I took my vehicle for an alignment. They had it a day and I had to call several times to get it back. Once I received it the steering wheel was crooked. I called them the next day and they instantly blamed the vehicle. I had already paid them 150.00 for the alignment. I took the vehicle back to them and they told me they would work it in. 4 days later after I had called every day to check on it they told me that I needed my rack bushings replaced. They quoted 1300.00. I told them no. They then told me that one of the mechanics can shim the bushings to get by. I again said no. I picked the vehicle up and wow the steering wheel was straight. FYI there is a little set screw on the steering column that allows you to do this magic trick. I drove home and ordered new bushings for 50.00. Last weekend I finally got around to replacing the bushings. I removed the passenger wheel which had 5 lug nuts when I took it to them. Low and behold one of the lug studs had been snapped off. No pieces anywhere to be found. I called them again and again they blamed me and the vehicle. They then told me that it is perfectly safe to drive with 4 lug studs... I think the engineer that designed the hub put 5 on for a reason, but hey 80% isn't bad. Unless the wheel wobbles and works other lug nuts off. Oh and 2 of the other 4 lug nuts were tiny junk lug nuts, not the shouldered acorn ones it had on it when dropped off. If you value your loved ones don't use this shop!!! It wouldn't be so bad if they had just told me they broke it, but not telling anyone and covering it up is just sad, lazy, and completely wrong.

We bought a tire from there for our new car, we had an appointment for 10 and waited an hour before. They told us it would be another hour before they could even look at the car to get the tire put on. They cannot keep help because of some internal issues they have. They were friendly people, just not in a good place for customers. If you go there, expect to spend a lot of time.

I took my car in to have my driver's side window looked at, all fluids and tires checked, as well as why my Tire Sensor light stayed on, even after airing the tires. I am so glad I did. The customer was amazing, and my car runs like a dream. I just have a couple more things that need to be done, and I will definitely take it back to them.

I needed to refill my air pressure and I saw that I was literally two minutes from them. I went to them and they didn't charge me a dime for filling my air pressure, even when they had customers. I offered a tip, but they told me I wasn't obligated to do that. But my appreciation for the service they did moved me to give them a tip. Because of their outstanding customer service, they have earned a customer for any tire needs. Thanks again to them for doing a kindness, even in the cold.

I came here a couple weeks ago to have some ATV tires dismounted so I can get the wheels powder coated. Just stopped by today and the guy was extremely rude and said they couldn't get to them until next week.I can do the mounting myself but I already had paid $50.00 and was told to bring them back in and they would mount them for free. I have been to this location a half dozen times getting ATV/Lawn mower tires dismounted/mounted and they always worked them in and always polite and professional.If you don't want to do it or don't want my business just say that Instead of being rude and telling me it will be a week to do a 15 minute job!!!

The manager of the Bolivar store was assisting in the Republic store when I came in. He not only tried to help me get the best deal but also pointed out some serious issues that I was unaware of at the time and saved me from having two blown tires! Super nice man loved the service he provided!

Everyone there were nice, respectful and informative about our flat tire and replacing. Just changing a tire out they checked fluids, inspected for any potential problems. Was greatly appreciated. Will definitely go back if needed. Thank you.

Chris Terril no such thing as a set screw on the column lol and nobody told you they could shim up any bushings . This place has a good reputation for a reason

I hope my experience is unique and others have not encountered the issue I have on more than one occasion. After using them for my car maintenance and repairs for years, I find myself looking for another shop. The last few times I have taken my car there, I have had to have them clean the oil and grease from the inside of my car. I am not talking a small finger print or smudge either. It's been on seats, doors and other areas where the tech had sat and touched in the car. This has happened too many times to be acceptable and it doesn't seem they have taken any steps to prevent the problem.

Told them I needed tires and they told me how I could get a line of credit there when I need it, the gentlemen sent me a link, the app took less than 5 minutes and I was Approved. I have decent credit not perfect at all, for reference. Happy tire shopping

My spouse & I were traveling across the country when one of our tire valves started leaking. Not only did they fit us in on a busy Saturday, but they even got us in earlier than expected so we could get back on the road ASAP. While fixing that leak, they found another valve leak in a different tire. Both issues were fixed for less than $50. Beyond the efficiency and cost effectiveness, the customer service was fantastic. Josh was who we spoke with directly and he was so helpful and reassuring. It was clearly a busy day and they were booked up all day but Josh was unerringly kind to everyone who came in, doing anything he could to be helpful. He was also honest and thoughtful in all his responses and explanations. He made an unfortunate & stressful situation for my family feel simple. We were cared for extremely well at Sawyer Tire! Highly recommend.

Not a whole Lotta places to go in Republic Missouri. Your options are pretty much Walmart if you re willing to wait 5 to 6 hours for just a tire patch Yokum but they re only help you out if you buy your tires from them or this place where there s a good group of guys willing to help out and took me only about an hour and I was out the door for a reasonable cost all around. I d take my car here anytime, especially over the other two options

Done visiting Sawyer to have tires mounted and balanced. They have doubled the cost to M&B a tire saying that "Corporate combined the two tire services into one. Now if you bring in a used tire to M&B you have to pay for the warranty services even though they don't apply to used tires."

