They rebuilt a 5 speed transmission for my BMW 2002. I was very hesitant to send my transmission to them having had a few bad experiences in the past. Jim Rowe answered all my questions and put me at ease with any questions I had about the rebuild process. I learned a bunch of other BMW stuff too just spending time talking to him on the phone. People like Jim that take the time to share their years of knowledge with individuals like myself are irreplaceable. I finally managed to get my rebuilt transmission mounted and in the car and so far it has exceed everything I could have hoped for. I would not hesitate to use them again!!

What was a search for a simple part three years ago, turned into not only a wonderful professional relationship, but also a personal friendship. Jim, Teddy, Tyler, Taren and Christina made me feel like a part of the Metric Mechanic family and do so to this day. The products they create are second to none in terms of quality and proven performance both on and off track. I plan to continue buying their products until I run out of money!

They are the best BMW shop I had ever dealt with. They rebuilt my 260 getrag out of my E28. Super strong at a reasonable price. Just recently Jim gave me a part that was discontinued. Great place!!

Let me start by saying I am a retired mechanic. The quality of the machine work they turn out is top notch. The the skill level,precision & dedication of the machinists & mechanics to there craft & job at hand is unrivalled. Wether it's your daily driver or flat out race engine. In my opinion...If your looking for the best look no farther. Your just a phone call away wether it's your dial commuter or dream machine. & these gentlemen are all top notch professionals.

The crew over Metric have been nothing but stand up. They have forgotten more about BMW engines and transmissions than I have ever learned.
