This is what Ruth was good for on my visit to get simple car tags, she had an attitude and when I said something to her about it she refused to wait on me and began sweeping the floor. This is a person that should not be dealing with the public, maybe not even sweeping the floor.

Friendly and nice are not usually words to describe a license office but it is at the Owensville branch. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. I was not treated like an inconvenience like a usual trip to one of these offices. I will go out of my way to use this office!

They really go out of their way to help you with your vehicles. They are very nice people. And they really do go out of their way to help you with all of your vehicle needs.

Every time I go there they move as efficiently as possible. More than once they've either had to call another office or help me figure out left from right and never got an attitude at all. I've been closer to other offices over the years and still come here.

These ladies deserve so much praise for their professionalism and patience. I can't believe it is actually a pleasurable experience to go in and get your tags renewed. License Offices around the country should take note.

Honestly don't go here if you aren't 100% confident in passing. To two times I've went have only made me realize that I'd rather do to it some place like Jeff city. I was the most uncomfortable I have been in my entire lifetime, both times I've taken the test I've gotten really bad instructors. The first one wasn't as bad as the second one. During both experiences the instructors would always same something negative with no positive reinforcement. I would have probably felt better after failing. I would have loved to hear just once, it's ok you tried but I didn't even get that. So if you just wanna take the permit test go here, the actual driver's test though. I would go anywhere esle.

Not a bad wait time, just depends what everyone else has to do. The workers are polite and help with what they can while assisting you

I've lived in Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and New Mexico, and in the St. Louis area, and with all the DMV's I've dealt with in each of those states, the License Bureau Fee Office in Owensville is by far the friendliest and most efficient I've ever dealt with. I nearly always come out of here getting what I need done the first time.