Called about a trailer tire. Was told bring it in and they'd get me in and out in less than 1 hr. Got there spoke to Shane and as promised 46 min later was back on the road. Great and friendly customer service and the technicians was on top of everything as you would want to see at a professional shop. Definitely recommend and will be returning for future business.

I'm not usually one to try out a new mechanics shop or even use them but I must say I was highly impressed. These guys went above my expectations on everything and got me in same day. They treated my vehicle as if it were one of their own and did more than expected with what was asked. Everyone here is super friendly. Clean facility and reasonable prices.

I don't usually like making reviews good or bad. But buyer beware of this place. Or should I say women beware because they fully took advantage of a single mother coming in with her three kids. I went in saying that I think my CV joints were bad and at the end of it all they said my CV joints were fine and it was going to be over $2,000 to fix my car. I ended up taking the car to my Dad's Mechanic just to see if he could give me a better price on the part that they said I needed fixed. He ended up telling me that the part they said I needed fixed was completely fine and that it was my CV joints that were bad and he fixed those for me and now my car is not making any of the noises I was complaining about. This mechanic saved me thousands of dollars and I am so glad I reached out for a second opinion because I was fully going to pay this price for something I did not need. The customer service at this place was very nice but of course I guess if you're going to rip somebody off you have to be nice about it. I highly recommend everybody to stay away from this company.

We have had to air up a tire on our family car several times and eventually had to patch it. We took it to sawyer tire each time and they were so friendly and happy to help. They didn t charge us and we were back on the road within minutes. Highly recommend for any of your car needs!Service: TiresService: Tires

Came in as a walk in with a fleet vehicle (which I know can be a pain), Nathan got me right in and out, took care of me and got it done within 30-40 minutes. Recommend this place.

Worst place to work with for a CV axle replacement. Went here because of all the reviews being good and received the worst possible service ever. The first time the car was supposedly fixed sent me driving home 40 minutes away with a loose axle even after I called them and they said it was just needing an alignment. Husband took it back the next day they admitted it wasn't tightened enough so they were going to retighten it. After the second go-round was told everything was fixed but something was wrong with the transmission. Finally just took to Nissan service center which quoted whoever worked on the CV axle broke the outer casing so something that was originally $800 at CarX turned into a little over $3,000 to fix. Do not recommend going to them for anything. When we called and spoke to the manager Sean, was told they never worked on our car, but we have videos and statements.

They gave me a free examination followed by what I felt was a straightforward honest analysis of the issues I had and in what severity they should addressed. I was also able to set up a very simple payment plan of bi-weekly payments over the course of three months, which helped immensely with budgeting for the service. Definitely going to put them as first priority for any future services I need down the road.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

We came to them with an emergency situation. We needed a tire to travel on the interstate. They stopped what they were doing & got us in & out in short order. We will be doing all our future services there. Thank You Again for the Kindness & Great Service.

Great customer service. I believe the owner helped me. He was very personable, honest, and genuine; which are things I feel you don't find in many machanic shops(sorry). I love that it's a family running it and the little girl who kept me company as I waited on my oil change was the sweetest little thing!!

I had a flat tire, and I was in dire need to get repaired fast. They went and aired my tire in the pour rain just to make sure I didn't ride the rim. They plug the tire hole within 20 minutes. I'm so grateful! Much thanks!

My front tire had a small leak and other shops would not repair it. Well, Sawyer got the job done! The team there is very friendly and made me feel valued. If I could give these wonderful men 100 stars, I would!!!! It is a feeling of dread to be far away from home base knowing there is no one to come rescue my daughter and I. I had a tire going flat very quickly after traveling an hour down the highway to Republic to take my daughter to the dentist. I had to leave my daughter at the dentist office (she is 17 yrs old) and I immediately went to Sawyer Tire. They were booked solid for the day, but after hearing my predicament, a very kind gentleman instructed the guys to pull my car in the shop. They pulled my car in right away & found the problem. My tire couldn't be repaired due to an object in the sidewall. I had already ordered new tires so I chose not purchase a tire there. I chose to limp home instead. They gentlemen instructed me as to when I needed to stop & put air in my tire on my journey home. They also told me to be careful & it was genuine concern I felt from them. My very kind gentleman angel man even sang a little song for us as they were battling a loss of electricity from the snow. I was a stressed out hot mess when I entered Sawyer Tire on January 25, 2023. When I left I was confident everything would be okay on my journey home. I made it home perfectly fine where my new tires were waiting on me! I want to thank ALL the wonderful men at Sawyer Tire for their excellent service!!! I would recommend them to ANYONE that lives in Republic or ANYONE traveling through the area that needs automotive repairs.
