This hotel was very nice and the price was excellent we had our dog with us and the price was $77.00 The location was perfect. The room was very comfortable it made us feel right at home.There was a Casey's right next door. It was late when we got in so we went there and got a pizza for dinner. The staff was fantastic. They were more than willing to help us out when we arrived there was a sign that said no rooms available but they checked again and found a room for us. I would highly recommend this place if you're in that area and need some place to stay. Thank you so much for helping us out.

Sadly there were no rooms on first floor so even through I am not suppose to climb steps, I did. The room was nice, clean and the bed very comfortable. The doors are clearly marked w/room numbers, yet just after we turned out our lights and settled in someone started trying to get into our room, was very loud and sounded like they were crashing it in. Thankfully we had doubled locked it. After falling asleep we slept very good. Will stay there again.

**Do not book if there is any chance you will arrive later than 10 PM!**According to their website, check-in closes at midnight. However, upon arrival there was a sign on the door stating that the front desk closes at 10. We rang the doorbell and called the hotel and received no response. This was especially problematic because we had to get our toddler back to bed and were stranded in the middle of nowhere late at night. We were forced to drive to Hannibal to find a hotel last-minute and ended up spending nearly triple what we would have at this hotel. Fortunately, we were not charged, which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1.

The man at the front desk with the glasses was the most genuine guy we've ever met, made our family feel right at home. Room on bottom floor, clean and spacious enough for our 3 daughters to sit with there small toys and play while we relax recuperate from the travel, would recommend this hotel to any family looking for a safe family friendly place to sleep, the staff here has definitely left a lasting impression and set a high bar for modern hotels.

One star rating. Once you book a room in advance. All good until the day of checking in they will call you and give a lame excuse saying power circuit breaker blew. They are returning all the guests out. That wasn't the case. They were over booked and canceled people. Why lie ?????I don't tolerate lying company. Just face the fact and admit your wrong and tell the truth...... I had to make a last minute reservation in another city on Labor day weekend....thanks to you

This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, but that s where it ends. This hotel definitely needs updating throughout the entire inside and outside. Breakfast could have been a lot better. The only warm items were a waffle maker and a toaster. The carpet and furniture in our hotel room looked new. The air conditioner/heater looked quite old and needed to be updated. The bathroom also needed to be updated. We were a registered guest and stayed for one night on October 14, 2022.

This place gets a negative on top of a negative! I had booked someone from my job to this very hotel and she waited in her car for 45 mins, and no one was even there! Nobody answered the phone or the door! It was like a ghost zone! I had my person call crying because she was so stressed and all she wanted to do was get in her room! I was so thankfully I found her a close by hotel instead of her driving home 3 hours away. I work for Missouri Department of Revenue. Very upset and disappointed in these people and their hotels!

HIGHLY recommend! Exceptionally clean & very comfortable bed. Refrigerator& microwave in room. Quiet! Plenty of parking room for our truck w trailer atch. Very nice manager at check in. Will def use again!!

It is a nice place with friendly staff. The price can t be beat. Room clean but thin walls. Family came in next door and father yelled at kids all night. Not the Inn s fault, but put families and kids away from other rooms. I would stay again as cheaper than options in Hannibal.

We have stayed here 3 times within the last year and a half. This place is awesome. We love the atmosphere and the owner is great to talk too. Rooms are always clean. Owner seems to be involved in the daily working of the hotel and makes sure everything is up to par. Breakfast is always great and plenty to choose from to fill you up. We will be back every chance we get as we know it will be a comfortable stay every time.

If there was a 10 star option, this place earns it. Super clean, attractive and every need met without overdoing it. The usual amenities: fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in good order. The price is reasonable and the owners are great. Pets are welcome and there is plenty of lawn for walking them. We will stay here again and will tell others who travel this route. We haven t tried the breakfast yet but given the reasonable room price, breakfast if a gift of the management.The town is worth a look. Quaint and good shopping. We left some money there!

So far we ve stayed here twice, 2 adults, 1 cat. The owners are super nice , the hotel and the rooms are the cleanest I ve seen from ANY hotel since Covid started. And the best part ? It s also the most inexpensive. Almost like every other hotel is scamming you for cash.This hotel is a literal dream to stay.Breakfast was as expected, hot and delicious.Even if you have to go out of your way a bit to stay here, worth it.

