Mike tesino from raymore. They pulled my transmission out which was shifting hard and late, rebuilt it and reinstalled it in a week they also replaced a bad transmission mount. Great price, great work and very knowledgeable people. I will recommend them to everyone

These guys are great. My girlfriend broke down near these guys shop while on a 4,000 mile trip. These guys were very good to us. The pricing was more than fair, and the communication on these guys part was excellent. My father is a retired transportation director, he said these guys are as fair and accurate as you can find. If I could give more than 5 stars, I sure would! I was checking places to have my transmission diagnosed & they were the only ones that didn't charge to do so. That was the first indication that I had found the right place. They got me in right away & I was so impressed when I got there! They were very professional & friendly at the same time. Jeff explained everything to me , told me the cost & got my van in quickly. It turned out not to be the sensor, but squirrels had chewed through the harness wires, which he said might be the case. Had he not been honest, he could have charged me way more & I never would have known the difference. My van runs fantastic now & I'm thrilled with the whole encounter! There are very few honest, reliable mechanics that don't tend to take advantage of people (especially older women) anymore, but Jeff is one of the few, an absolute treasure! I highly recommend them to anyone, especially women that are worried about being taken advantage of!Service: Transmission

The shop had some nice people and were able to get me in quickly. The transmission rebuild took less than a week. There were some issues where my car wouldn't go in reverse. I called and they were able to get it back in the shop and repaired fast and honored their warranty.

Called and told them what was going on. They quickly scheduled a time for me to come in. Within about 20 minutes, Jeff found the problem and came to talk to me. I feel I got a real honest opinion and a very good quote on replacing my transmission. This place is Amazing!! The Owner Rocks and is patient and understanding and pretty dam good at what he does! He has fixed 2 of our transmissions and the price was fair and he did them both in a timely manner..I will continue to go here for all my transmission and transfer case needs! I will also recommend RAMM transmission to all of my family, friends, and neighbors. Thanks again!!

I run a a small fleet of service vehicles, and I have bought MANY transmission repairs in the last 38 years. No other shop has earned any loyalty from me.Their repairs last longer than any other shop I have used, and they really saved my business by overhauling a non-warranty repair on a snow removal weekend. We have had a few small issues on some of the repairs, but they have always fixed it with no complaint of extra fee.If you are looking for a slick, high-end service facility, you'll need to go elsewhere. They have grease on the floor and a gravel parking lot. If you just want to get a good repair at a good price by some good folks, go on out to their location and talk about what you need done.Service: Transmission

Jeff at RAMM was very professional and friendly. He communicated excellent if there were any changes speaking with me before doing anything additional. Had some additional work needed done still the time frame I was given by Jeff was very accurate and ensured he informed me of any form of delays.I asked him to check something else he was quick to troubleshoot my problem and give me the worst senerio estimate I requested. I would recommend RAMM to anyone needing transmission work!

They are wonderful people. I got screwed on my last transmission fix. And took my car to them and in just a couple of days my baby was back on the road. Driving smooth. If you have transmission problems go here. They are awesome.....

I've been using RAMM for many years and when I tell you they are honest they are extremely helpful and honest I took my BMW to the dealership due to my transmission. Was slipping and fluid all over my garage the dealership says there was a huge transmission leak and they need to replace my transmission for 8 thousand dollars today when Jeff did a diagnostic of my transmission he found the only leak was from the transmission pan he fixed it for less than 300.00 hmm it always pays to get a second opinion thanks Jeff.Service: Transmission

RAAM rebuilt the transmission is my Grand Prix GTP last year and it is holding up great. Shifts smooth when light on the throttle, but also nice and firm when I put my foot into the pedal. The work was done at a great price and the rebuild was done in a timely manner. Thanks!

Really loved this place, and they really helped me out. After having some issues with my control solonoid, I replaced it but didn't put the valve body back in correctly. But lucky Jeff at R.A.M.M transmission fixed it up in a little under 2 hours and was not that expensive.

I dropped my vehicle off to Rex at R.A.M.M. Transmission on. Nov 3rd, 2016 to have the transfer case rebuilt/installed as well as transmission seal replaced and installed. I was informed the job would take a day, maybe two. After being told repeatedly it would be ready the following day. I would call hours ahead, then take off of work, only to show up to learn it wasnt ready yet. It was finally "finished" on November 30th. Four weeks after dropping the vehicle off. I pick the vehicle up around noon, point out an abnormal sound, am told it will "should go away", but am back at the shop by 5 p.m. begging he fix the sound which he confirmed appeared to be from the transfer case he had installed. He says he's too busy to fix and tells me to drive it until Monday when he'll have the time. I drop it off Monday, December 5th and am told it would be ready by Tuesday evening. Both Tuesday and Wednesday I call ahead to confirm it will be ready only to show up and be told it wasn't. On Thursday Rex calls and informs me he isn't quite finished and will need until noon on Friday, December 9th. At 5 p.m. I call and am told "She's running great!" I inform Rex I am on my way and will see him soon to pick up my vehicle and to pay off my balance. Upon arrival I find my vehicle with the keys in it, the shop lights on but doors locked, and for the 1st time in 6 weeks the voicemail was full leaving me unable to leave a message. Once I start my vehicle I discover that not only is the sound I dropped it off to have fixed still there but now there's new noise and many check engine lights on when there were none before. I am later informed that the sound is the torque converter coming apart and the new sound is from where the exhaust was improperly installed causing damage to the exhaust manifold requiring replacement which Calvert's Express Auto on 350 hwy in Raytown quoted me at $600-$800. Midwest Transmission also located on 350 hwy quoted the torque converter at $2475.00 for replacement. I don't know for a fact that Rex is responsible for damage to my torque converter but there is no question that his mishandling of my exhaust while installing transmission/transfer case is what caused the damage to my exhaust manifold. If nothing else a transmission shop should have known what the noise was and not required another week to still not diagnose it. I've left many messages in the time since with no response. The 8 trips to pick up my vehicle that required leaving work early and missing wages, combined with the amount of gas it took were a minimum of $45 per trip. This was beyond inconvenient. This is my only transportation for my wife and daughters and now we are forced to drive it with the windows down during winter due to the bad exhaust leak from the damaged exhaust manifold. The worst part is that Rex came so highly recommended from a close mechanic friend. I would strongly urge you to compare other shops in the area before doing business here as it was an absolutely dreadful experience which has left me questioning the decency of people.

I ll be picking up my 96 Tahoe Monday 12/13/21 with a brand new rebuilt transmission with warranty and papers if I m ever gonna take my vehicle anywhere to get transmission work it s gonna be this place the owner has always been friendly helpful takes care of my vehicles keepsHis shop clean and has the work completed within days not weeks or months and he always does the job rite I gotta give em 5 stars and of the most highly recommended place in the Kansas City/raymore mo area thx again to ramm very reputable business I ve been here many times and I will always continue this
