I did a lot of research on pools and pool companies in the area, and visited several pools that were in various stages of completion. By far, the best pools and highest regarded pools were built by Probuilt Pools. From the owner Chris, to Shelley, Paige, Dallas, and the crews run by Alex and Alonzo, everything was done by true professionals and craftsmen. It only took about seven weeks from the time ground was broke until the pool was completed. Which, by itself was great but the quality of work done in and around the pool, including the stamped concrete was phenomenal! The prices for the pool and accessories were known in advance and I was not surprised by unknown fees. I don't typically provide feedback, but this is one company and team I strongly believe in. They install over 100 pools a year, the largest in the KC area. Don't be alarmed by their method of communication. They only work through email, not text primarily due to their number of clients. They do respond, and are true to their word. I highly Recommend Probuilt Pools!

We met with a few contractors before landing on Probuilt. We went with Probuilt because they were very responsive during the planning process and helped us plan everything we wanted. The entire process was seamless and the crews doing the work were great to work with. We could not be happier with the final product. The pool, spa, water features and fire bowls all came out looking really good. Shout out to Dallas who helped us with all these additional features and getting them just right. If your in the market for a fiberglass pool, I highly recommend Probuilt Pool & Patio. From day one the process was explained and executed as promised. "No suprises". Pro Built did an amazing job installing our fiberglass pool. It s a big, intimidating job to have done, but we were very confident in the whole pro built team. We are soo very happy with our finished pool. And the concrete work is excellent. The owner and the project managers at pro built pools know the pool systems and set ups very well. I was confident they would be trustworthy and knowledgeable before the project even started. I interviewed 5 pool companies maybe more but Chris came out and was honest about pricing and things to look for and know prior to install. Him being so upfront on costs and the job made me choose his company. Now my kids enjoy the pool and I m very thankful we decided to do the project. I would recommend pro built pools to anyone looking for an honest and hardworking company. Also I m sure we will be contacting them to do a fireplace and extended patio.Services: General construction, Design, Retaining walls

Investing in a pool is something my husband and I have thought about doing for a long time. We did a lot of research on what type of pool to get and decided on fiberglass. After speaking to a couple of different companies we are very happy we went with Probuilt. Chris and his team were great! There were a couple of hiccups with the electric and the pool opening but this was no fault of Probuilt and Chris made sure it was fixed quickly. The hole for the pool was dug in January and we were swimming by April! We have had an amazing summer enjoying our pool! Now we are just sad it will have to be closed for the winter soon. Thanks Probuilt!

Excellent pool sales and installation and a good variety of outdoor kitchens, grills and furnishings to choose from. Don t forget to check out their in stock supply of hot tubs! Excellent selection for all pocketbooks! Highly recommended and they certainly live up to their standards as well as mine!!

We had a great experience with Probuilt! From getting all the information before deciding to put in a pool to the day they opened the pool for us--it went so smoothly. Chris and Dallas answered the many questions we had, phone calls we made, and emails we sent. The entire crew was super nice and let us ask any questions we had along the way. Chris is a busy guy but very friendly and personable and always got back to us when he said he would and never made us feel like we were a bother. He doesn't just feed you information that you want to hear, he is straight forward and honest from start to finish...which is exactly what we wanted when deciding to go through with such a big investment! Dallas was super helpful and is very knowledgable about the entire pool installation process and explained everything that would be happening before it happened which was nice. The day we opened the pool there was a lot of dried mud on the concrete around the pool from some other workers and they took the time, on top of the work of opening the pool, to get it swept and cleaned up so it would look nice. They not only have great pools but great service as well and they take pride in the work that they do! We would recommend [and have recommended] them to anyone looking to put in a pool!

Probuilt Pool did a fantastic job on our pool install. Everyone who worked on our project was very professional and took pride in their work. Dallas answered every last question I asked (and it was a lot!) and was very quick to respond to my emails. We are very happy with how our pool turned out. When we made the decision to install a pool, we asked many of our friends who they used. One common answer. We used (blank) but we wouldn t recommend them. Seems everyone had bad experiences and no one wanted to recommended who they used.Fortunately we chose the right pool company. We experienced quality installation, fair pricing and great customer service. The unrelenting customer service started on the day Chris showed up to look at the yard and has not stopped. Pool care tips, winterization classes and answering general questions whenever we call or text are all benefits of choosing ProBuilt Pool and Patio. We went with Probuilt after contacting several companies.They were fairly priced and great to work with! Chris, Dallas and Shelly were very patient and quick in answering my hundreds of questions. All of their Crews were professional, polite and always left work area clean. A big shout out Thanks to Aaron and Hunter, the digging crew, Tony and his crew on deck and retaining wall and Alonzo who did a fantastic job on our cement. All Crews were so nice and a pleasure to work with! Thanks to the Probuilt Team for making my dream a reality!! I will be the first to admit that I am very particular when it comes to my home. After looking at several pools and getting bids from 2 companies we decided that ProBuilt was who we wanted. I knew from watching Aaron go about his routine of digging and setting the pool that we had made the right choice. His attention to detail was the first thing that got my attention. I was very appreciative that he never got annoyed by all my questions. The concrete job by team Alonzo was icing on the cake. You might have to pay a bit more for his work but the end result is a finish like I have never seen before. My wife and I highly recommend going with ProBuilt if you re thinking about getting a pool!Service: General construction

