I was VERY happy with Dave's Foreign Car Repair.I brought my car to them right before the holidays. They could have been annoyed & felt the need to point out the poor timing, but they had a can-do attitude from the get-go. I had a key stuck in the lock and they freed it when no one else could and charged me a very fair price. They took the time to get me a quote for what further work at the Volkswagen dealership would cost me. Highly recommend them!

Very easy to work with. Bruce was very respectful and easy going with the whole process. They communicated the diagnosis and gave me a fair estimate.I will be returning to Dave's for all my future car maintenance needs!

Provided great service, Bruce, Roger & the crew were great. I can tell they were busy but threw it all great experience. My only thing I wish is to be contacted on when my actual vehicle was going to be worked on. As you know be down to 1 vehicle is a challenge. But other than that, the work don on my 2011 Audi was excellent.

I have had Dave's work on most of my vehicles since 1980. I never had a problem.. Just had my BMW in for thermostat and water pump replacedMuch lower then the Dealers.. I also asked for BMW parts to be used.. Only came in for a mechanical diagnosis, but their team was honest and open about the problems and didn't try to add on anything unnecessary. Prices were reasonable and broken down for you. Will definitely come back when it's time to do an overhaul.

Dave has worked on previous BMW's we've owned and we were very happy with his work and his prices. He is always fair and honest. I appreciate his candid, yet honest approach when talking to me about some other foreign models of vehicles we've purchased when I asked about repairs on those vehicles. Thanks, Dave! When our BMW's out of Warranty you will ALWAYS be our first stop for ALL our service/repair needs!

I needed some work done before selling our car, I was pretty sure what I needed they confirmed my issue repaired it had back the next day. Appreciated the service advisor honestly and frequent updates. I definitely will be returning with our other vehicle.

Very knowledgeable mechanics who take the time to explain the details (if you want to hear them). You pay a little more than some other places for the labor, but it is worth it because they do great work. I recommend making these guys your regular mechanics because they track what all has been done to your car in order to get a more complete and accurate picture of any given problem.

They definitely know their stuff.I will give them that, but they overcharge for their services, never seem to go above and beyond for a regular. and I felt like I wasn t getting good customer service when I went. I also felt like I was being overcharged because I seemed like an easy target. They would know something was wrong with my car but wouldn t tell me knowing I d have to be back to repair it when it broke down anyways. I ve spent a couple thousand there and after having someone at MIDAS glance at my engine for 2 minutes they told me what was wrong. Such a simple fix under $100 but if my new car guy hadn t caught it I would be in for a much bigger bill. and this entire time Dave and his crew could have kept a loyal well paying customer. Their loss.

Dave and his staff are simply the best. They are honest mechanics who do quality work. What more could you ask for? Our family has taken all our cars to this shop for over 25 years and have nothing but good things to say.

VERY GOOD SHOP!!! They got my truck in and told me it be ready in the morning. They open at 7am. I got my vehicle back by 830 am. Plus they did my repair for a very good price! If I ever need a mechanic in the kc area, they will be my go to shop!

I've been going here for years and they're fantastic. There's been times when I thought I needed work and they just gave me advice instead. That shows integrity and you can't beat that. I trust them with all my work.

I've gotten great personal and technical service from Dave and his team. Both my Subaru-- which three other mechanics had failed to diagnose an ongoing issue with gasoline smell occurring in the cab during cold weather driving-- and my Toyota. This is the kind of place that will not only do the work, but will explain all the ins and outs of it. They take an attitude like it's their car that they are working on.Yesterday, they couldn't get a hold of me via my cell to inform me of an $86 repair that they discovered regarding a sheered lug nut that I hadn't noticed. They called be half a dozen times during the day. That, I find, is uncommon with mechanics-- trying to contact you instead of waiting for you to call them.I've become a loyal customer.

I meet Dave some years ago while looking for a State vehicle inspection before the DMV closed. Dave's shop was actually closed but he answered the door anyway and......he inspected my domestic truck after hours....!!!!Since then, will Take my Mini Cooper no where else. Dave and his crew are great. Considerate, professional and fair.

Excellent, fast service with fair pricing. Much less expensive than dealer for similar service using OEM parts. Easy to make an appointment and vehicle was finished when they said it would be!

I am so disappointed in this place. I took my Lexus here to be repaired seeing that it was constantly dying on me when I came to a complete stop. After dropping the car off, I was called the next day and told that they had found 6 things that needed to be repaired and had gotten over 16 misfire diagnostic codes for a total of $1800! i was devastated!! I informed the guy that this car is 15 years old and I was NOT trying to rebuild the car but only wanted it to stop dying on me. He seemed like a nice guy that understood my wants. However I told him I could not afford 1800$ and was there anyway they could just repair what was causing the car to die aND thats it...they said no..."we need to fix ALL these things and there still may be more that we hv to do to keep it from dying out on u". Very frustrated I told him (Roger) to let me sleep on it and I would get back to him...only hours later I called back asking was he sure he couldnt do any better on the price, or only fix the main issue? He declined.I know Lexus's are expensive cars, but something just wasn't sitting well with me paying this $1800. So, I prayed about it and it was put on my heart to pick my car up and take it to the place where I dreaded taking it most, which was the Lexus dealer. Lexus looked at the form Dave's gave me and said, if ur car is dying this very first thing on the list that they gave u will take care of it..and mostly, if not ALL of the 16 misfire codes. What?!! Are u kidding me, i asked...they got me right in the same day, car is running like a charm for $259. Lesson learned. Even though a place has good reviews they may still try and beat u! Do your homework folks!! And A IF IT DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT...PRAY ABOUT IT!

Gotta love German engineering. Had a water pump replaced for a B8.5 A4 here. They were very knowledgeable and replaced the failed part very fast. Worth the extra cost for their expertise.

Didn't tell me it cost to check out a small problem. Guy acted rude and said to just pick it up. My engine blew after this. Shop must have done something to the car never had engine issues.

I took my car to this location and after getting my car two weeks past when I was supposed to. To my disappointment I was overcharged against my consent. The worst part is I drove my car in and had to have it towed to leave. Do your research, and ignore the fake reviews posted.
