There were no cars in the bays when I showed up at 11am told I was 3rd in-line for an inspection. It s now 3pm. I have watched Derick spend 45 min screwing around in the shop. Then take 2 hours changing 4 tires. On 1 car. There was a total of 5 auto employees working. They have gotten 1 car serviced in the time I have been here. Theres no way this is a money maker for Walmart. It s clear the employees earn an hourly wage without benefits to get work completed.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I really hate dealing with the service ctr. Why do I have to wait five hours to get a dead battery changed. Make an appointment for everything just for a lower price, I can do it myself quicker watching a YouTube video. Smh

Price was decent, got in and out with an appt. Not a place to go without an appt usually 3 hours wait if you don't have one. Decently friendly mechanics.

The tire center employees are efficient with servicing vehicles. The scheduled appointment I made was acknowledged.

I was given a 3 hour wait time and it took every bit of it. Also, the techs were not the nicest or the most patient. They couldn't get my tire off and were going to refuse me service as they were worried about breaking a stud off and being responsible for it. I call bull, it was just close to closing time. So my boyfriend then rolled our car back out to the parking lot and took the tire off himself, rolled it back up to the shop to be serviced. We just needed the old tire off the rim and the new one put on and was told that we would get a balance for free (you know we didn't) At then end of the day, I'm not very happy. I paid them and then still had to do the hard part...... NOT HAPPY.

The staff took my keys telling me that they would start working on my oil change right away and then give me a call when it was finished. An hour later I went back to their desk and they informed me that there are still 3 vehicles ahead of me. Awful customer service.

I gave you guys my business and at first I thought things went well, and that I can finally be on the road with my 4 BRAND NEW TIRES! 3 days later on my way home from work one of my tires went completely flat, when I put the spare on I looked for a nail puncture or any evidence of a puncture in the tire and didn t notice any, I brought the car back to Walmart to have the tire fixed and they informed me that I would have to put a brand new tire on the car due to the severity of the damage, I was happy that I purchased the warranty for the tire, it saved me from purchasing a new tire. As I went to collect my key I was told that I would be charged $24 for new tire warranty and $2 to dispose of the old (New) tire. I asked to see the tire so I can see where the Nail went in, I was joined by the manager and we observed the tire to see the damage, there was absolutely no sign of damage from a nail or any sharp object whatsoever! It appeared to me that the tire was likely not installed probably and this led to it suddenly going flat. There shouldn t be any reason why a brand new tire that was just put on to suddenly go flat without it being punctured from a sharp object. The only reason I can see is that this was a installation error. I hate complaining about anything, I understand dealing with customers is very exhausting however, I feel like I was taken advantage of and that I should not have been charged for something that was out of my control. I realize nothing will likely happen to make things right so I will no longer use your services for any of my car needs.

They need to post signs for greater efficiency regarding services that customers are needing for their vehicles... I waited in a line at the service center desk for more than 30 minutes just to be told to go out to garage and sign in with mechanic There is absolutely zero signage at the auto center desk, or in the garage where the desk vaguely pointed me to go in which was through the door to the garage. There were not even any indication that there are different places customers are supposed to wait in line for different services. (which was another nearly 30 minute wait) and that was just to get my vehicle signed in...just to get a routine safety inspection. (Required by state of Missouri for all used vehicles for the purpose of obtaining proper vehicle licensure.) While waiting for the vehicle inspection to be completed, I asked several other customers, the young man at auto service desk, the mechanic who signed me in, as well as several walmart associates who passed area near auto service desk (they passed through auto service area to use the bathroom) if they could find any sort of signage indicating that customers were supposed to sign in with garage mechanic/personell for inspections or anything whatsoever which resulted with all replying "no."There is not a waiting area. I understand the marketing part, they want people to shop while their vehicles are being serviced. Im sure I'm not the only one that has had to wait more than 5 hours! On top of that, they were supposed to call me when my vehicle was done, of course somebody dropped the ball on that, when I asked the young man at the automotive service desk if my car was even going to get done during that business day, he replied "Oh, it's been done for a while."So FRUSTRATING!!