Chris and his team are fantastic to work with. They were up front with all costs and we were kept up to speed weekly on the progress of the pool. We signed a contract with pro-built on 2/25/22 and passed final inspection in April of 2023. We purchased the Aqua Technics Grandeur pool which is a good size (28 ) for our needs and was in-stock. I really like the twilight color that we picked, it s a deep blue with lots of sparkle in the sunlight. We chose to go with an autocover which has pros and cons, it was a pain bringing in the cover pump when it was freezing and then making sure it was out when it was raining, but a big positive was that we did not have to replace our fence which was not tall enough per city code. I think we will appreciate the autocover when we are outside of the freezing months. Team Tony was excellent! They were professional and very efficient and worked extremely quickly once upon site. The pool was actually functioning by 8/22 without concrete. Team Alonzo came with concrete in October and lived up to his reputation as a concrete genius! He was great answering all of our concrete questions. We ended up with a stone stamped pattern in a desert tan. This is the pattern that the Chris and Alonzo s team recommended and it turned out very nicely.Chris and Erin have been good to work with and did not over-promise with regards to schedule. They were both very hands on and available for questions. Dates have been challenging to nail down based on weather and contractor availability so schedule flexibility is necessary. Extra props to Chris despite living in KC, he was on site frequently in St. Charles County, personally helping not only to winterize our pool before severe weather but also cleaning/opening our pool in time for a birthday celebration. Ultimately, I m very glad we chose Probuilt. The end result turned out great and we can t wait to share the results with friends and family!Service: Fiberglass swimming pool construction

Worst company I have ever been affiliated with!!!! So my dream was always a inground pool. First they asked for 15 thousand down ok we gave it to them in Feb, 22 then they promised I would have my pool in July, 22, July turned to Sept, 22 went to Dec, 22. Then finally in Jan, 23 they delivered my pool it sat in my yard for over a month. The owner Chris is very rude and disrespectful. Long story short I had to have another pool company come and finish the job in June, 23. I would strongly advice never use this company!! Oh yeah they totally destroyed my yard.

The decision to invest in a pool is not a small one. It comes with concerns on picking the right company who will do quality work, respect us and our property, address our concerns, answer all our crazy questions and complete the work in a timely manner.Chris and his team at Probuilt met and exceeded all our expectations. He and his crew were outstanding and their attention to detail throughout the process confirmed we had picked the right folks for the job.When our fiberglass pool had to be lifted over our house by a crane we did not hesitate to give Chris the thumbs up because he had truly earned our trust and it was done to perfection and just really awesome to watch!Anytime we emailed them with a question Chris and/or Shelly would reply quickly and throughout the whole process we truly appreciated Chris's emails that let his customers know what was going on with their project and projected dates of each phase of work.Probuilt is the best choice!

The entire team at Probuilt who installed our fiberglass pool was great to work with. Chris and Dallas answered all of our questions up front and through the entire install. They also had great design ideas that were incorporated into the project that we used.Eddie s crew was fantastic on the dig and the retaining wall. They are the best in the business building retaining walls.It has been mentioned in other reviews that about Alonzo and his crews concrete work being artwork and it is! Simply amazing! They are meticulous in cleaning up the work area and any dust or rock off the street.We are very happy with the crew that installed the auto cover as well as the folks who hauled away the excess dirt.Excellent job done by the whole team! We definitely recommend Probuilt and would use them again!

Where do I begin? Chris and the rest of the Probuilt Pool and Patio staff were outstanding from day one and it remained that way until the project was finished.The owner Chris, invited us over to his home so we would have the opportunity to see his pool so we could get a better picture of the work he does. I don t know any other companies where the owner is as involved as Chris is. He s upfront, honest, treats every customer the same, and is easy to work with.His crew that I had the pleasure of getting to know were impeccable. Chris, Dallas, Alex, and the concrete crew were all professional and very nice. As first time pool owners, I had a lot of questions and the crew was beyond patient with me and my curiosity throughout the process.Fiberglass is the way to go. Not only because of the amazing work that Chris and his crew does, but you can t beat the price and quality of the finished product. Chris and his crew are professionals and know exactly what they are doing.I contacted Swim Things prior to hearing about Probuilt and I m 100% happy that I got in touch with Chris for our project. There is no comparison. If you don t use Probuilt, you re doing it wrong,Last day of the project, we had an issue with the company that came to open our pool and Chris, Dallas, and one of their suppliers came out to our house (on a Friday afternoon) and opened our pool. Chris even took the broom out of my wife s hands because he didn t like the people who came earlier to open the pool, how they made a huge mess and didn t clean it up.If something ever doesn t go as planned, Chris will fix it even if he has to do it himself.Chris is a straight shooter and is a man of his word. Probuilt doesn t hide any fees or make you spend more than what you sign up for. Couldn t be any happier with Chris and his crew, the finished product, and the relationship I ve built with Probuilt. I know I can count on Chris for any of my pool needs.With that said, water is 80 degrees so CANNON BALL!!

