Chris was SO easy to work with and quick to get us in for an oil change! He made sure to look over everything for us at no additional charge, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Very knowledgeable and very good service to back it up! I will be recommending him to anyone looking for a shop!

I ve taken both my cars to Nixa Automotive 4 times now after having terrible experiences at other places. I m new in town as of this last year and it was important for me to find someone who I could rely on to repair and maintain my cars, but also valued customers as well. Nixa Automotive went above and beyond each and every time!! Cris is very knowledgeable and his professionalism is exceptional! I drive around with complete confidence that my cars are working well, and if I ever need, I have a mechanic who is local and cares about his customers. Cris produces quality work and is also very communicative with me about what needs to be done, and what can wait. I never felt pressured to fix anything that wasn t urgent and he was honest if he thought it was urgent. I will never take my cars to anybody but Nixa Automotive!! GREAT place!! Highly recommend!

Chris was kind, professional and very easy to work with. His auto shop is located on the back of his beautiful residential property. It's very easy to find. Making our appointment was effortless as Chris picked up the phone right away and was willing to work with our schedule. I definitely recommend Nixa Automotive and will be going back when we need auto services.

Going to Nixa Automotive was great experience. Heading home from work I heard a thug and banging under my hood. Check engine lights lit up my dashboard. Just recently moving to Nixa, I found Chris at Nixa Automotive and went by there first thing the next morning. He was super nice and knowledgeable about what had happened to my vehicle. He had it fixed by that afternoon and I was quickly back on the road. Can say enough about his concerns and vehicle knowledge and it was a reasonably priced repair. Would recommend him to anyone.Service: Engine repair

I am so grateful I found Nixa Automotive! Cris is a stand-up guy. Sometimes you take your vehicle to a mechanic, and it seems like they give you the least amount of information possible. Cris is NOT like that. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. I had a blinking engine light indicating that the engine was misfiring. I was really concerned my 300,000 mile Toyota Camry was about to breathe her last. Cris immediately put my mind at ease by explaining to me what the problem most likely was. (A bad cylinder) and he was correct. Did I mention the service was FAST? I had my car back the same day running like a champ.He also went the extra mile by driving me back to my house, so I didn't have to walk in the cold. I've been looking for a shop since I moved to Nixa in 2020 and feel like my quest is over. I highly recommend Nixa Automotive!Service: Engine repair

For the first time in a long time I had a great experience with my auto repair! I drive a BMW and to find anyone to maintain it without costing an arm and a leg, to be honest AND do quality work is very hard to find.... Until now. Cris was super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. He went into great detail to explain to me the repair, cost, time frame and kept me updated throughout. Chris is a phenomenal person. I took in my lexus hybrid and had Chris make sure everything was working appropriately. He was straight forward and made sure my car was well maintained. He was easy to work with and was very efficient. Amazing service! Our car had a continuous noise after it would be turned off. We called Chris and he was able to get it our car the same day and fix it at a reasonable price. We got it back later the same day. I highly recommend Nixa Automotive!

Cris did a great job on my 2003 Toyota Tundra. He diagnosed multiple issues and took care of everything we agreed upon, including several check engine codes. Cris worked with me the whole time to make sure I knew what the repairs were and why they were needed. He was very responsive and easy to work with.He charged a very reasonable rate, and was able to get everything done in under 4 days (diagnosis, ordering parts, doing repairs). There was a pretty long list of repairs and maintenance.I've been driving the truck for the last couple weeks, and everything is looking good. I have a 2011 Toyota Venza that we took Cris after seeing his reviews and was not disappointed he is a super nice guy who knows his stuff and did not try to over charge. He looked it over and sent over an itemized estimate of everything that my car needed including his rate into that price. He was responsive and communicative. Cris was amazing, helped us fix our car, and was able to work us in quickly. He answered all our questions and his prices are very reasonable. He even reduced our cost from some part that were cheaper than expected so he just transferred the savings to us. Cris at Nixa Automotive helped my family and me out of a really tight spot two days before Christmas when we were on vacation, several hours from home. A fuel injector went bad causing our engine to run extremely rough. Cris was sympathetic to our situation and got us right in, even dropping us off at Lambert's for lunch while he did the repair! In about two hours, we were back on the road with the engine running like new. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, honest service. He even kept our dog kenneled at the shop while he was working! He really went the second mile for us, and his Christian faith was a bonus for us. Thank you, Cris, and thank you O'Reilly Automotive for connecting us with Nixa Automotive. Excellent car repair experience! This is a locally owned family business. Chris, the owner, took very good care of our 2004 Toyota Tacoma and 2014 Mazda CX-5. High quality repair work and easy to talk to master technician. He is both friendly and honest about what our cars do & do not need. I took my car to Nixa Automotive for the first time last week and Cris worked on my rear breaks while I waited around. He was technically closed but was still willing to help me out and schedule my appointment for after business hours. I work late on the weekdays and some weekends. I needed a mechanic who would install an after market exhaust system on my truck. I called my dealer who wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount of money, without really knowing the details of what to do. I then found Chris, the owner of Nixa Automotive who was able to provide a very reasonable quote on the phone. Please note that with aftermarket parts, issues are bound to come up.I took my truck in today. Chris called me this afternoon, saying it was ready to go. I asked him how the install went? He said it took longer, because of some unforeseen issues which he explained very thoroughly. I asked him how much more I owed? He tells me that his quote is the price. I had to beg him to let me pay him what he deserved, which was still much less than the dealer wanted to charge me.Upon looking at the install, he did a great job. Showed me the OEM muffler, explained all the details.Quality and honesty! I d give him six stars if I could! These guys have a new repeat customer. Thank you Chris!Service: Exhaust

Cris did a great job fixing several issues with my sons car. He showed us all the old parts he took off the car to show us just how bad they were. He fixed the car pretty quick and he seemed like a really honest and nice guy. Where do I start? Cris is a true professional. He doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. The shop is clean and has a great atmosphere to it. Cris is very thorough in diagnosis and goes the extra mile in the work that he does, whether it be maintenance or repairs. It is hard to find a true Christian business that is not purposely scamming people. This business is an example of what a business should be doing. If your mechanic is anyone else, you have the wrong mechanic. Thank you Cris!

I highly recommend using Nixa Automotive. Cris is the best, he answered all my questions and wasn t pushy. He is the most reasonably priced mechanic in this area, and his quality of work is excellent. Sometimes you worry about getting a mechanic that isn t honest, and that will try to put you through the ringer; Cris isn t like that at all. He is very professional and respectable. I will continue to use Nixa Automotive, and so will my family and friends.