Not far off the highway. It's an older place but the rooms are nice and well Kept. The soda machines do not take credit cards so you will need dollars. The hot water took a while to get hot and seemed to run out quickly. There was a decent amount of channels to watch which was nice. There are a couple of places to eat close by. Over all it was a nice place to stay. I would stay here again.

We had pleasure of staying here the last week of Oct 2021, traveling on 36 west and happened upon this "gem". It is so Clean and nicely re-modeled. all new shiny laminate wood floors in the rooms and beds are perfect, and bathrooms clean and sooo nice. The best part, is it is quiet and the couple/family that own it are very accommodating and pleasant and are interested in the comfort of your stay, Great local places to eat so close to hotel, and the best part is the WAFFLE for breakfast. Yes, a breakfast is provided, and it is wonderful..great juices and danish and muffins and cereals and bagels and toast..but OH the waffle is the BEST I have ever had! it is either the waffle mix that they use, or the Cuisinart waffle maker, or a combination.. I wish I had another one right now! DO plan on staying here,,the price is unmatched and you will be so happy that you saved money and stayed in a fantastic place. We will be back, as we travel route 36 twice a year, from Ohio to Colorado.

This is a basic hotel that is very clean, in a great location, with very friendly people managing the place. The price is wonderful. Yes, the breakfast is simple but I would gladly trade a fancy breakfast for the great price that they offer. I can walk down the street to Casey's to get a breakfast sandwich. The rooms have everything that I need. This is our go-to place when we travel back east to visit family. It is a great bargain. But book early - this place consistently fills up!

My fiance and I love to go see New state parks so this being close to the state park and pet friendly we picked this place. The listing showed in 3 different places that the pool and hot tub was open for guests, even when you pull in on the sign says indoor pool, however when you check in there is a sign saying it's closed due to covid. After we got into our room we went and checked out the hotel the pool is completely drained and used for storage lol, our room was clean I will give them that! However our bed was stiff and our heater smelt like mold. The guy at the front desk was very nice and very helpful.

Ignore the negative reviews, this place is awesome. Needed somewhere to stay in a pinch, room reservation was quick and painless. Staff was overly helpful and friendly, family owned and operated from what I understand. The owner was willing to work with me to let me keep the room until hours after checkout- just so my dog could stay while my daughter and I swam at the lake. Awesome. Room was spotless upon arrival, complimentary breakfast. This stay saved/added to our vacation experience for sure. I will be returning as well as recommend this spot to anyone. Stay here!

This hotel is the single most comfortable, clean, accommodating, and straightforward hotel that has ever graced any of the plain states (to which I can attest because I have driven through most of them in the last 10 days). Compared to the other 6 hotels along my journey through the plains, the Fairbridge inn had the best value with a very fair rate, and best customer service bar none due to Ted the owner (please god let me have gotten his name right) being like your elderly caring uncle just making sure you got what you need and kindly telling you the rules. The rooms made you feel like home in a way every other hotel failed; blankets like your Grammy made em, the temperature control unit was smooth and quiet, and of course, they were very clean and the beds were very comfortable.Ted. If that is your name. If you do something literally no hotel has ever done and provide some quality coffee at the complimentary breakfast, you will have become the best hotel a human could hope to find in the middle of nowhere. Thank you for your service.

My brother and I stayed at this hotel from Aug 12-16, 2019, we did not make reservations, just showed up and was given a room that was clean, cool (air conditioning really works!) and comfortable. Staff was always friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was nice, toast, muffins, waffles and such. The thing I liked the most, was walking into the room and not smelling that "stale air" from the wall air conditioner unit. They had a filter in it with a pleasant "fruity" smell. I would stay here again!

The Rooms were large. Had a fully equipped kitchen. Bed and Pillows were comfortable. The rooms were clean. And if that wasn't enough the Service from the staff was exceptional (Thank you for the Early Check In after a long overnight flight!). And best of all was the Location!!!!!!I would recommend this Hotel to everyone!
