, you will pay for it. Anyone who goes to Big O in Rolla is asking to get taken advantage of. Get a second opinion and you'll save money.In my opinion, there is enough evidence here to warrant an investigation by the Attorney General's office for fraudulent practices.

Worst place to take your vehicle! I sat over and hour and a half over my appointment before even getting to my car. They didn t do what I asked 2x of them and even asked Jeremy and he went and checking knowing they didn t!. Charged me half an hour on diagnostics on something I already knew about and told the tech before handing the keys over. Tried charging me $400 to fix before doing an actual diagnostics. No matter how many times I told him the problem was here way before, he kept telling me no this is the problem! I had problem with them at their prior location, thinking since they upgraded buildings might be better, nope still shady as hell!

For the love of god, whatever you do, do NOT take your vehicle here. Had issues with repairs from another shop in Rolla to I took it here. Was told the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. Paid to have it replaced. Was in there every few weeks to months to have them replace the wheel bearing over and over. About 6 in total. I have a press in bearing with compression ball joints. While driving to work one morning, something clunks under my car, while doing 70 on the highway. When I get to work my wheel literally fell off. Another $1,500 in repairs + towing. All because someone at Big O didn t press the ball joint in correctly. They did pay for those repairs. Then shortly after the wheel bearing went out again. They replaced it. When I picked up my car I was told it s shaking when you break now, but we don t know why . The vehicle was not doing so prior to dropping it off. Took the car elsewhere because I m too scared to let them work on my car again.

Absolutely phenomenal service especially given how busy everything was! Tyler went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything, not only hooked my Jeep up with beautiful tires, but also got brakes on the Hyundai as well! I love that no question I have is too stupid for them, and they're always happy to help!

I came in with a tire leaking air very quickly. The associate at the counter was very professional and they got my vehicle in the bay within five minutes of being there. They were very professional, fast service I am very pleased with big O tires in Rolla.

They take way way way to long, and charge you for the simplest of questions despite advertising a free inspection. $83 isn't free. I have yet to get work done on my car here, so maybe my opinion will change.

I was a damsel in distress! I came out to my car and my tire was almost flat. I made it to Big-O and they discovered a nail in my tire. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road and worked with me on my payment. Anytime I have ever needed the air in my tires checked or anything like that they have helped me and worked quickly to take care of it and are always nice about it. Thanks Big-O for helping me out, you guys were great.

Had some problems with a set of tires called up to the big o tires shop in rolla and the sales rep came out looked at my tires helped me find a new set and was able to order new tires to put on the next day

My first experience and I got very little service. Failed my car for State Inspection due to tires which I had already ordered from them. This was understandable as the tires had to be ordered and weren't in stock, however, they were to call the following day when the tires were to arrive and they never called again. Went elsewhere for tires and another inspection. They did change the oil so at least that was completed. I think they're tire hoarders...

Horrible place take advantage of people charge wife for getting rid of tire they put in the back of car told her she needs oil change she said no so charge her 40 to put a qt of oil in when she told them not to charge 40 on road protection when she told them she didn't want it on one tire and the tire could have been fixed was a nail in it but they wouldn't and put new tire on with out permission and charge all most 300 to do all this

Excellent fast service. Wyatt and Tyler helped my family right away when we had a tire blowout on our boat trailer over the weekend. Highly recommend!Huge help, thanks again Big O tires!

Highly recommend! On a road trip and we experienced an unexpected flat tire on interstate in Missouri. Called Big O Tires in Rolla, MO to get tire repaired. The best, most pleasant service technicians, immediately took care of us to get us back on the road to home. Can t thank them enough. Turned our day around.

Terrible will never do business there again I can't remember the name of the guy that worked the desk but was very rude and our families will never go back for anything, thankfully the new store Discount Tire was open!

Exceptional and fast service! I use both the Rolla and Lebanon locations, Wyatt and Shannen, respectively. They are super accomadating in servicing my vehicles. I use the Acima leasing option, which is very helpful in paying for my repairs.. in and out with absolutely no hassle. And. They called the following day to ensure that I was satisfied. Sort of reminded me of the GOOD OLE DAYS. when scustomer service mattered.

