I have taken my vehicles here for several years. This last time we ran into a very perplexing electrical problem. JT tested EVERYTHING on my truck and never gave up until he felt we had conquered the issue. I really appreciated that he never gave up on my truck. He went way beyond what any other shop would have done!

I have used JT&M a couple times now for both of my vehicles. Brakes on one and CV Axle and brakes on the other. JT is always very nice and forthcoming with all explanations. The time frame and pricing has blown away my expectations. I had to get a new gas tank and was going to go through insurance. The owner is very short and rude from the start. I was told he could install a used tank for $498, which was less than my deductible so I opted for that. All this took place on Monday and I was told I would have my truck by Thursday. Thursday rolls around and I have heard nothing. I'm right around the corner, so I went by around 4:40. They were already closed and hadn't even started on my truck yet. Called Friday morning and had another unpleasant conversation with the rude owner. They finished my truck, and since I couldn't be there before they closed, I paid over the phone and was told he would leave my keys in the visor. When I picked my truck up, I found that my keys were in the ignition, in the on position and my battery was nearly dead. Then I looked at the receipt and found my total was $565 dollars on the written invoice including tax, but my card was charged for $585. Not sure where the extra 20 came from... I was charged $12 for "shop supplies" $25 for a non-legible charge, $10 for gas. (He told me he put a couple gallons in it) when I filled up right across the road I found he only put in .8 gallons. So I was charged $10 for $3 of fuel, and $20 dollars in mystery money. And to top all this off, now my check engine light is on, which was not on when I dropped off my truck. How this shop is 35+ years in is shocking to me. I've been alive and traveled long enough to have had my truck in many different shops. This is without question the worst shop and worst experience I have ever had. Never in a million lifetimes would I recommend anyone go here. Dishonest, poor communication, disrespectful, you name it. Never again. I'm not even going to try to go back to them for the engine light. I'll pay extra if need be to go anywhere else.

Finding a good and honest auto shop has always been a concern for me. That being said, I have taken both of my vehicles to J&Ms and they have been nothing less than fair with thier fees and the quality of service exceeded my expectations.

My family has been going there 30+ years. My son needed some work done on an older car and was told they would get to it in a couple weeks. When he called he was told they did not want to work on his car. I guess JT has become wealthy enough over the years to be picky about what jobs he does. I guess 30 years of loyalty means nothing if the job is tough. Never go back and will definitely not recommend them to anyone. To bad, I like using local businesses.

I am glad I see all the reviews that actually show and describe how horrible these people treat customers. I have been using them to fix all the vehicles myself and spouse use (3) cars but, I started understanding that everytime I take my vehicle there it develops another fault as soon as you get it back. My air conditioning was fixed on 07-25-2023 at this place for $1050 dollars which was initially communicated to me via phone as $960. I used my vehicle on that same day just to go to work and then back & air was cooling then on 07-26-2023, I was driving to work and noticed the air just gassed out of my car and my cooling changed. I lowered my air all the way to 63 degrees to get cooling but I still don t feel it and when I drive my car I feel there s something affecting something from how it started driving since then and more outter air in my car when driving than air that comes from the air unit. I took my car back this morning and explained to the guy that was there A very RUDE and arrogant guy with zero communication skill. He just took my vehicle and drove it into their garage and went on to check what was going on without communicating with me. When I called them back to understand why I fixed my air with so much money and yet not getting the worth for my money, this arrogant rude boy told me to wait for their boss. I waited and started calling after about an hour or so my line got cut off and my call stopped connecting. I explained to my spouse and we went there and got my car back. They said my air cool on 60 degrees and I m wondering why I have to turn my air to 60 degrees to get any cooling which I still think is not justified. I usually use it on 70 never gone below 67. My spouse love this place and it took us time to see that they are not the same when you make them your number 1 go to. They are very non-challant, dismissive and very unpleasant to deal with. I will never recommend this people to anyone again ever. I will never use them again, no one I know will use them again and with time all these reviews will catch up with them. No conscience! No customer service! No sincerity and above all just all about taking 900 to $1000 plus on every repair without actually repairing anything. I will continue to return my car until it gets fixed and if this will end up in a civil court we will do it because this is outrageous. Then they act like everyone they meet must speak all American accent, always pretending not to understand what I m speaking or trying to re-fix. You understand my accent before you took my cash but, after you take my cash you start turning your nose up like forcing yourself to understand me. This place annoyed me and unfortunately I can t do anything about it. But I will make sure I leave my review anywhere I see this company. They don t deserve half a star!!!Service: Air conditioning

First, let me tell you I am a young girl. I went in for a car inspection and they failed me saying I needed to replace my brake shoes. They told me they would charge $230 to replace. I decided to hold out and take my car to another mechanic. Turns out my break shoes were in great condition. It worries me that I was close to paying so much for something that was not even wrong.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Just to follow up Travis H. Review, the mystery amount charged on the card. The last time I got my car fixed there recently he told me the amount swiped the card. I went to my vehicle and realized it was almost 40 dollars more than he told me he was swiping my card for. So I marched back inside, the owner had left his desk and that's when I saw the little sign that says they charge 3 percent( this percent amount may be wrong) to use a card! I have never been told about this extra amount they charge. They know most people will use a debit or credit card and a lot of people are unaware of this fee they charge! SO IF AT ALL POSSIBLE PAY WITH CASH AT THIS PLACE. They are extremely expensive and they are making a small fortune off that fee alone!!

