Sharing my overall experience has been overall, better than I could expect when buying a truck.Brady was the guy I dealt with was very knowledgeable about the truck if I didn't suspect him to be a diesel mechanic.After the deposit, they were able to hold the truck for almost a month before I could come up with the rest.Then the truck sat for another month as I didn't have an time to pick it up until Xmas week.When first getting into the truck, everything he described was exactly how it was on the website.However the engine light came on and it was an solenoid issue. After talking things with Brady, he said that he'll cover the parts cost.Overall the engine internals were pristine for it's age, I seen it for myself.This was my first truck buying experience so there were many hurdles and doubts finding a pre emissions truck with a good wet kit on it.These days you just except that things like covering anything like a repairs unheard of.However, these guys took care of me. I'm glad to see some places still value their name on on the business than bigger margins.Thanks for taking care of me Brady.-Jake

Amazing Service!! Truck de-rated and I had to be towed in here. My after treatment filters ended up being clogged. Thankfully they have their own DPF and DOC cleaning ovens. They baked/cleaned out my filters and I was back on the road. Will for sure be using them again in the future. 10/10

One of the nicest, most polite and proffesional dealers around. They were trying their best to supply me with a mirror for one of my International trucks, even tho we didnt order one, the ammount of effort from these guys was a joy to behold !

I purchased a truck there and had the rear end swap. The sale person was great but the work they did on my truck was not that great. The rear end where brand new and one of them broke with in the first 600 miles. I called them back because I was told it had 1 year warranty but nothing was resolved. They where just passing the blame from one person to the other and at the very end some how they said it was my fault and I had to take the lost of $3,000. But two months later the other rear end had a problem the nut that holds the yoke in place came lose. That is how I came to the conclusion that the people working on the truck at KC either do not pay attention to the work the do or are clueless of what they are doing.

They got it fixed, but it took a long time. The price quoted and the price charged were different and confusing. It took a full week longer than expected. There was confusion in getting the right part. I was surprised by the $390 diagnosis fee to tell us what we knew. The brakes were out. I was surprised by the bill when my family picked it up. It was late. They were closing. And we had to have the bus for our ministry the next week. They charged for repairing the battery light coming on, but it continues to come on. Maybe we are not their typical customer with us having just one shuttle bus to work on and not a fleet of trucks. Glad it is fixed. Make sure you actively communicate with them.

This place is great! Took my RV to them after being recommended by other places that couldn't do the suspension work I was looking for. There were a few things that came up in the process and Lane and his team could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone that will listen! Reputable companies are hard to find and I'm glad I found them and plan to continue working with them anytime I need something. Thank you for being a stand up guy Lane!

Why would I give them five stars? Because Google will not let me give them SIX!My wife and I were on our way from Minnesota to our sons wedding in Arizona, and had mechanical problems with our RV. We called them with a desperate plea for help at about 04:30 PM Wednesday, and they let us park overnight in their lot with a promise to look at it first thing in the morning. Matt got right on it but found additional issues and we were feeling very concerned about how we could deal with the RV and Trailer, and still get to the wedding. Katie, Mark, and Scott were all so great to us throughout the process, and Lane could not have been nicer.There were parts issues, so we had to leave the RV and everything else we had at KC wholesaler when we rented a car and made the trip to Arizona. They helped with EVERYTHING from car rides to look at RVs and to the motel, to providing space for all our food from the RV in their fridge while we were gone.I know they are primarily a Truck outfit, but they ultimately got me back on the road with my RV and it is working great now. They stand behind their work and if I ever needed RV or Truck repair in the Kansas City area, I would not hesitate to go back to these folks.Just about the nicest people on earth, and they do great work.Thank you to the whole crew!

I called them to do a 3rd party inspection for a truck that I purchased somewhere else. They made me feel confident that they would do a thorough inspection. When I arrived I felt even more confident that they would do a thorough job. After the inspection was completed they took the time to explain to me what they did and gave me printouts and suggestions. When I went to get into my truck the mechanic took the time to talk to me explaining some adjustments he did at no additional cost . The price was very reasonable and they even gave me a ride to the truck stop near by. And picked me up once the work was done. I highly recommend these guys. I wish I lived close to here so I could make them my preferred shop for truck work. Thank you guys for the excellent experience.

