Lovely little motel right off the highway! The rooms were very clean and cozy. The service was professional and yet friendly. We stopped on Christmas Eve and received a discount on the room because "we know that these times can be hard on people, so we are providing a holiday special!" Very sweet sentiment. They also provide a humble, but yummy breakfast in their clean and nicely decorated lobby. I would highly recommend and definitely stay here again if we are ever passing back through.

The service is what I am going to rave about most. It was so above and beyond normal!!First of all, we were desperately looking for lodging just before the 2024 eclipse, as our original plans were for Texas, and they were predicting rain. There was hardly any lodging left in Missouri, near the eclipse. I called Honeysuckle Inn, and they put me on a wait list, and actually called me when there was a cancellation two days ahead. This was more than I would expect of most motels or hotel staffs, to start with. We were able to drive 45 minutes from the motel, to get closer to the center of eclipse path, and get back to motel without encountering traffic jams.Secondly, we were impressed that Honeysuckle Inn did not jack up their prices, as so many motels, inns and lodging in the eclipse path did (sometimes up to 3-5x the usual price). I wanted to patronize them just for that.Thirdly, they brought us a rollaway bed, so we had two beds, and linens were nice and clean.Lastly, I left an expensive memory foam pillow behind, and did not realize it until we were nine hours away. I called and one of the staff was kind enough to offer to box it up and mail it to me.I told her to mail it COD, as it was going to cost about $40. There was some issue at the post office with COD, so they boxed it up in a smaller box, and she paid $20 of her own money to mail it, and was insisting that I did not need to reimburse her (which of course I will do). This is one of the most generous and amazing things I can imagine someone doing, especially an employee who probably makes minimum wage! Going to the post office twice, and offering to pay out of her own pocket to return something I forgot!!!They should call it Hospitality Inn!!The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is right on a fairly busy highway, which is typical of most motels being near a highway for convenience. But we were on the back side, facing a big soccer field, and we did not hear any highway noise.Rooms: The room was clean, and we had a mini-fridge and microwave, which was convenient to heat up leftovers. Beds were comfortable, even the rollaway bed.Food & drinks: The breakfast included with the room is continental, so mostly cereal, yogurt, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. But we heated some eggs and sausage in our microwave, to get some added protein.

We stayed the night here while traveling. Check in was good. It has a very small town mom and pop kind of feel. I was surprised we got a card instead of a key. Our room 108 was recently refurbished and was wonderful. No road noise on the back side of the building. The mattress's weren't the best and were a little squeaky, but we still slept good. Basic continental breakfast was available. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly in all interactions. Building and grounds seemed well in the dark. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents.Rooms: Our room 108 was recently refurbished. It was very nice inside. It looked and smelled very clean. The mattress's were pretty basic, and had some squeaks, but I still slept great.Food & drinks: Normal continental breakfast available. Bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal, etc. drink vending on site.

The owners need to make a few updates to property. It s very dated and old. The outside is very clean and welcoming but the inside of the room 112 is very dated. Bugs in bathroom carpet is very old and stained fixtures or rusted and old tv remote broken door frame coming a part on bottom. And I could ve carried on a conversation with the people outside my room. Their voices were very clear and loud inside our room kids running up and down stairs You could hear every step the people above were making the floors were so thin and the walls also. Not very restful night for the 100+ a night.

We stayed here for our anniversary and the stay was truly wonderful. Staff was friendly and the room rivals big name hotels. I usually only stay at best western or better but I would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Roo. Was luxurious and something you would expect from a large chain.

