Kris got me right in to look at my car issue. The shop communicated with me all along the way and the gentleman that gave me the update on the car was knowledgeable and friendly. I was able take care of payment easily over the phone. Would highly recommend!

Called in on a very icy day, they let me drop my car off to get it checked out and called me with a great price fairly quickly. My car was ready that afternoon - the staff is kind and so helpful! I just moved to the area and will keep using them, my car is doing so much better.

Staff was polite and thourogh with findings. When dropping off, I needed to have my wife pick me up, however Josh and the KMC team offered to give me a ride home so to not trouble my wife. Thanks, Josh, and i will be back.

Wanted a front end alignment & they told me all ball joints & tie rods needed replaced at over$2000.00 I told them no. Then took to a 2nd opinion. Said all joints were fine & if needed them replaced it would be about $1500. I had to pay $180 diagnostic fee to get my truck back. RIP OFF !!!! Do not use this place

My sister and I drove our Jeep TJs up to my nephew's for Labor Day weekend. On the way up from Arkansas, my Jeep started making humming noises from the rear differential. Saturday morning I found KMC Mechanical on Google and sent a text, praying someone would be able to help me on a holiday weekend. Kris responded within seconds and met me at his shop within 30 minutes. He figured out what was wrong quickly and gave me options for repairs. He explained everything very clearly and his prices are reasonable. He is now one of the only people I will trust leaving my Jeep with. He did a great job and communicated very well throughout the process. He knows his stuff. Before I picked her up he went over her to make sure everything was in order. Highly recommend! Already told my friends and family!

Once turning up the volume to drown out the noise didn t drown it out anymore, KMC Mechanical got me right in. They were fast (as fast as they could waiting on parts) and efficient. I don t have to hurt my ears anymore to drown out the noise lol. I 100% recommend KMC Mechanical!

Fast work at a great price. Solved the problem the other mechanic wouldn t even try to figure out. Took me back and let me see/hear the problem from under the car while it was on the lift and stayed in contact by text with lots of pictures while I was out of town. No problems with their repairs in the 6 months since.

I recently visited KMC, a local mechanic in Parkville, MO, to have a bearing replaced in my 2018 Lincoln Navigator. After searching around and driving to multiple shops in the area, I was relieved to find that KMC was open at 8am on a Monday morning.From the moment I arrived, Josh and Kris provided exceptional service. They were incredibly helpful and understanding of my situation, and they were able to accommodate me almost immediately. I have a 1988 HMMWV and wanted an engine upgrade to a 6.5 turbo diesel. Chris and the staff were able to install a new engine and had to fabricate many parts and do custom work. I picked the truck up and its running great with I'm pleased at the workmanship. Chris treated my truck like he was bulding it for himself. The craftmanship and attention to detail is excellent. I am a mechanic mechanic myself. I worked in a shop after school in the late 70s as a teenager, I had 2 years of auto shop in high school. I have been around auto body, frame straightening and mechanical. From rebuilding engines to swapping out transmissions on my back outside as a kid. I am always cautious when needing to hire out my work because I am getting to old to be rolling around under my equipment. I use to go to this shop under another ownership for simple things like oil changes, tire rotation and then noticed one day this company was in here. I stopped in a few weeks back for an oil change to feel the folks out. That was a pleasurable experience and I could tell they knew right what they are doing. A few weeks later I started to hear something that wasn't right in my van... It was troubling me so I took a quick look under my van and noticed a body bolt that lost a nut. That was enough for me to got back to this shop. This is the best part. My van is for my construction roofing business and I have numerous jobs going including a large commercial job. My van can not be down! I drove over to the shop the other day at just about 7am. I was thinking they maybe one of those late starting shops opening at 8 am and my stress level was building. Much to my surprise the doors where being opened. I told the man (forgot his name great guy) what I was thinking was wrong and I needed it fix asap. He replied leave it I we will take care of it, very confidently. With in 2 hrs not only did he see that more than 1 body bolt was loose but he also identified worn out sway bar bushings. I gave him the go ahead and even asked.. can you balance the tire? Do a state inspection? Sure thing he replied. Now the body bolts were not an easy task. They had to drop the fuel tank to get to them. I always like to see the old parts that were replaced but the nice thing was I didn't have to ask, he showed me on his own! The price was right where it was suppose to be. With my roofing company and bidding jobs I know myself it should be a fair price for both parties. Looks like I found my mechanic and will always recommend them. Thanks guys!

These guys are great! I needed an inspection, and they got me in within HOURS of my call. They were friendly and helpful. My FJ Cruiser needed an alignment and I have already booked an appointment to have them handle it. Don't hesitate to make them your go-to mechanics.

I have known about KMC for some time from local Jeep groups. I can easily say that I wish I had brought my vehicles to Kris and his team much sooner. Great work on my Jeep (Repairs and Fabrication work) followed by great work on my daily driver Volvo (First work ever outside of the dealer) that saved me a good chunk. Communication was great, work was done in a timely manner and the rates were very reasonable.On top of this, I had great peace of mind knowing that Kris and his crew understand off roading and that the quality of my experiences on the trials depend on the quality of their work. This is a comfort factor that few other shops can give. Being able to tell KMC what I wanted and getting their professional feedback to get the job done is invaluable.KMC seems to value each and every customer and that is pretty important. They have earned my business for sure and if you need anything from fabrication work to just a tune up, KMC is the place to go.Thank you Kris and all of your team...

These guys are awesome! Most shops take your car roll it back and tell you whats wrong but you never see it for yourself, not here. They will tell you whats wrong and show you the bad parts as well as explain why and what makes them bad. The price is absolutely fair here and you never feel like your being taken advantage of. The first time meeting the team I felt like I knew them for years. I have a 2016 Jeep wrangler unlimted with suspension issues. I no longer have those issues and it drives better than it did off the lot. The team here is top notch and I will recommend them to anyone family or friend. Awesome work, customer service and all around good people. They will get all my work for any vehicle I own.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Hauled my vehicle here because the brakes failed. I wanted a quote for repair, decided not to have them do it because they were $1000 over other quotes I got. They charged a $155 fee to tell me my brakes were bad, "diagnoses fee." Clearly I knew my brakes were bad because that's what I hauled it here for. Told me it was because they put it on the rack and did a 30 second Google search for a brake kit. Guys were nice but $155 for a 5 minute job is a bit excessive, talked to several shops in the area and they agreed. Lesson learned, stick to shops you know.

Kris and the guys are awesome! They turned my truck in two days even though I asked for more work to be done. Even if you don't live close, they are worth the drive. Fair pricing and great service from a locally owned business with a hard working group of guys.

I had replaced everything on the front end of my 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I knew KMC had a state of the art alignment machine and that Kris was very knowledgeable with Cherokees. So there was no hesitation for me to take it to him and his shop for his employees to work on it. I personally had gone with heim joints for my steering setup and it took a little bit longer than normal for alignments, but anybody that knows about heim joints know they take a little bit more time and finesse. So I ended up paying a little bit more since it took more time than normal but I was completely ok with that. I knew it was gonna be done right and it was. So I will be taking my Cherokee back there soon to have some more work done. You can count on their professionalism and flawless work. Thanks to Kris and his employees.