11/10 would recommend. The owner is a class act ! They are personable, knowledgeable, and quick. The best part is that they will not rip you off they are integrity driven.

J.T. & crew are patient, reliable, and very knowledgeable. They won't perform any work that's not reasonable, to the issue at hand. It's the only place I'll take my SS!

Heard great things about JT & M so went for a quote about our busted drivers' side mirror. Other place wouldn't let me get a simple replacement mirror without the bells and whistles. Was going to force me to spend the money on the expensive OEM and all the charge to calibrate it. I asked the JT & M if I got a simple replacement mirror would they put it on and he said sure thing. Even did it for less than his original quoted price (which was fair to begin with!) I definitely found where I will be taking my vehicles going forward.

So glad I found this place. The owner is honest and fast. Had my car back in less than 4 hours. I was expecting to hear my compressor was shot and pay a ton, but he recharged it and got it back to me fast. I can't recommend this place enough.Service: Auto A/C rechargeService: Auto A/C recharge

Love this shop! I had such an amazing experience here. My car overheated because of a leak in the middle of a road trip, took it in at 4 pm and they had it fixed and we were on the road again before 5. All for a very reasonable price. Jt was very friendly to us, even drew us a map to our destination and recommended an awesome BBQ place to stop at on the way. I highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Don't go to a big named shop. They try to rob you of your money. JT won't do that, he's one of the last auto repair shops that hold honesty as a high order. He deserves your business. Trust me.Services: Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioningServices: Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioning

My husband's family has been using JT&M automotive for years. I was willing to take our vehicles there as the price was so much cheaper than other places.In the past I have not appreciated his attitude but shrugged it off as long as the work was fine. I will not be returning after this latest round with him. I took my car in and asked for estimates on 4 repairs that had been an issue. Two were recent and two were items I had brought my car in for before only to be told there was no issue. I specifically wrote that he was not to make ANY repairs before contacting me as we are in the process of trying to replace this particular car.When he finally called with an update he has proceeded with a repair without my consent on one to the reoccurring issues that hadn't been an issue before(despite my repeatedly taking it in). It was a large issue that made driving my car dangerous. Normally I might have said do it, but we had set a limit on the repairs we were willing to do.After that he continued to find nothing wrong with two of the three other issues I brought it in for(and complained that he would be able to find issues better if I allowed him to repair things as he went). He lied to my husband and told him I had consented to that repair and when my husband went to pick my car up proceeded to belittle and talk down to my husband telling him that we had a propensity for hitting potholes which was causing the third issue that I did not let him fix. I have hit one pothole(side of the road that had eroded away) in the five years I've had this car and somehow that = propensity for hitting potholes.Long Story concluding, bad service, bad attitude and bad customer service will see the leaving of a longtime family customer.

So friendly! Mechanics were knowledgeable and able to quickly diagnose the problem with my car.Reasonably priced, and they took me back home while they worked on my car, AND picked me up when it was done!!Never had that kind of service before!!

They were very helpful and efficient, cost was more reasonable than I'd been quoted at other places. The waiting room is pretty small so don't bring your kids if you can avoid it, but overall a very good experience.

Daughter goes to USI, I live 4 hours away... This M & M Auto repair Company is Great! she a few car issues over the past couple years, they fixed quickly and at a Good Price.. Comforting to have them on our side!

I have been going to JT for over 30 yrs he is great with customers and alway give a fair price. The mechanics very knowledgeable and exceptional and goes over and beyond to give great experience. Their the best in town.

I enjoy the friendliest I receive when I'm in the shop. Both owner and son know there busy. When I bring my truck into the shop to get looked at they find the problem and fix it. I am pleased with the job.

Was told not to fix before talking to me. Worked on it anyway. Charged a ridiculous amount. Guess what , wasn't fixed! Refuses to give me an itemized list of what was done. This was in oct, still hasn't done it. JT is a pain to deal with. Do not recommend this business to anyone! They couldn't fix a toy car!

They do good and dependable work. The owner however, can come off as short and abrupt which translates into mean spirited. I recommend this shop if you are somewhat thick skinned.