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. Before I went, I called and asked how busy it was. I was told there was only 1 car there being worked on at the moment. So I took my car there to have them patch a hole in my tire at around 7:30am on a Thursday morning. When I arrived, I was only the second car in line. After an hour and a half, I checked back in with the service counter. They informed me that there were now 4 people ahead of me. I thought that was strange because I was the second car in line when I arrived that morning. When I went to look out into the garage, not only were the same 2 cars still in there from the time I had walked in, but 4 of the 5 mechanics were all just standing around and playing pranks on each other. When I asked how long it would be, the person behind the counter told me they couldn't give out time estimates. When I informed them I had to attend a mandatory appointment at 10am, they said they couldn't help me with that. So I waited another 45 minutes. I checked back in with the counter, and they informed me that there were 3 people ahead of me still. Again, I looked out into the garage, and the same 4 mechanics were still standing around doing nothing. I finally had to get my keys and leave without the patch being done to my tire. When I informed the manager that no one was working in the garage, he just shrugged. I definitely won't be going back for any minor repairs/maintenance.

Sucked. Waited for 2 hours because they said 45 minute wait for oil change. Brought inside after 10 minutes inside they was standing near my car pointing at me. Then one walked over to me said can't change your oil don't have air wrenches to take skid plate off. It is a 2016 kia optima. No air tools Jesus

I went in because I was told by another oil change place that they couldn't perform my oil change because whoever did my last oil change stripped the plug. When I called to ask about it I had to call 4 times to try to talk to the Manager and then when I got ahold of one she didn't have the answers so she put me on hold to wait for the TLE manager. I remained on hold as I drove to the store and I pulled up (still on hold) parked and walked into the customer entrance at Automotive to find the person I was holding for was just hanging out in the bay on his phone. Then when I asked him how to go about fixing it, he looked it up and said "You got your oil changed at another store and you need to go back to them cuz I can't have their claims on my books" I later found out this is completely false. The Wal-Mart that damaged my car (which is a 3hr drive away) answered when I called and gave me all the info I needed to get it fixed because he didn't even tell me what I had to do, just that he couldn't help me.... I had a horrible and uninformed visit.

Very slow and disorganized. We needed 1 tire exchange on a trailer tire, that we took off of the trailer and carried in to the store. They said it would be 3-4 hours on a Sunday evening. They were doing a lot of tires but maybe in the future, have an extra person floating and doing small tasks like we had. This was our only choice as we were driving down the highway when it blew. The guy working inside at the counter was very nice.

Asked for oil change and to swap out the wheels and tires for another set i had in the bed of my truck. The gentleman that checked me in made a small mistake that caused the mechanic to think he was just too rotate the tires that were already on there. I understood the mistake and that's not why I'm giving a bad review but because when they took the truck back in to correct the error. My truck sat for 2 hrs untouched then when they decided to start working on it that made that last another hour and half. No balancing or changing tires to different rims but simply taking 4 off and putting a different set of 4 on. They handled the situationn poorly and very childish like

I very specifically described to 3 separate employees what I wanted done to my car. I specifically asked if they had time to do said services so that I wouldn't have to make multiple trips and wait in line multiple times, and I was assured that they had time. Now partially this is my fault for not double checking my receipt, but it probably wouldn't have mattered because it was closing time for automotive, and they were out shortly after dropping off my keys at the counter. I purchased two new tires and specified I wanted the value install package (this is supposed to include several things including valve stem replacement). I requested that the best two of the original four tires be put on the rear and the new tires to go on the front. I requested new valve stems for the rear tires as well and a TPMS reset. I had to remind the gentleman entering my service order that I also needed an oil change. My tire light is still on and I don't see charges for valve stem replacement, so I'm guessing that part didnt happen. I called to talk to management in hopes that if I drove the 45 minutes to get back out there, that perhaps I could not have to wait another 2-3 hours. I was told that I would have to wait like everyone else because they couldn't just push me to the front of the line when I got there because that would make customers angry. What, I dont count as an angry customer?! I wouldn't be coming back out if your techs had done what I asked in the first place!

I'm use to getting below service from Walmart staff. However, the Auto Center provided the service I needed and gave me additional information for necessary repairs and estumated industry cost ratio. I appreciated the care given to my vehicle and the extra step at a price I could afford.

Staff is very friendly, but they need to implement a save your spot in line feature. I sat inside a rather boring walmart for 3 hours for a tire change due to first come first serve system in place.

Went in for a new tire they broke the post and of course couldn't fix it themselves. So I went to Maywood Auto Center the next day and they were awesome they fixed it and had me on my way in 20 minutes. I did go back to Walmart and made them reimburse me for it. After waiting 45 minutes for manager to finally come up to the customer service desk I was able to get my reimbursement.

