Do not waste your money at this place! My unit got robbed and the insurance you are FORCED to carry will not cover it. They have no problem raising your rent every year but the property does nothing to protect your unit. If this is your last resort to rent here find a different insurance company to cover you. DO NOT use their recommended insurance. Central Storage & the insurance company make sure to make you feel like a valued customer by making it known it s my fault I got robbed even with a lock on it!! Thanks Central Storage!

I have had a unit here for 3 years. I think the building was Q so we had an inside unit. I always found the place to be clean and had easy access. I paid late a few times which was a pain but they always called so I wouldn't have excessive late fees. I moved out this month and had no problems. Thanks Taylor for making the process easy. My dad has a unit here that is an outside unit. If you are concerned with the cleanliness of the unit, I recommend an indoor unit rather than one with doors exposed to the elements and small critters.

Absolutely the worst self-storage experience I've ever had. Here's why:-Unit was dirty and had debris. There were no less than 6 nails and screwed throughout the premises that could have resulted in tire damage.-Their claim of "30 days free" is a lie; because they "(we) don't pro-rate", if you rent a unit at the end of the month you end up having to pay for the subsequent month, even if you move out before the 30 day mark. That's not "30 days free"; period.-Rude office staff who couldn't explain billing; they had to call the manager. Untrained and unprofessional (put down your personal cellphone when a customer walks in!)Strongly recommend against this company.

I rented from this storage unit and I found out I got approved for a house on Dec 11th. We moved my stuff out Dec 23rd and I called and emailed this storage unit to let them know. No one answered. I tried multiple times to put in a 30 day notice and no one would contact me. Finally my boyfriend got a hold of them and they sent me and email saying they closed the account and unit for me. I got charged for January and now I am getting charged for February. I called and a girl answered telling me she would let someone know. Why could she not help me? This place is a scam. I'm on autopay and they are making sure I pay every month. The unit has been empty since Dec 23rd and probably already rented to a new victim.You can't get a hold of anyone and I asked for someone higher ups email or number and they refuse to give it. Don't rent from here unless you don't like having money, feel like being played, and never want to leave.

We have had issues with this location this is the second month in a row. Last month bill was paid on our unit and we could get in the gate to our unit but it had an additional lock on it and the unit was paid. We called and went to the location no one was there. We called the number that was given to us and got someone off site got no reply from anyone at the location or off sight. We went yesterday again to get stuff out of our unit and could not even get in the gate to our paid unit. I am not sure who is in charge or running this location but it seems they are not doing there job!

Rent went up again, this time no notification from them saying the rent was going up. Second rent increase in the last year!I understand w/ inflation costs for everything is going up (and I don't agree with it), but at least let me know the rent IS increasing so that I can budget for it, be prepared for it.

DO NOT USE! Quotes are inaccurate and misleading. Credit card was charged without my authorization. I called for a quote on a 5x10 locker and was provided one. I called back the next day to reserve that locker only to be told the quote I received the day before was incorrect. I still went ahead with reserving a locker and the next day received a voicemail from Daryl, the Platte City manager stating that my previous days quote was incorrect and that I'll be charged even more. I called back immediately to cancel the reservation and did so with no issues. Upon checking my credit card statement, I saw that they charged me $20. When I called back to get a refund I was informed it's a non-refundable deposit and they will not be refunding me my money. I currently have the charge in dispute with my CC company.

They are crooked and don t return calls. They say they have managers but office is always closed. Been trying to give a 30 day notice to vacate but no one is there to receive it. They won t give out manager email addresses to send 30 day notice to vacate. They I will continue to have to pay until someone can receive my 30 day notice to vacate. Don t want collection on my record if I stop paying. DON T RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!

They are always adding random fees, my 5x5 which is supposed to be $59 is always ranging from $70-90. Not to mention I drove over 300 miles for them not to be open and my pin not to work for me to get my things out during business hours and when I called they were no help.

The absolute worst! You basically have to do their job for them. And when they make a mistake they blame you the customer when it is their job to give you your storage information. And trying to get a hold of one of them...forget it! Everyone plays dumb and keep sending you to the central call number. Worst! Worst! Worst! Take your money elsewhere!

Ants all over the inside of our unit. Oodles of them. They are supposed to spray for insects but there is evidence of spiderweb, spider eggs and ants through our unit. With the high cost of rent, I expect better maintenance of these units.

Taylor is such a huge help, what a cutie too! The price is cheap but the storage is super nice, bunch of cameras, which I like..oh did I mention Taylor? LoL

Aweful customer service! This place is terrible and change policy al the time. Fees are high and and even when you pay your bills you still can't get into your unit.

Nice facility. They have both climate controlled and non climate controlled storage areas. Also covered places for boats, RVs, trailers, etc.

Documentation of auto pay and facility has not posted payment. Unable to access. . No one will answer calls.

Look I don't know who sets the prices there but I can drive 4 min. Down the highway and get a 12 by 24 and a 12 by 20 for 10 dollars less that just 1 unit 12 by 25 there . Why ?

Very rude manager, forced to have insurance on lawn stuff and a few other things not worth the insurance money. Cheapest place but service and attitude is also cheap and unprofessional

Need to use your code to exit as well as enter and wasn't told that. Was quite frustrating to try and get out of the facility.
