Saw a car we liked online and went in the same day. Dylan hooked us up! No pressure, super friendly, and a really relaxed experience. From start to finish (including an hour test drive) we were headed home in a new car in about 3 hours. Such an easy experience. Fred was also great to work with!

Scheduled an appointment through their online portal for some glass repair. When I got there, they were extremely confused. They told me they didn't have the resources to repair my windshield and use a third party provider who was not scheduled to be out there that day. That part is fine, but why would you allow this to be scheduled through your website if this is not something that you can actually do? On top of that, the guy told me that he saw my appointment on their calendar before I even got there. So, you couldn't call me before I drove all the way out there and let me know? Or if you had questions you couldn't call me to clarify?

Bought a car and 3 months later the car was in the shop for several warning lights, hard shifts, and no power to get up hills. Was told it was a system update which was completed and the problem was not fixed. The car has been in and out of the shop and is currently there for the 7th week straight only to know will be several more weeks! Shame to pay for a car that sits in a shop! I trusted them for a good car and they did not deliver! I trusted them to fix the problem and they did not deliver! Go elsewhere!!!!

Traded in my 2012 Volt to get a 2020 Explorer. Loved my little car but the new one is amazing. Went in for an oil change on one car & I was looking at cars to kill time.Mr Luther was patient with me & very helpful with all of my questions. He knew I was in love with my car & understood why I was hesitant. He made purchasing a car a very smooth process. Kirk was also very helpful as I came back & forth on, well everything.I feel like even if I wouldn't have purchased a vehicle I would have been welcomed back (I know it's about a sale but this was different from other car lots I had been to)I would highly recommend MAX FORD of RICHMOND. Service was great, everyone I had talked to was friendly & now I have a vehicle that fits everyone in my family.Thank you so much!

We found the Ford Edge we wanted in their website and decided to go look at it. We were met by Kirk while we were walking around the vehicle. Kirk was super nice with no pressure at all. He answered all our questions and assisted us through the entire process. Jim was great to work with when jt was time to settle on a price. Great experience all the way around. I would highly recommend giving them a chance.

By far the best, stress free car buying experience we have ever had! Highly recommended, will definitely refer friends and family too. We emailed Thursday night, received a call back within 10 minutes. Talked with Dylan about the vehicle we were interested in. He had the car picked up and brought to the dealership Friday morning and by Friday night we test drove and signed papers. Dylan was very informative and knowledgeable, a terrific sales associate! Fred , who handled the finance , was friendly and took his time to answer all of our questions. Even though we live a little bit away, because of the outstanding service we have received, we will be driving back for all of our service needs.THANK YOU Dylan and Fred, we appreciate the over and beyond great customer service!

Max ford is a joke ill never try to do business there ever again.. I deal with my own bank that is local in my area was approved thought things was goin good til they got disgusted that I didn't want to add warranty then getting all paperwork in order asked about documentation fees sent it over there was one caught my banker eye she called asked about what it was FRED in financing got rude and hung up. So the one star I gave shouldn't be a star found another truck picking it up today max ford you lost a sale and possibly a repeating customer

Car shopping was more intense than I expected. Trying to find something that fits all your wants and needs out of a car. Working with someone who is knowledgeable and patient and not just a robot looking for a sale. Shane Ott exceed my car buying expectations. He truly went above and beyond getting me into something I wanted and really loved at the best price. I can not thank him and the team at Max Motors enough for making my car purchasing process so effortless. 11/10 service and selection!!

