I recently enjoyed Pizza from Buddy's new Pizza Restaurant and wow was it delicious.. and great service.. super cute place where you can gather with friends for Pizza and drinks.. either by car, golf cart or boat.. and located just off Susan Rd. in Lake Ozark.. it is a hidden secret and open Thursday - Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until they run out of fabulous pizza dough...lol. Cooked in the awesome fire brick oven.. takes about 5 minutes and you will have mouth watering pizza to enjoy!

Love this place! Exactly what we needed. A break from the daily grind, and a chance to step back and breathe in some fresh air, enjoy the scenery, and eat some fantastic food cooked by the owner himself!Buddy's is a terrific place to go and enjoy some of the simpler things in life. The owners are present and actively participate in the operations in all of the activities. It really makes a difference too! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway, at a reasonable price, and with incredible food and friendly bar to gather and relax.

We rented a VRBO next door and visited every day they were open(off season). Buddys Harbor is a fantastic bar that feels like hanging at your best friends man cave. The bar/restaurant is so much fun! The staff is absolutely awesome! Chef Jeff makes the best wood/stone/fired pizza you will ever have! We ate there every day they were open. Andrea, the bartender/manager is the biggest sweetheart! She will make your drinks and experience better than any bar in the area. If your visiting the Lake Ozark, head to Buddys, you won't be disappointed!

What to do on a 65 degree day in December ...... get on the boat. Finding a place on the water open is a little more challenging. We saw that Buddy's was open at 3:00 so we headed that way from the Gravois part of the lake. What a nice surprise! Nice docks, plenty of deep water and a cool indoor pizzeria / bar. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were greeted with smiles. Jeff was our bartender and was very nice. We only planned on one drink and then back on the boat to get home before dark but when we found out about the wood fired pizza we knew we should try it. So thankful that we did. We are usually thin crust pizza people but always open to try what the chef suggests. Jeff, also the chef, explained that the pizza crust was not thick or extra thin. He was spot on. Everything from the sauce to the cheese and topping was proportioned perfectly and we devoured that thing. We also got to meet Oscar, the owner, who was also very friendly and grateful for us coming in. Drinks were a little pricier than we are used to but were good. Service was top notch, food was on point and the place was very clean. Highly recommend. I bet this place is hopping in the summer. Thank you for being open and having a fantastic place to go in the off season. Cheers.....

We just got home from vacationing at Buddy s resort. It was so much fun!!! Oscar was very friendly and attentive to our wishes. Jeff made the best drinks and pizza!! The pool was wonderful! The lake and view is so beautiful!! Great location to nearby attractions as well although the resort has many fun options as well!! We loved our visit and will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Buddy's Harbor. The owners and staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We stayed in the studio cabin which was enough for two adults, one child, and a dog. The kitchenette's full-sized fridge, sink, microwave, and dishes were great to have. The menu covered all the bases and DELICIOUSLY so - definitely don't miss the fries! It was a nice mix of guests - families, couples, and friends. Being able to rent a pontoon boat & jet ski on-site was really convenient. Buddy's was also conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, etc. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked it three weeks later so we got to enjoy it all over again.

The owners are amazing! The cabins are updated, clean, nice and cool. We booked the one bedroom cabin and had plenty of space for two. We spent a few days with family and all the kids enjoyed all the amenities; pool, trampoline, kayaks, beach, and dock. We will definitely staying here again! The grounds were fun and peaceful. All the staff was super helpful and enjoyed their work.Rooms: The cabins were updated and clean. They are equipped with everything needed.

Buddy s Harbor has to be one of the coolest places I ve stayed at the lake. We rented the two bedroom two bathroom for 4 nights and couldn t have been more pleased with our decision to stay there! The pool and grounds were always clean. All the employees seem to enjoy working there. The cabin was clean and nice and cool. I can t wait to park the boat at the dock for another weekend soon to try the little couples cabin! Thank you guys!

We loved this place! We only got to stay for a couple of nights as a quick getaway during the hottest week of the year, but we couldn't have asked for a better spot. We didn't get to enjoy all of Buddy's Harbor's amenities during our short stay, but the quiet space seems like a great place to be when the weather is nicer. We will be back.

Great vibes at Buddy's Harbor. The entire place is clean and comfortable. Immediately impressed when I walked into the room. Very clean and accommodating to most needs. The bed, pillows and bedding were all very comfortable and I slept great. I wasn't able to hear the neighbors much from inside the cabin which was a concern of mine. The staff were all friendly and made us feel at home. We brought a jet ski and rented a slip. This was convenient but as first timers at the Lake we quickly learned it was better to haul the jet ski over to the state park area as there were more coves with calmer water on that side of the lake. Easy drive to other areas of the lake as well. We spent every evening relaxing outside on the dock or by the fire. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Being a long time local to LOZ I am always excited when a new bar/restaurant pops up on the water. I was excited to try it out and share it with family and friends. The 1st experience the service was extremely slow, you could tell the staff had no idea what they were doing. I gave them benefit of the doubt and tried it again. Next time we went the bartender was drunk and crying. It was a complete mess. Not to mention service was still very messy and slow. They are new, let s try again. When we arrived we pulled up to the gas dock and filled up with gas, the owner walked down and stated he did not know where he was going to put our boat, however there was almost an entire empty dock. When I head up, and I take my kids every time to their pool, I am told they are not allowed in the pool. I have been coming regularly every weekend giving them the chance and each time they tell me my kids can swim in the pool if we are restaurant guests. Today, as we were buying drinks/ordering lunch and getting ready to get in the pool we were told we cannot swim. And the pool is for cabins guests only. It was 11:30 am and we were just starting our day. We wanted to swim and eat. My daughter cried in front of the owner and the pool guests as he just walked away. We cancelled our tab and will not return. This business is not ready to handle more than just the cabin business and is losing a lot more revenue that could be made. My tab was only a small one but I will not recommend this to anyone. If I could do 0 stars I would.Had I been offered wristbands for the pool or even made aware of them the numerous times I have been there this experience may have been different. But I am convinced they may not have existed at the time of my visit or prior. Not to mention I have always been a sober and responsible guest as a watch my 2 and 4 year old by the pool.