Probuilt Pool & Patio met all of our expectations, and then some. When we started our search for a company to assist us with our pool project, we researched several companies online and asked around for recommendations and Probuilt was one of three companies that we decided to contact. Out of the three, Probuilt was, by far, the most responsive and provided the most detailed, step by step process of what we could expect from start to finish. They walked us through all available options within our price range and were very transparent about the timeline and what we could expect in the event of weather and other unforeseen changes throughout the project. Chris, Shelley, Dallas, and Aaron were always available to answer any questions we had through each step of the project and they always kept us informed of any changes that might impact the timeline. Probuilt s team and contractors were always very courteous and professional and made themselves available to answer any questions we had and they always ensured the site was clean and tidy after each phase of the project was completed. We have been nothing but pleased with the Probuilt team and the contractors they selected for concrete, gas, and electricity and would definitely recommend them to anyone that is considering a pool project in the future. We look forward to enjoying our amazing pool this year and based on the quality of the entire project, for many years to come. Thank you Probuilt for making us feel like we were your only customers. ProBuilt Pool & Patio did our fiberglass built pool construction project. We had a referral from a good friend who spoke highly of their experience with ProBuilt, so we gave them a call. We spoke with Chris (owner) and had a positive conversation to start us off. After the call, Angie showed up at our property with a positive attitude to discuss our project. All information was up front regarding costs, payment schedules, etc - no high pressure sales stuff (she was great). After that meeting, Chris invited us to his house to see his pool and all equipment options. During our meeting, we mentioned other companies we were considering. He was not offended and asked us who they were. When we told him, he suggested the only one of them he would use if we didn't decide on ProBuilt - amazing that he would recommend a competitor if we didn't choose ProBuilt. He sent us to a project ProBuilt recently completed, and that customer had nothing but positive things to say about their experience. We signed the contract and once the project started, we encountered some significant complications with the city (Liberty) regarding property and easement issues. Chris worked with us as we worked through those issues, even offering to reimburse us if the project needed to be cancelled due to these issues. He kept us at the top of the project list, working other jobs past us as we worked through the city issues. Once all issues were resolved we met Dallas, who walked us though all layout and construction aspects of the project including recommendations, & costs involved so their were no surprises (retaining wall, extra concrete, pump equipment automation, etc) - again, outstanding ! Next we met Alex and his crew for the pool excavation. It was determined we needed a small retaining wall, so we met Eddie who completed that piece of the project - great job to all those guys and their crews including clean-up every day !! After the pool was set (Chris and Dallas were there to oversee this critical piece of the project), we met Alonzo and his crew who completed all the concrete patio work - these guys are the best. They were able to blend our new pool patio seamlessly into our existing patio - looks fantastic !!! Weather and pool equipment suppliers have been challenges this past year for this industry and Chris has consistently communicated in a straightforward manner regarding these issues which we greatly appreciated. I can't say enough about how satisfied we are with Probuilt (professionalism, communication, sense of humor, customer service, etc) !! I do not know how our project would have been completed without Probuilt. We needed a sizable retaining wall that no one else wanted to tackle. Additionally, whenever we needed something outside the traditional scope of work for a pool project, Chris and team were quick to help find a solution. I contacted Chris at ProBuilt the summer of 2020 after moving to the KC area from Southern California. We wanted a pool at our new home and vinyl or concrete had at least a two year wait period to get started. I started doing some research and found ProBuilt online. Chris talked to me for almost an hour answering all my questions about fiberglass pools and invited me to watch a pool being placed that day and to see the one at his own home.After searching all the fiberglass options (Probuilt works with lots of vendors) we ended up putting a contract in Jan 21 with the intent of the pool being placed by the end of Summer. To no fault of Probuilt, our original pool manufacturer ended up not being able to fulfill our order so the original timeline was pushed back. That s where Chris came through. He came up with several options and even started searching other available pools in the area. We found one that suited our family needs and within a month our pool was being transported and placed in the ground. In a time when everything is delayed, Chris got us back on track with our goal of getting things completed by end of season. We had the pool delivered mid-September and it was completely done by mid-November (and that included some weather and permit delays).Everyone we worked with at ProBuilt was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Dallas oversaw our project and answered every question and helped us figure our proper pool placement, concrete options, and overall pool timeline. Alex and his crew were super reliable, showing up daily at 7am ready to go, kept the work area clean and tidy and answered all my questions about the dig and pool details. Alonzo and his concrete crew did amazing work and made the entire pool/patio take shape. We used DirtWorks to haul our extra dirt and Jay and his team were great guys too.All of you reading this have experienced poor service from a company as a result of COVID no call-backs, long delays, being kept in the dark on a project, etc. ProBuilt set appropriate expectations from the start, was super responsive and communicative throughout the process, and made sure we were absolutely satisfied with their work no questions asked.We definitely would recommend ProBuilt and would absolutely use them in the future for a sun room, patio, deck, or hot tub needs.
