I recently had to get a new battery for my Ram. Dee not only helped me to select the right one, he put it in for me as well. This was a big deal for me since I was unable to put it in myself due to a recent wrist injury. When I tried to show my appreciation for him going the extra mile with a tip, he refused it - just keep coming back and let others know how your feel about us . In a world full of people trying to take advantage of you , this place really stands out as one you can trust and depend on.

They were great. I needed a couple cans of light silver of paint (spray and brush) for a 2005 Dodge Neon (wasn't my first pick) and they were able to get it in the same afternoon. Now that there's customer service! Great selection for in store shopping as wel!

I have been using this local store for years. Knowledgeable staff like no other in the area. I always have the parts that are not in the computer so the books come out and if they can not help me with my old parts they will head me in the right direction... They make you feel welcome. Do not worry if you say I need one of these and have no clue what the name of the part is. They kindly will play charades with you.

Came in here July 3rd for a part I had called them about. They had the part ready for me when I got there. It was a lug nut and I asked an older man with glasses to put it on for me, I didn t think they would have the tools but he put it on for me. I was there maybe a whole five minutes. I was so happy to be taken care of so well. Thank you so much. I will be back.

This is an okay place to buy parts.I have been using them for years and the people who work there have gotten better.Most of the time I get the right parts but at a higher price than some places. But not having to travel to and from has got to be worth something.

All the parts you need at competitive prices and outstanding service! I recently purchased two batteries for my F-250 diesel. When I asked about the on-line offer of free installation, Dee the store manager said they could do it right away- no need to schedule an appointment. He professionally installed both batteries and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. That type of service is hard to find these days. If I'd gone to the Ford dealership, I would have had to schedule an appointment, probably wait for my truck for at least and hour and it would have cost me $120 just for the installation. Support our local Parkville businesses- they both earn and deserve our support!

The part cost here is usually a little bit higher then the competitors however the knowledge of the employees as what keeps me coming back. There is no guess work with these Gearheads, they know exactly what you need and can help you with all of your questions. Keep up the good work guys (and girls )

My first impression was enough to come back and leave a review... I came into this location to attempt to return an item I had ordered online and picked up at a different Carquest location. I walked in with my item and receipt, before I even get to the counter, the gentleman working behind the counter said we can t take those here, you ll have to take them back to advanced auto parts he saw the advanced auto parts logo on my receipt. I m not the type of person to argue, but I wanted a different answer than that because I in fact did pick them up at a Carquest location. So I tried telling them I bought them online, where advanced auto parts had me pick them up at a Carquest location. Keep in mind, this guy was LITERALLY wearing and Advanced Auto Parts uniform...Before I could even finish any of my sentences, this gentleman would only keep saying in a rude tone no, you bought them from advanced auto parts .. I m literally not even arguing with this guy, I m just trying to figure out what s going on because I ve already tried returning them to an advanced auto parts and they said they couldn t accept them either because it s not their receipt and not coming up in their system. The gentleman at this Carquest location could have at least tried looking up the items on my receipt or scanning the receipt but he insisted I bought them from advanced auto parts. So. Here s proof of my purchase from Carquest Highlighted on my order in my screenshot attached. This guy needs some help in customer service skills and instead of trying to argue with someone that was just trying to get more information, might consider that he doesn t have all the information, especially when companies are merging like this, and maybe be a little more helpful to the customer. I will add a gentleman that may have been a manager (dressed nicer) came out from the aisle and actually explained to me what was going on, and their databases have not merged yet. I m fine with the principle of them not accepting my return, especially since it wasn t the same location, but the gentleman behind the counter was just rude and unhelpful. I was in on 6/30 around 11am. Sometime during that hour. Don t forget to look at my photo as proof I bought it and picked up at a Carquest location. That 2-3 minute interaction of the first time being in this location was enough for me to come back and leave a detailed review.

The only reason I'm giving this place three stars. Is because I'm not gonna let one guy ruin it for everyone else. I used to go into this store all the time. Never had any problems. Until one day I walked in to buy some Peak Anti Freeze. Same Anti Freeze I've used in my jeep for over ten years. Never had any problems. It was like $14 for a gallon jug. I set it up on the counter and this guy behind the counter say "Oh no you don't want that it will turn to gelatin in your car". He then takes the bottle off the counter and goes in the back and brings out this gold jug. I can't remember what is was but it was like $32. I get it he was trying to up sale me. However he didn't offer it as option or ask me if I wanted something better. He just took the peak jug off and went I got this gold jug. This guy was very condescending and rude. The rest of the people who work there i've encountered are great. This guy is not one of those people.

I typically go to other parts stores but will now go to Carquest first. I went looking for automotive grease, brake cleaner, and WD-40. The man at the counter greeted me politely and asked what I was looking for. He asked for more details regarding the grease which I responded I needed a small amount for the front struts and steering knuckle for installation. I gathered the other parts I was looking for and when I got to the counter, he had a container of grease open and ready to give me as much as I needed into a small plastic container. To him, there wasn't much sense in buying a whole container to use a small amount.

The service was out of this world just on a personal level vantastic and they all knew exactly what they were talking about when they were talking about it and answer all my questions and detailed if not in more debt than what I was expecting

No help at all. Went to exchange a part because i recieved a cheaper part than what i ordered. Guy was no help, just tried to send me to another store even though corporate had put the part on hold for me at this store

Skip is the parts man. Always finds stuff when others can't. Always recommend this place... Even if they are a little higher. I'll pay for the A+ service.
