Recently stayed here when in town for a sporting event. We have four kids, two of them under two, so cleanliness is extremely important to us. I can t sleep in a room that smells even the slightest of smoke or mildew, which can both be common in motels. Everywhere else was booked because of the event in town and we ended up booking here. I was very pleasantly surprised by this facility. The staff were welcoming, polite, and accommodating. It was chilly out that day and unlike most hotels that don t turn on the room heat or a/c until you get there, they had preheated the room before our arrival. Upon entering the room, it immediately smelled like fresh linen and was immaculately clean. While they may not have the most updated decor, I d much rather a clean room with good staff than a modern room with rude staff that s dirty. If you re looking for a place that feels safe and is budget friendly while still meeting high standards of cleanliness, this is the place. If we re ever in town again this is where we will book first.

We love this place! Stayed here for a week on work and booked 3 rooms. The hospitality was superb, anything you asked for( and the had) they would kindly oblige. The host make you feel at homeRooms: Not the nicest in the world but has everything you could ever need!Safety: We had our Tools out all week

I had the Great Fortune of finding this Motel. It was extremely clean, bug & the bed was so comfortable! The manager at this location was extremely helpful and very kind. He stated if you need me I'm available 24 hours. I worked nights sadly for him I took him up on that LOL. I would highly recommend this place for anyone needing somewhere to stay. I had planned on being there for five nights, the job ended up only taking two. He quickly and kindly refunded my funds for the days that I was not going to be there. Again anyone needs a place and they're in this area they cannot go wrong!

Great place to stop and get rest. The staff was very helpful with all my needs. They have updated rooms with new beds. It was a very comfortable stay! Will be back !Rooms: New fully furnished rooms. With comfortable beds.Safety: Quiet and safe place.

My husband and I have been staying here several days now and the ownership is ran in a very professional manner.And the staff are not just professional, but very nice and helpful as well.I found the rooms to be extremely clean and well kept-up.Of all the motels in this area, I would highly recommend this one.Rooms: Very clean and well -kept

We were in town for the Bourbeuse Bluebell canoe race near Rosebud. I loved my room. So comfy and spacious, quiet, clean and hot showers! Much needed after being wet all day and rained on all evening. The front desk staff/owners are so pleasant and friendly. Thank you all so much for a nice stay, I will definitely stay there if I m ever around Owensville, MO again. I hope I will be. Had such a nice time.

Spacious rooms and friendly staff, but if you're sensitive to smoke, room 116 smelled awful. The owners ran an ozone machine, which helped, but unfortunately I think they converted a smoking room to a nonsmoking or I was mislead about it being a nonsmoking room and even after the machine ran it had a stale cigarette smell which is probably nearly impossible to remove. Our family members stayed in other rooms (117-120) and they smelled better (older but not like stale smoke) so if you're even moderately sensitive to smoke, don't stay in 116. Otherwise it was fine if your standards aren't terribly high. Don't expect it to be like a big chain. Furniture, fixtures and decor varied from room to room and often had quite a bit of wear and/or damage.We stayed here due to the location so there aren't many options so I wasn't planning on being too picky but I draw the line at health hazards like secondhand smoke. I already have breathing issues and a nonsmoking room should mean just that, so it was disappointing to say the least.

This place is horrible!!! My friends stayed there during their travel and I was coming to see them but found out I was having a miscarriage says before. Unfortunately I was needing to change my clothes do to the issue and just needed to come in and change and use their bathroom. My friends received a call the second I walked in their room and the hotel threatened to call the police on them and kick them out!!! We thought they had a misunderstanding so we walked to the front desk and tried to explain to them I was only coming to pick ip my friends but needed the bathroom due to my emergency. Instead they locked the doors so we couldn't get in and said it's OK they have cops coming to "save me"!!!???I'm sorry but that was so embarrassing and disrespectful!!! I will never go there again nor recommend any more if my friends to go there ever again! And my friends said their room was disgusting!

Stayed one night. Ac was ice cold, bed was decent, pillows not so good (bring your own) room was clean, some water damage in ceiling, hot shower, good pressure, not new but was more than I expected, but didn t disappoint for the value, and only option close to the area lol. Would stay again if in the area.

I absolutely would NOT recommend this place!! The room were clean and cheap but the service was horrible. The man asked strange questions and then called me anytime I left the hotel wanting to know where I was going and why!! Shouted at me when I won t answer them and continued to shout as I walked out of the reception area to go home. We were there for a wedding. Several other wedding guests canceled their room and he refused to refund their money even though they checked out on time.

Online check in was simple from the website. Easy to find location right off Highway 28. Extremely polite and friendly owner may check you in. Rooms are super clean. Bed is comfortable. Everything you need for a more than fair price!

The good; rooms were clean, nice quiet location' friendly staff, decent rates.The not so good: only full size beds in double rooms and only one flat pillow per person. The second full bed has a space of maybe 6 inches between the bed and the wall, you have to walk with you back against the wall, so doesn't leave much crawl in space to get into bed.Areas for improvement, more accessible electric outlets, and add USB ports, perhaps invest in some lamps with them. It had a power strip laying on the vanity, but of you sleep with medical equipment, or have an extension cord with you, not convenient at all.Personal note, bring your own personal items. For three people, there was one pack of shampoo and one of conditioner, as in less than ketchup size packs, soap were tiny bars. If you have sensitive skin, bring your own tissues and tp. Whatever was in there on both, was extremely rough and thin.With all that said, a overnight stay would be fine, but not for the long term.

My room was clean and comfortable; it was large the beds were nice and so was the shower. One note; there was no soap or shampoo so you have to bring your own. The staff was friendly and Owensville is a nice small town.

Lovely place to lay your head which is what i was told so we had planned to stay 4 weeks, we had just drove in straightforward from HOUSTON TEXAS to bury my father, i called ahead and the man i spoke with said they had rooms but when we got there they were at full occupancy but the owners were very nice although being in mourning i thought the man & woman who greeted us could have and should have helped us in some way alas we had to drive further to Belle motel which was fabulous. We Will try again next month, this time with a reservation, we were so tired i thank god we made it to Belle.