Nice bunch of guys and gals worry about hearing this Auto Care center trying to make your day better by getting your ride going so you can get to work and where you need to go! Very helpful and honest bunch of folks and it's very noticeable When they tell you there's a hole inside of your tire and they can't fix it properly because it's against their policy and charge you nothing like a shop should way to go Walmart!

Waited in work bay for 15 mins, with services techs passing me repeatedly, never greeted, even a desk worker came out, nothing. I eventually went inside and asked the same desk person that ignored me, for service. She replied that I could go outside and someone would serve me. I noted that I had been here nearly 20 mins, and nobody could even bother saying hello, or acknowledging that I was there for service, including her. She said I should go back out to the service bay, and she'd have someone help me. I went back out, 5 mins later, she had done nothing to advance my needs. The other guy that is normally working the desk wandered through the bay randomly, and immediately greeted me, and asked if I had been helped. Finally, 30 mins later. He took my info and my keys, and let me know it would be about 2 hours. Just have a slow leak in a tire I purchased there, that has a road hazard warranty, a 15 min job. Going on 2.5 hours as I write this, just had to call in to let them know I'll be late to work.

Went bnb in here with my mother for a few quick things and while we were there we saw a gentleman outside working to get a tire off of his RV and he told us he had been to sturgis and still had 16 hours more to drive and he blew two tires on his RV. This man was exhausted and the young guy working refused to help him remove the tires and while we were talking to him he refused to even carry them in for this poor guy and was very rude. I spoke with a manager but I am still very disappointed in the guys attitude and lack of customer service ability...

Dear Manager,I came into the automotive station to just test a battery I bought here. It was 2:30pm on a Sunday. A lady had been there longer than I had been. We finally started talking! She had been there since 12:30pm to get a oil change. While we were sitting there, both mechanic's on duty was Behind the counter with a gentleman called Jack. I finally asked, who is working in the bays? One replied, I'm not alloud to work on anything in till a tect is out the with me. One was looking up something and the other was just standing. He also kept answering the phone when Jack at least could have done thatAT 3:00pm, We were both still sitting. I finally said this is totally uncalled for. We would like to speak to a manager. A Lady by the name Dorothy came and acted like she couldn't do anything. She finally said she would pull a cashier off the front to come back here. I decided to call other Walmart stores to ask what the procedure is on testing the battery. All of them said if they could put it on the large machine it would tips take 90 minute's. No more! It was almost 4:00pm when I left and for the other lady, she just gave up and left. Now you tell me, would you come back to Walmart for anything to do with automotive?Unsatisfied Customer!Vicki Very Poor Service

The cashier was very nice and helpful. The wait was ridiculous...got a new tire less than a month ago because it was flat they didnt have my tire in stock so it took 2 days to get a tire in...a week later we are adding air to the same tire. I think there is a small leak in the tire...called them and they said i would have to wait yet again for them to look at it and the wait will be 3 hours. They also dont have my tire in stock and it will be about 2 days until they get one in. So in a months time i will have waited 4 days and 6 hours for a tire to be replaced. WALMART YOU SUCK!!!!

50~60% less than National Oil Change chains (Jiffy, Valvoline, etc) 60~75% less than dealerships.Plus, since I buy tire sets from them *also cheaper...*Every oil change includes 4-tire balance check, any needed re-balancing AND tire rotation ($14/tire x4) ALL included in the oil change price.Oh! You want to know how much I paid for the Oil change?Eh. That makes sense:0-20w, full synthetic, 4.4qts...$37 & change.Sales. Tax. Included.THAT, is cheaper, quicker, safer, and, a better use of my time & $$ than doing it myself.Walmart Auto, FTW.

Work done was ok, but my biggest complaint is that i was quoted a time of 1hr 15min, which would have gotten me out in time to make a doctors appointment, but they took 2hrs.. so i missed my appointment. If they had given me a correct time i would have waited. Also, i was the only customer. Then they told me it would be 10 more minutes... 25 minutes later and they were done. So original time quoted was 1hr 15min, actual time 2hrs 25min.

No sign above person taking tickets, and no acknowledgement when we came in for an oil change. A 30 minute wait turned into over 2 hours because we went into the auto center counter (like you would expect) to be immediately redirected to a random person in the garage. After trying to get an oil change at 4 different Walmart locations for over a week on a very tight schedule it was extremely frustrating to have to leave again.Don t bother with Walmart - it s not worth the time.

Fairly professional for a tire and lube place. Competitive pricing. A little slow sometimes but overall pretty decent.