This hotel lied to me to get me to book with them. I called when I was still 7 hours left calling around for the best rates and somewhere we could check in at 4am because thats the time we would arrive and then we were going to property we purchased near by. On the phone the lady who answered was very sweet and saidbsince we wouldn't be checking in until 4 am that we qould only be charged for 1 night. When we got there to check in the manager was asleep and was not in a good mood. She told me I'd have to check out at 11 am that same day. I explained to her what her employee had told me and requested that be honored. She would not hear any of it and by this time I had already paid her or we would have left right then. The next morning I talk to the lady who booked the room for me which was more expensive through the hotel than online. The only reason we picked this 2 star motel to stay in is because we were told we would only be charged 1 night. I am disputing the second night with my bank since the manager refuses to answer my calls or call me back. I left several messages for her including 1 right before I left and not once has she tried to reach out to me. The manager rolled her eyes about my emotional support dog but she had a little furry Chihuahua running all over the property and a cat with a huge tick on it scratched at our door the whole time. When i pet it i ran my hand along its tail where the tick was and it attacked my hand so obviously its in pain and quite honestly its probably the managers cat too. My hand has been swollen ever since. The rooms are tiny and the "breakfast" is not really a breakfast. Its some bagels, cereal and muffins. I was told check in wasn't until 4 pm to give their cleaners time to get rooms ready, but our room was ready when we got there because i called ahead of time and was lied to about being charged for 1 night because they did charge me for 2 nights at nearly $100 a night. Im currently 20 minutes from Gatlinburg, TN and even their hotels arent this expensive for the quality you get. The manager lives on premises and demonstrates poor customer service. Tells visitors no dogs but lets hers run free. Its in the middle of nowhere and she told me your not gonna find another hotel for 30 minutes which was fine with me. I could have stopped inside Missouri at a big chain hotel checked in and only been charged for the 1 night because thats all we stayed. Lets not forget the price gouging drink machines your better off to walk across the street to the store than give the manager who doesn't stand behind what her employees say and honor what was told to the customer. I strongly recommend you stay anywhere but this place. The rooms definitely aren't worth $100 a night and the manager herself is so desperate for business she couldn't honor what was told to us. The next day the lady who told me that said her manager chewed her out and she told me wrong. Im sorry but that is not how you run a business. Maybe run one into the ground. I just wanted to warn everyone here NOT TO STAY HERE. Make the extra Drive or stop before you get there because this place is definitely not worth $200 for the few hours we were there. Im reporting this to my bank and also the BBB, because I left a note for the manager before we left out Monday morning that I would give her until Wednesday to call me which she chose not to, so now I am doing my best to make sure nobody makes the same mistakes that I made when dealing with this motel. Once again they lie over the phone and tell you what you want to hear and then they change it up once you've arrived. I have never dealt with a more grumpy manager in my whole life. I was told to ring the ring doorbell when we got there and she would let us in and she took forever because she was asleep and it was just an absolute disaster. Im disputing the second charge because that is not we were told and the employee kept apologizing but that did nothing to fix the situation. If your word means nothing so does your business!Rooms: Small and not worth the $100+ a night.Nearby activities: Nothing for miles and miles.Noteworthy details: Not honest people at all. Manager is running the business into the ground.

Service was excellent from our first phone call!! The night shift lady had everything set up for us when we arrived. The office smelled amazing as we walked in and the service was even better!! We enjoyed a good night's sleep and absolutely loved the embroidery on the sheets Our room was clean and the sheets smelled wonderful and crisp. Our experience here was absolutely amazing. Coffee and conversation the next morning was just as amazing. We were so thankful to find this place and highly recommend!!

Comfy bed, clean rooms, plenty of towels, and toiletries are provided. We stayed 4 nights, and the location was perfect, close to where we needed to be. All the staff during our stay were very nice and friendly and provided us with information places to see, restaurants that are kid friendly. This is just a suggestion. The fridge and the dresser might need to rise just a little bit higher to accommodate people that have limitations to bend. I understand the reason why it is too low, to accommodate someone in wheelchair but it will be nice if you all can work something out to accommodate all with different disabilities. All in all, I love this hotel, and I will definitely stay here if we are visiting the area in the future.Rooms: Clean room!

Nice clean room. For me, the mattress was not the greatest, my personal opinion, of course. They have recently installed new door key card locks super nice! But I still would, as a guest, prefer a lock on the inside of my room as well. My greatest complaint probably would be that the beds rails in my room didn't have the guard on the end of them, I clipped the end of the bed and still have a small cut couple minutes the bleeding stopped. Nicole at the front desk (believe that was her name) was extremely Nice. Thanks Honeysuckle!

The room looked ok when walking in but soon realized bed was worse than sleeping on a floor. Slept on 3 pillows to try to save my back. Never again. Would not recommend to anyone. Wish we would have driven the extra miles. My back will hurt my whole vacation thanks to the 30 year old mattress that had springs in my back. If my boyfriend was not to tired to drive I would have left and let them keep the money. It was that bad. The towels were big enough for a newborn. Very disappointed. Thanks for not meeting my expectations as that is all you will say anyways with your automated responses. You will soon be out of business with these below standard beds. Not acceptable.

Budget friendly family rooms. Clean and more spacious than expected. Good water pressure for showers. Very accommodating staff, even with a late check-in. Clean breakfast area with ample seating. They offer cereal, juice, milk, and a waffle maker. If you re looking for a more substantial breakfast, they re not far from a few local restaurants. Easy to find, right on the main highway.

I ve stayed here many times over the years and it used to be a wonderful place to stay. Sadly, since the new owners purchased it earlier this year, it has quickly gone downhill.Staff turnover is alarmingly high (not a single familiar face anymore) and prices have gone up significantly, while you re getting less than you did before. The hotel is definitely not being kept at the same high standard as it was with the prior owners. Very unfortunate.
