Let's face is, having a transmission fail is about the worst thing that can happen to a vehicle owner. I asked around and just about everyone suggested I take our van here and this proved to be a wise decision. Ron is a great guy and was 100% transparent on pricing and timeline, and got the vehicle back to us ahead of schedule to boot. I am hopeful that I never again find myself in this situation, but if I am Samco will be my first phone call.Service: Transmission

Highly recommended! They really went above and beyond. I thought my clutch needed to be replaced but they figured out it was just the master cylinder which was significantly cheaper. They saved me a lot of money and were super friendly and professional.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Absolutely pleasure to do business with. After the state of confusion with transmission just up and quit, they were complete professionals and put my self at ease. Quite reasonable for quotes with all options on the table. Plan to take my GTO there next for a clutch and driveshaft rebuild. Shop area was clean and I was impressed with organized work areas.

I had called just to make an appointment with my car, I described the issue that was going on. The person I spoke to on the phone literally went above and beyond to tell me about my car and the past experiences he has had with this car. Typically when I talk to a mechanic shop they undermind me because I am a woman and I kind of feel like I am talked to less about the car, he did not make me feel that way. He educated me about the car, was very blunt about pricing and scenarios, and was just so helpful. I will without a doubt take my car here if I ever have an transmission problems. I wish I would have caught his name! Great guy. Thank you for being so helpful! I will recommend this business to every person I know who comes with transmission problems!

These guys have 5 star reviews for a reason, they earned them. We were in Osage Beach on vacation and had a transmission issue stranding us on Memorial day. We showed up at Samco the next morning on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. and they had someone evaluating the problem by 7:10. They ordered the part while we were at the Pancake House down the road and had us repaired and back on the road by 10:30 a.m. OUTSTANDING !. Ron, the owner, was extremely nice and customer focused, he even offered to drive us to the Pancake house. C'mon, when was the last time anyone had a car worked on and the owner offered to drive you to eat breakfast while you waited ? The answer is never. Dale worked on our truck, kudos to Dale. He figured out the problem pronto and pre-tested to ensure the right parts were ordered. I think everyone in the shop either said "good morning" or "hi" to us while we were there. Our truck is 20 years old and I am sure they could have found a bazillion other things they could have said need fixing as many other shops do, but Ron's team was focused on getting a customer back on the road and not using the situation to pad the repair bill. If you are within 30 miles of Osage Beach and need transmission work, you NEED to drive to Samco and have it done. One more time, OUTSTANDING service and customer focus.

Stranded with friends while attending a funeral in Lake Ozark, Samco came to my rescue and replaced a solenoid in my Chrysler van with speed and friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable information and service. We were 3 hours from home and were so very grateful for Ron,s help. Ever thankful, Liz Schaeffer, Collinsville, IL.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I took my 2005 Mercury Mountaineer for a transmission and they were very attentive and helpful along the process. Would recommend this place.

The people working at samco did a great job in repairing my transmission, it took a little longer than expected bacause I had personally ordered the wrong parts, once it was sorted and the parts were in they had it done that day. I thoroughly enjoy my new clutch and flywheel setup and I would reccomend samco for transmission work. Will use them in the future.

These guys are good.. I just called to ask about a borg warner t-35. They were more then willing to answer my questions. So if you are doing your own work they will at least help. Thank you.

The Premier auto trans diagnostition at the entire lake area. Very friendly, very helpful, even if it's likely that you ain't exactly gonna pay too many of his bills with your questions... Also, his shop is cleaner than most hospitals...