KC Wholesale offered great service and quickly fixed our RV. As a member of the Army overseas, they worked well with all the phone tag and complications of getting friends to drop off the RV for us.

Had my front grill replaced here , excellent service. They did an excellent job . I would give them 10 stars if allowed . I would highly recommend this place to any truck owner . This is one of the best experiences I ve had in my 15 years in the business. Will definitely be making it my go to place for any repairs from this point on . Great location next to the petro in Oak Grove with plenty of room for you to drop a trailer while they work on your truck . Truckers we need more places like this so let s support this one

This is a great shop to get repairs done. They where busy but worked me in. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Everyone is very nice and great to work with. They do a thorough inspection of your truck to make sure it's right. Highly recommend KC for your repair needs.

Broke down in Oak Grove MO lost my rear end in my Kenworth called KC Wholesale's and spoke with Lane and he sure made everything easy from there had a tow truck on the way. Got me to a motel and picked me up had my truck fixed and me back rolling in a day and a half 3 year warranty in my new rear end. Thanks Lane your now my choice for any work done in that area. Glad to see that Integrity and service your the greatest keep up the great work

Had transmission replaced. The work was good they stuck real close to their estimates . When extras came up they called before they did anything. Would have been five stars if not for the fact when I got to my truck open the door and saw my seats covered with grease. Judging by the clean shop and workplace attitude would not have guessed they didn't use seat covers. I scrubbed my seeds as much as I could still ruined a pair of jeans after a 4-hour drive.

They don t stand behind anything they say got a kw t800 from them said will be road ready and dot worthy all tire where dry rotted and over 9 years old wouldn t pass dot inspection. I didn t expect to put new tires on just make it Wright . I spent that much money with them and was looking at a other truck from them there loss

There are more wonderful things to say about KC Wholesale than there are words to say them. Thought I had an injector go bad on my series 60 detroit in my 99 T600. I pulled in to the Petro there in Oak Grove after 5pm, called my wife, and we researched dealers & shops in the area. KC Wholesale was the closest to where I was, so I gave them a call. They were closed when I called and left a message....Lane called me promptly when they opened at 8am, and I was able to drive the mile or so to their shop. They had me in a bay by 8:30 to take a look.It turned out to be more serious than a bad injector, - a valve seat had dropped down into the #1 cylinder - and after going over different plans of action, my wife and I decided to have them do an inframe. Chad did the rebuild, and he is amazing. It took a couple of days to get parts and get it done, but Lane and Chad kept me in the loop and informed every step of the way, and I got back on the road in a timely fashion.I had one issue that cropped up a day or so later with the jakes... a problem I've had before with a wire. I called Lane, and got myself back to Oak Grove within a couple of days. They got me right in and had the problem fixed - no charge - in an hour or so.I am extremely pleased with the work that was done, and the price was very fair and competitive. Absolutely worth every penny, and my truck is running better than ever. I have always taken care of problems - large or small - when they pop up, so this was a very unexpected breakdown (I have an OPS system, send in regular oil samples, and they are always normal).I was also impressed with the lady who runs the front desk and is also the parts girl. She spent a good deal of time calling around to find the best prices on parts for the rebuild.The staff at KC Wholesale is amazing. I was very satisfied with the expedient work that they performed on my Freightliner Cascadia the past couple of days. They diagnosed the problem quickly, notified me of the problem immediately and continued their exceptional customer service the whole time. I strongly recommend them and will return, if I'm in the KC area to have work on the truck. I want to give a special kudos to John for the great conversations and Chad for his expertise and knowledge of the problem. Thanks guys. P.S. If your looking for a great buy on a truck at a fair and reasonable price, I hear they have some good deals and programs for truck purchases.

I had my 2012 Freightliner Cascadia repaired at your facility on May 28, 2020 with some computer/truck communication issues including other critical problems that had to be identified, located and fixed. I've been in transportation industry since 1996 and we had to many breakdowns and visited plenty of repair shops since that time all over the country. Very seldom, almost never we come across someone very knowledgeable, proficient, skilled, with abilities to forecast and locate all kinds of truck problems quickly and accurately until we met one of your master technicians Chad Barney. He's a true expert in his trade, very effective, proficient and efficient. Very impressive work!Thank you for outstanding service, great, spacious facility comfort and affordable quality work!Even that we based out of CA, we'll be back again and again in definitely!

