Paul is an honest and excellent mechanic. If you have a german car, this is the place for you to go because this is what he specializes in. I actually got recommended by another auto shop because my Mercedes was harder to fix for them. The price here is fair and the fixing time is fast as well. In my experience whenever I bring my car to a shop, I had to drop off the car there for a few days. But Paul fixed my car in just a few hours. Sort of disappointing. I ve had three separate appointments, one went quite well. The other two were bad experiences. Getting back a fixed car yet it did the same things, while leaving my trim on the floor and rags in the seat. Lastly leaving a vacuum gauge still attached to my lines and it was kept two days over what they first told me.

While in the process of buying a car, I knew I needed a pre-purchase inspection. After looking at a few other places, I ended up bringing the car here. I was really impressed with the service and turnaround. Paul was able to get me in the next day and fit me between some other things he had to do. He did a thorough inspection and gave me honest advice and feedback. I would highly recommend this place for any of your car needs.

The reviews are all true! Paul is amazing. He s honest, patient, trustworthy and so knowledgeable.I was a basket case because of the issue with my car and dealing with the warranty company but Paul was a professional and set my mind at ease. Will definitely go back when needed and will be sure to refer him to friends. Thanks!

A great family owned & operated auto repair center. We had our Subaru torque converter, timing belt, and more fixed there. Every promise was fulfilled, the car was fixed sooner than expected, and their pricing was awesome! Great honest people and highly competent technicians. I'm so glad to find an auto repair center in Republic that I can trust!

Great experience taking my VW Passat here recently. Another shop was concerned they were getting in over their heads with a problem. These guys handed it with no problem. My Passat will always come here!

I drive from Springfield to republic every time I need service to my car , is all well worth it , Paul is always there when I need him and he cares about his customers , always fair on the pricing and Excelent on the jobs

Paul is not only an amazing mechanic, he's just an all-around stand up dude! We live up in Kansas City and our daughter goes to college down in Springfield. She had a check engine light come on and her car started running really rough at about 4:00 one afternoon. I called my buddy Gene who is a car dealer down there and he said, "take it to Paul over at Autotechniks...he's honest and affordable...he will do you right..." So I took his advice and had her car towed out to Republic. Paul checked it out that afternoon...he didn't get the car until right around closing time...He called me and told me it was a spark-plug and wiring issue. He had her on the road the next day. 3 weeks later, my daughter was scheduled to come home for fall break. She told me about her brakes making a "scraping noise." I told her she needed to take the car to Paul again, but she said she didn't have time..."dad, I've got too much going on this week..." Fast forward to the day she's leaving to come home...she's driving and calls me telling me she almost hit a car in front of her because her brakes aren't really working very good now! Again, it was about 3 in the afternoon and I called Paul and told him the situation. If she could make it there, could he tell me if she would be safe to drive home to KC? He said, "sure, send her over...my lifts are full with repairs this afternoon, but I could maybe get her set tomorrow..." She makes it over there and Paul drives her car for about 5 seconds and says, "you can't take this car anywhere...do you have someone who can pick you up?" She told him, not really...He proceeds to get the parts and fix her car right then and there! I'm not saying he'll do this for you...just saying that's the kind of shop/owner/dad/good-dude he is! You should for sure go there with no hesitations! Amazing!!! Oh, also...I asked my daughter if the mechanic was nice and her response was, "oh totally...I could see you guys being friends if you lived closer!" Seriously, what the heck!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Friendly and knowledgeable people. Work was done in time frame given. Rates are reasonable as well. Stays pretty busy so appointment is good idea and may not be easy to find spot to drop car off. Very satisfied with the work done.

This place is a really good place to get your car fixed, filled with fluids, and more. The staff is really polite and helpful. They tell you what is wrong with the car and give you a good estimate. They don't make you pay for something that you don't want done. I will definitely come here again.

Paul is very knowledgeable and can legitimately do quality work on both domestic and import vehicles but more importantly, in a world full of bloodthirsty vampires disguised as service technicians who try to suck your soul out through your wallet, he is honest, fair and has very competitive prices.

I still think this is probably a great place to take your European car. Maybe even any make or model. Paul prefers drop offs. He is busy. Great guy. When I get time I will drop off an overheating 535i

My husband broke down traveling from Missouri to Arkansas. Tow company recommended Autotechniks. Towed the vehicle to them and they had him back on the road by noon the next day. Great service!

I'm thinking its been 12/14 years since i 1st met Paul.....wow..times a fly n.1st class man...1st class family...1st class shop...1st class skills.he's dedicated ... he's meticulous ... repairs are done right and if there is a problem...he stands behind his work & service.HONEST ...