We were on our way home from California and had a flat tire. They came to the hotel across the street, pumped it up enough to get to their shop and then got us in right away. They were so professional, courtesy and very nice. They took real good care of us when we needed it. I would recommend them to anyone traveling or otherwise.

The actual jobs were done fine but the customer service was ridiculous. The last 2 times I've use them I waited hours for calls saying it was done. Both times I came back to check and they then decided is the time to tell me they can't do what I asked not calling to let me know so as to not waste anyone's times. Plus after an almost 4 hour wait for brakes they also broke my hubcap and never told me.

Great place for any service for your vehicle, staff is always professional and keep updated on progress of the service your vehicle is there for. Prices are very reasonable, this is the only place I trust doing work on my vehicles. Highly recommend anyone to go for oil changes great tire prices and other services.

Do not give these nincumpoops your money. I have my own horror stories but have also heard from so many others. Recently my mother in law was quoted over $600 for what another reputable shop in town did the work for $250, it was brakes. My worst encounter was taking my truck in for a safety inspection and they forgot to tighten the lug nuts back down on the wheel they had removed. This is the type of place that gives mechanics a bad name. Take your money elsewhere, there are a lot of good places in town who so honest work for reasonable rates, big O is not it.

dropped my truck off for oil change tire rot and align and them to give a once over and top fluids. they tell me they can't align it because it needs a bunch of front end parts. on a brand new front end...clearly didn't check over because not a mile down the road I pull in the gas station to see they didn't top fluids at all. making me question why it took 3 hours from my appointment time. I used them a few weeks ago to do same on our company vehicles and the did pretty much the same thing. do not go here.

Great up front service. I got 4 new tires ordered & installed. There were issues with me price matching the tires I ordered but gut working up front was quick to help me out and get me their best deal. The guys in the back fixed a vibration I had for thousands of miles with a more detailed alignment than I had before. I will be going back for tire issues I have next.

Excellent service. I presented with the assumption that I needed tires. The problem was a tire balance issue. There was some minimal abnormal wear but not enough to cause concern. I still have half of the tread remaining and no faults beyond those typical of normal wear. I was pleased and gave them some routine maintenance which was also through and efficient. I keep my vehicle clean and they used protective covers on the interior. I am very pleased with both the counter staff and maintenance techs.

1400 dollar job for them and I go back two hours later to check up and they haven't even pulled in my vehicle. It's tickets like those that make money for them. Poor work ethic. Might as well higher snails. They move faster.

Second time in for an oil change the last month, Dakota took care of me both times. Very friendly, you feel like your having an old friend work on your vehicle. I truly can t say enough good about the service provided at this location! I refuse to take my vehicles anywhere else, not only are they quick, but they know what they re doing. If your looking for somewhere to make sure your vehicle gets the care it needs this is your place.

We are from Illinois and we were going to daughters in EdgerSpring Missouri had a bad tire and Tyler Colson was absolutely fantastic. We could not ask for better service. If ever in Rolla Missouri and need tire service I highly recommend go to Big O Tires in Rolla and see Tyler!!

My daughter and I were in MO for a wedding when our car battery needed replaced. Tyler was booked that day but took us in anyway and got us back on the road. The world needs more people like him. Great guy!!

"YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS"I had an appointment three weeks ago for a two-tire service and alignment. I desired a specific General Tire that Consumer Reports rated well. I dropped off my car and about 90 minutes later returned and found the old tires still on the car. Turns out that they didn't have the tires I needed and I had only given them my home phone number.A week later, I again made an appointment and was assured the tires were in. I made them check. Sure enough, no tires.Week three, I dropped off my car at Big O. About four hours later, I got the phone call and heard the words no service manager should say: " You are not going to believe this."Sure enough, the tires were the wrong size. At this point, they dispatched someone to fetch the tires from their warehouse, which I believe was two hours away, because four hours later, the tires arrived.So, after three attempts, I got my tires.I will reward the service manager with praise for giving me the alignment for free. He said they had similar delivery problems with other customers.

Horrible service. Extremely slow as well. Waited over an hour and a half for a service and then tried to tell us a bunch of things are wrong when they really weren t. Go elsewhere because they just want your money. Otherwise get a second opinion!