Cheapest labor hr rate seen in a while (85$ at time of review 6/5/19) for big rig work. Charged from exactly time they started to time of checkout. No more no less. My deer guard bumper mounting holes where the huge bolts went through on both the bumper and bracket were very worn near through, now they are nice and tight filled in and the bumper is nice and solid without play and even easier to secure back up now that it's mounting is nice and tight. So, solid job looks like. I can't speak to longevity over months or years yet because it was only finished an hour ago, but if no update saying otherwise in the future assume it's still holding solid.

Bought truck from them when to get dot inspected failed because of dry rotated tires they said they guarantee to pass dot wouldn't help with half of the bill poorpoor service did nothing said they would do. Brady is a rat tires where 10 years old with dry root wouldn't drive 1 mile on them veryunsafe and they knew tt !!!!!!!!! Never again Brady see you in court

Bought a truck. It ran for 1800 miles and broke down needs a full overhaul. Wouldn t trust Brady or his father. Edit: you failed to mention we were in business for 2 years in this industry until we made a bad decision and trusted you with our business. But nice try though Lane lol PS thanks for posting my phone number on your google reviews through that document you attached. Customer privacy isn t a thing with you guys either. Thank you James for calling me and letting me know. Hope my feedback of these people helped with your decision.

Thinking about buying a good used truck for a reasonable price? Call Lane at KC wholesale first. I bought 2012 FT Cascadia from KC Wholesale and i am very happy with it. No engine problems and i can always bring it to the shop for $ 85 hourly labor. Quick and convenient service at the shop too.

I am not a rater but i had to write this review coz of how excited I am. I bought two trucks from them for myself and almost 8 other trucks for my friends that recommended and none of those ten trucks had a single problem. If you need quality and reliable trucks with reasonable price then go for KCwholesale. Owner Lane is a very honest guy belief it what he tells you.

Hubby was in a jam with an oversized load. They got him in and diagnosed quickly. Even took him to and from the hotel without question. Repairs were done as quickly as possible with what we thought was a VERY reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them! Thanks for all of your help!

I would highly recommend KC Wholesale. We have bought many vehicles from them over the last couple of years and they continue to exceed our expectations. The most important thing to us is customer service and this organization makes that a priority. If you're looking for a truck dealer in the Kansas City Metro that will shoot you straight and stand behind what they do and sell, you've found them!

Ok First they took 1 week to accomplish what my mechanic of 15 years to accomplish in 1 day 2nd they charged me 3 times the price the parts on my kingpins .. 3rd they messed up ordering my parts 2 times.. 4th the mechanic who worked on my truck was cutting and heating all my steering parts with a torch ALL U NEED IS A BREAKER BAR !! ONLY BECAUSE THE MARKET N MECHANICS I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM BUSINESSBUT PLEASE GO TO THE FREIGHTLINER IN KANSAS CITY THEY DID ME DIRTY . CARRY YOUR OWN PARTS AND GO ELSEWHERE

I personally wouldn't recommend their repair shop because after 3 weeks my truck was at this place, they didn't fix it, I had to pay 9k for their repairs & at the end I've had enough and towed my truck to a different repair place. From the beginning it sounded like a major issue with the engine because of all the given signs (turned out that piece of valve broke off and damaged the cylinder & turbo causing one of the cylinder to misfire ), but they were ignorant to listen to my suggestions and perform the compression test that I specifically was asking them to do from the beginning. Instead they were changing different parts & relying on the expertise of their mechanics. Even though they claim that their mechanics have over 30 years of experience, based on my personal experience, I would stay away from this place.

Started my business with my first semi purchase at KC wholesale and highly recommend this place for begginer owner ops for there 1st purchase. Lane worked out a great deal and payment plan with my truck back in 2016. Great guy and good business since then.

Mark in parts is an asset for the eastern Jackson County western Lafayette county areas. They carry a good inventory that keeps us from trucking into KC or worse mail ordering parts.