Found this hidden gem at a last minute get away with our kiddos. We wanted to fun getaway and our boys love the outdoors. This spot has it all for any family that likes to have a more family connection and enjoy the lake and what it has to offer. The cabins are cute and just the right size. The new owners have put a lot of work and have updated the area. Our boys loved going from the lake to the pool. We could also grab a mixed drink or food after a long day on the lake or boat. We took advantage of renting a boat from them and it was in excellent condition. We had ample opportunity of fishing close by too. It was filled with plenty of memories that started by sitting on porch watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. This was our first time visiting and will not be our last.

We had THE BEST TIME at Buddy's! Waterfront location is beautiful and the cabins are situated for an amazing view of the Lake and the pool. We rented a jet ski and the process was super easy; we had a blast! The beds are extremely comfy and the a/c is cool : ) Kudos to Oscar and his team. This place is awesome and we can't wait to book again!Rooms: Comfy bed and linens, clean, great a/c, beautiful front porch with view of the Lake and pool.Noteworthy details: Beautifully located and easily accessible.

What a great experience! My family stayed here for almost a week this summer and this may be an annual meeting place from now on. The new owners understand hospitality and the resort was clean and had everything you need. The rooms included nightstands equipped with multiple Ian for charging, cable tv, a/c, bedding, kitchenware and towels. The pool and the beach area were nestled between the outside food and bar. Perfect set up for kids and adults to relax. Plenty of picnic tables and grills too! Great for families!

This was the PERFECT getaway.Cabins were adorable, food was great, the pool (while chilly) was great as was the beach area.Perfect spot to post up for the weekend and not ever have to leave!Everything was clean and we will definitely be back.

The new owners are amazing!!! The cabins are rustic and I almost didn t stay . However I m so glad I decided to stayed here!! The beds are so comfortable and the cabin I was in had an amazing view of the water and was so peaceful and quiet . the owners are updating the cabins and I had small issues . They were so responsive when I called and were there fixing things within minutes. I d highly recommend these cabins!!

I haven't been anywhere quite like Buddy s Harbor before. The bookings online were easy enough. I really liked that I got a phone call confirming my reservation when I booked it and a few days before the trip. So there were no worries about if our cabin would be available. There certainly seems to be a personal touch throughout the entire Buddys harbor experience.I arrived about an hour before check-in. The front desk was nice enough to check us in early.Upon entering the cabin, I was surprised by how beautiful it was and how much attention was made to the details. Functional and uncluttered but with amazing homey touches. Full sets of dishes, silverware, and all the pots pans and utensils for cooking. The beds and bathrooms were very clean, including the bedding and towels. Whatever fabric softener they use smells amazing.One of the reasons I initially picked Buddy s Harbor was because it had both a pool and a beach. Everyone enjoyed the super clean, fully fenced-in in pool area. Complete with soft sofas and plenty of umbrella covered spaces. It was a great place to relax and let the little kids swim. The beach area has a long dock into the lake water. The favorite place of the older kids was the water trampoline off shore a little bit.There really was a good amount of entertainment, including kayaks, a water bicycle, and even though we didn't rent anything, I think they have boats and jetskis.We loved that the atmosphere was family and pet friendly. If you are looking for a place to stay that really offers a home away from home feel this is the place to go.

We were looking for a cabin for our first trip to Lake of the Ozarks with our large boat. Morgan was amazingly helpful. Although they could not accommodate a boat of our size she did help us find a place that could. We have already recommended Buddy Harbor to two of our team members who are also taking a trip to the area this summer. Very prompt in email responses. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Morgan.

This was extremely disappointing experience!! The owners gave us false information about the assembly hall being open and we were super considerate. But the owner Oscar made our group of girls feel very unsafe due to how rude he was. He used bad language with us. He was not professional at all. If you have a big group do not stay here. Even if you have multiple cabins he does not want you all together having fun. Would never stay here again we will be taking our business else where

This place sucks! The staff are very unfriendly and they made this a very unenjoyable environment. I know they're building a restaurant and a bar and if they though a medium amount of noise was loud I don't know how they're going to have a fun restaurant environment. I've been to this place for three years and would always recommend it but not anymore. It was a 1/10 experience. The worst part of this place was that Australian guy he was the rudest guy I've ever met in my life.