DISHONEST. I decided I wanted to purchase a new vehicle after seeing an advertisement from Max Motors Richmond on Facebook offering up to 130% trade value on your vehicle . After choosing a new truck to purchase I was given an offer for my trade that s well below KBB fair price value. First I was told that I m not eligible for the 130% trade-in value because I get employee discount on my new vehicle purchase but that s against Ford policy so now they're saying they didn t say that. I have a voicemail from the salesman making this statement. Now they re telling me my trade-in vehicle is worth way below what KBB actually says. They even hashtag #KBB at the bottom of the ad but later say KBB is only a reference and not actual values. The sales manager Jim cannot give me an explanation of who or what situation the 130% trade in advertisement applies to. Right now their best offer is 18% less than KBB fair trade value. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB for blatant false advertising. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I took my vehicle to the service department for an alignment after major front end repairs. They were very timely, courteous, pleasant and gave me updates to the work being performed as I waited in their lounge area. I had thought my car might need repairs for the rear suspension but after the alignment my car performed so well I decided my car did not need any further repairing and has driven so smooth and straight down the road since the alignment. I don't think it ever has driven so well since the car was initially purchased as a new vehicle from another Ford dealership over 16 years ago. I highly recommend this service department as the place to go for all your car repair and service needs.

I actually purchased by car from this dealership in 2022 and waited almost a year to write my review just in case my experience was too good to be true. Kirk was my salesman, and if I could buy every car I ever own from him I would. I tell anyone I know looking to buy to drive out and visit him. Him as well as several other people in the office went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to leave with the vehicle that I really wanted and that continues to make me happy. This includes staying until well after close to make the sale, fixing an issue that I had with my headlight immediately following purchase without any problems, and even entertaining my 6 year old while closing the deal. I truly can not say enough good things about this dealership and the people that work here. Don't hesitate to go here and be matched with the car of your dreams!

Purchased a Suburban the beginning of Sept., had it delivered to WI and still have not received the title, despite multiple contacts with the dealership! We also never received any other paperwork, except for a ticket showing it was delivered. In the state of MO, it is illegal to sell a vehicle without a title. The title is to be given at the time of sale. As this point we are 6 weeks and waiting. The dealership first told us it take 3-4 months to get a title, then we were told end of Oct. with a check, then overnighted on 10/16. Still nothing. This leaves me to contact the FTC, Attorney General and the MO Dept. of Revenue Dealer Licensing Section, plus a consult with a lawyers office in MO. The title either had a lien on it or the dealership never had it. Where is my title and paperwork??!! Buyers beware, chose another dealership!!

I asked to get tires rotated as owners manual said at every oil change. They only rotated two tires, not all fours tires like owners manual says.

Best experience ever buying a car. Kirk was an excellent salesman, easy going, no pressure. With very little haggling he put me in the car I wanted. Place was spotless and everyone was very friendly. I will be taking my car back for service when needed.

In the last month I spent $1600 at Max Ford Dealership trying to get my car running right again. Over $1000 of that was labor cost. Imagine my shock when my check engine light came on not 30 miles after getting my car back. Being a single girl. I had to call my Dad to come help me. I was broke at this point too. They had forgotten to hook up a hose causing a vacuum leak. (yes, not the worst problem but they are supposed to be professionals) I filled out the survey for them to call me after waiting 2 weeks. I called them and spoke to Cody the service manager and he lied and told me he'd call back. I gave him 2 days and nothing. Being a ford worker myself I was trying to support my local ford dealership but ill be taking my business anywhere else at this point.

If I could give them a negative star review I would. Do not take your car to this dealership. My Ford Fiesta broke down and I took it to our local mechanic to look at it. He identified the transmission as the issue and told me to take it to Ford because my car is not anywhere old enough or high enough mileage to have this issue. I brought it in and told them exactly what he told me including the transmission fluid being black. Swafford said it was a warranty issue and "fixed" it. Last week I left work to go to my car and it would not accelerate or reverse. Transmission again. I had it towed back to them. They are claiming they never touched the transmission fluid even though they replaced parts and serviced it-and the repair would have required them to change the transmission fluid. My transmission is now completely burnt up and my car is undrivable. They are telling me I have to pay them 7000 to replace a transmission they screwed up on a 5 year old car That is under 100,000 miles and has been regularly serviced. I tried to have Ford corporate call on a three way call with me to talk to them. They refused to take the call and talk to me with corporate on the phone.Update:As of October 2023 Ford has admitted fault and paid me back in full after years of fighting. Shame on you Max Ford. Your staff knew about these issues. Your staff knew it wasn't my fault and tried to charge me 7+ grand.
